Make U-turn segment length shorter to 10m.
In India it's very difficult to create U-turns with segment lengths greater than 16m.
Please make it 10m or between 10m and 16m.Thanks.

Roads with permits for residents only
Very often there are streets that can only be used by residents.
It would be useful to be able to set the segments on the WME "residents only".
This way only those who add their home address on those streets in to the app will be able to use them.
It is different from editing a road as private, because it would only allow access to residents, whereas now if you search for a destination on a private road everyone can access it.40 votesThanks for your feedback. Registered adress for work-study student
It could be cool if you can add school next to the home and work registered places on your Waze for student who work and go to school. I know that you can add a place but just a cool small shortcut to do that

Manage closures in the Issue Tracker menu
Live closures are one of the most important contributions that editors can make to the Waze map
The functionality of viewing past closures on the map has recently been added, which adds complexity to the view.
This suggestion involves managing closures from the Issue Tracker, allowing you to filter those that have been completed, those that are about to expire, or those within a period of time; or by zones in the same way as the UR, PUR or MP

Spike Risk Area Alert
I’d like to propose a new community-reportable hazard feature for Waze specific to South Africa’s growing road safety issue.
Over the past few years, there has been a serious increase in criminal incidents involving metal spikes being placed on roads especially on poorly lit highways and rural routes at night. Criminals use these spikes to cause tire blowouts or immobilize vehicles, forcing drivers to stop and then robbing or attacking them.
Why Waze Users Need This:
Many Waze drivers rely on Waze to avoid police traps, traffic, and accidents. Being able to mark or receive warnings about known “spiking hotspots”…3 votes -
Create a separate field for road numbers
Whilst the addition of road shields has been excellent, I do think there should be a separate road number category with the road shield only applying to that instead of the street/alternate names. This will allow for a more accurate result with any addresses that are on roads that have a designated number as well as keeping consistency as sometimes the same address can apply to two different road types.
There had previously been discussions in the UK Waze community Discord regarding road numbers and only using them in the alternate address field. Currently this proposal is on hold due…

Save speed history
Got into a run in with an aggressive cop said I was speeding and other bs, my Waze app was on, it would be the best if I could have seen the history of speed bc I genuinely don't believe I was speeding or it was a fair stop.

thank you for considering adding low bridge and unsuitable roads for larger vehicles :)
Low Bridge and unsuitable road warnings would be great for larger vehicle operators thank you... and a big thank you for Waze in general :)

Layer toggling keyboard shortcut for Hazards
There are some discrepancies between the shortcuts and the actual Layer menu when it comes to Hazards. Currently, there are shortcuts to toggle Speed cameras and Railroad crossings only.
However, there are other Hazards with more frequent instances on the map that could also benefit from keyboard shortcuts. In my opinion, a single toggle for the entire Hazards section would be sufficient. Nonetheless, I'd welcome additional individual toggles along with the general one.

The Speed Limit Icon is difficult to be seen. It could be same size as the Actual Speed Icon size.
I'm 69 Y/O My car (Audi Q5) has a small Apple Car Play screen. The Speed Limit Icon (Square White and Black) is difficult to be seen. Its size is to small. It could have the same size of the Actual Speed Icon (Round Black and red). The map allouds to bear a little bit bigger the Sped Limit Icon. IS it possible to increase it? Thank you for your support. Debería existir una opción que advirtiera sobre que se aproxima algún cruce peatonal.

Issue Tracker Saved Filter: Should be able to modify/edit an already saved filter
I should be able to modify or edit an already saved search.
When saving a new filter, a dropdown of saved searches should be displayed, and if one is selected, an overwrite warning should appear. This should be alongside a "create new filter" option.

Add general destination information to URs
URs have been improved by adding more information in WME 2.206, and it would be nice to continue to add information that doesn't jeopardize the privacy of the reporter.
My idea would be to add information on how the stop point of a user's route was obtained - whether it be a house number, house number interpolation, RPP, Google address, Waze place, Google place, etc. Specifics on the geographic location wouldn't be needed, it would just be very beneficial to know how the stop point was chosen. We get a lot of URs complaining about navigation ending at the wrong…

Flagging matches with permanently closed venues
With the "Enhanced Matching" between Waze and Google venues going live, some Waze venues are matched with 'Permanently closed' place from Google Maps.
While these are accurate matches, we won't know these places are permanently closed until an editor interacts with the place or a user reports it to us.
My suggestion is to flag such matches to be reviewed by editors. A PUR or something like that.

Weitere Einschränkungen für Straßen ermöglichen
Es gibt wichtige Einschränkungen wie: Maximal zulässige Gesamtmasse eines Fahrzeugs, Maximale Fahrzeughöhe, Verbot für bestimmte Fahrzeugklassen (z.B. LKW) . Diese sollten über den Editor eingegeben werden können.

Issue Tracker: better filtering of Map Suggestions
In the issue tracker, we can filter Map Suggestions by status: Open, Closed, or All, with a few subcategories under Closed. However, "Open" suggestions include (a) suggestions with status "Lapsed" and (b) suggestions that can't be accepted or rejected because "Change already applied to the map." Please add filters that would allow us to exclude (a) and/or (b) from the Open category.
