Reminder button for editors
As an editor, when I'm driving, using the app, when I see something that I need to add or fix later in the editor, I have to takes my eyes off the road while I find and press five buttons, type a brief reminder, then press Send.
For users who are also editors, could you add a "Reminder" button to the screen after the orange button (the screen with the Traffic, Hazard, Map Issue, etc buttons), that will simply leave a "Reminder" UR, with the editor's userid filled in.

Tell Wazers to form a rescue alley in a traffic jam
When you are in a traffic jam you have to form a rescue alley (in germany and many other countries). But nobody is doing so. That's making it hard for the ambulance to reach the injured people.
Please tell the wazers to form a rescue alley when waze recognizes a traffic jam.

Tunnel Navigation bluetooth OBDII
Typically GPS signal is lost in long tunnels. Why not include a waze connection to a bluetooth enabled OBDII device in your car to give accurate speed. The direction is immaterial as the tunnel path is well known. The devices are cheap about $5 to $20 on ebay. Waze would benefit by knowing speed through tunnels. Yes, beacons are good, but not if they are sparsely placed.

Please add an immigration and customs enforcement Checkpoint
Could you please add an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Checkpoint item into a future version of waze? These are not police items, but can slow traffic down, so knowing in advance where they are would be COOL!

Sharing anonymized GPS data
This message concerned potential ConnectedCitizens partners. Uber just allow sharing their GPS anonymized data : https://movement.uber.com/cities . I think Waze should look into that possibility for ConnectedCitizens partners as this data has great interest for different transportation planning purposes. It could allow analyzing weaving highway section or origin-destination major interchange movements. Thanks for considering this possibility.

Replace car on shoulder with person on shoulder
It's damn annoying having car on shoulder reports every 3 min while in major city's. If a car is ok the shoulder that's not a hazard unless a person is outside of their car. Just replace car on shoulder with person on shoulder. Then there will be less alerts.

Add arrive button
Sometimes when arriving at very large places, Waze thinks that you arrive only when you are in the front door of the place. Think for example in a mall, the parking lot will be huge, but Waze already traced the route until the front door.
An "arrive" button will help Waze to understand that you are already at your destination and there is no need to recalculate the route while you are looking for a parking spot9 votes -
You should be able to sign up without a phone number, very disappointed that you can't already...
You shouldn't have to enter your phone number to sign up.

MORE navigation options, in addition to shorter time or distance
I would LOVE for waze to have multiple options for routes. For instance :
Standard options:
- shortest distance
- shortest time
Standard avoids :
- avoid toll roads
- avoid highwaysNew ones:
- least turns
- least traffic lights ;New avoiding routes:
- avoid construction routes
- avoid one lane streets
- avoid streets with traffic moving slower thanAll of these should be able to mix and match and specify further details. For instance it would be great if it showed option to list trips within X percent of time to shortest time trip. It can display stats for these: ex: 25 turns, 10 Street lights, 2 one lane roads, etc etc

Alerts based on Route
Since Waze has the ability to track your trips I came up with this.
Lets say you drive to work everyday. You know their are 5 Speed Cameras, 4 Construction Zones and 6 Potholes. Waze should automatically disable it's alerts if you are familiar with the Route.
Lets say it disables it when Waze knows you have been on the same Route for at least a week.
Now if for example later on in the future there is a new Construction, or SpeedCamera installed on the same route it alerts you since it's new.
This would eliminate the need to be annoyed with the same alerts every day going to Work.

report something when u park. While driving u can't report accidents etc
While driving today I couldn't report a accident. When I finally stop or parked I still can't report it bc I'm not on that road. Make it so I can still report something by touching the spot where the problem was.

Alert No Longer There
I might have missed the feature -if it exists- to report that an Alert is no longer where it is reported. This would be police, accidents, obstacles, etc. On the other hand, the app may have some way to statistically do that; ie if there have been no "thumbs up" for a period of time, the Alert no longer exists.

Danger level routes
Hi there,
I love Waze and use it everywhere in the world, mainly Africa and South America where traffic can be hectic... But also dangerous.
I would love to have the option in Waze to chose a route depending on how dangerous the area to cross is.9 votes -
Being able to report an incident from anywhere
I would like the ability to report an incident from anywhere on the map. i.e. If I am driving down the road and I see an accident, but because I am driving, I am not able to report it at that moment. If I pull up to a red light, I would be able to zoom in on the map on the app and report it. I have tried to do this before, but, I just wound up reporting an accident of where I currently was instead of where I was zooming in on the map. I believe this is much safer since we shouldn't be on our phones while driving.

Move the Closure icon
The Closure button/icon is effectively hidden with the current UI design. Could it be switched with the Chat button/icon? I've never wanted to "chat" while driving, but have wanted to report closures several times.

Separate the Confirm or Deny buttons on the Screen by a lot more
Separate the Confirm or Deny buttons on the Screen by a lot more-
On a phone screen, the button to confirm a hazard/etc is too close to the button for negating the hazard. While driving, especially if you hit a bump, the chance of hitting the wrong button would be greatly reduced if the separation between the two buttons were greater. For instance if the confirm button was on one side of the screen and the deny button was on the opposite side of the screen.
