UR feed should include recently edited areas
After modifying an area, both senior and junior editors should pay close attention to new URs in that area to alert them of possible errors or oversights. To facilitate this, an editor's WME feed should list URs occurring in a localized area where that editor has recently made significant changes, e.g. "Near recent edits".
There should be some kind of threshold to this behavior, so that making a minor edit in a dense, heavily-Wazed area with many URs does not unleash an onslaught of unrelated URs in one's feed. The threshold may need to depend on the rank and activity…

Truck Routes / Bike Routes
Add a commercial truck routes mode for truck drivers on the app, a lot of trailer tractor drivers out there struggling with traffic and fines bc of not knowing which routes are best for them on each new city they go to. PLEASE HAVE THIS IN CONSIDERATION ALONG WITH BIKE ROUTES TOO.

Option to select all segments in a closure at once
It happens that a road closure has to be adjusted (end time changed) or removed. It would be very useful if you could select all segments that belong to a road closure directly at once, eg based on start / end time, description, MTE.
(this can be especially useful for large scale works, closures with many small segments, or if you have to work in WME frequently on a mobile device)13 votes -
New suggestion subcategories: (1) UR Handling and (2) Management Tools
Please add suggestion-box subcategories for (1) UR Handling and (2) Management Tools. These are critical aspects of the experience for all Waze editors. Strictly speaking they are somewhat separate from main WME functionality, so it would be more inviting to provide dedicated suggestion subcategories.
UR Handling would involve all aspects of how URs and PURs are submitted and handled, including communication with UR reporters. Community Management Tools would involve Waze tools to support how new and advancing editors are contacted, informed, awarded greater responsibilities, or in the unfortunate but not uncommon case of difficult editor situations, contained.

WME notification shouldn't reset counter of PMs in forum
If I get a new private message while I'm in WME, the notification shows a tiny 1, and the counter of unread PMs in the forum is reset to 0. The counter should be reset only after the PM has been read in the forum.

custom alerts
I would like to be able to place custom warnings in WME that come through to the app.
problem:
- certain tunnels see a lot of truckers or camper vans getting jammed because they are too large to enter.
- school area's getting dangerous when people who do not know the area are routed through due to a traffic jam somewhere else.Idea:
I imagine this like placing a speedcam in WME but then beeing able to fill in a message (with a set maximum of characters).
We could use those to put warnings in problematic areas, and these can…16 votes -
Differentiate Visiting Helpers/Raiders from True Area Managers
Please differentiate between visiting helpers/raiders and true Area Managers. At present, temporary map raiders and other visiting helpers are typically provided with editable area by granting them "Area Manager" status. As a result, community tools do not distinguish between visiting helpers and dedicated local managers. This can confuse editors, particularly beginners and visitors, who want to identify a true Area Manager for a region in order to open a conversation on local issues. It may also demoralize true Area Managers when the same status they worked hard for, and feel proud to have been granted, appears to be granted with…

Allow searching for Comments
It would be helpful to search for specific comments. For example, comments with "TODO" in the title.

3000 modifications to reach level 2 !!
I am disappointed to have to make 3.000 modifications to reach level 2 ... 25,000 for level 3 and 100,000 for level 4!
It's a 24 hour job!
At level 4 approval from the team and local experts is needed ... stupid!
it's easier to get into the FBI!
With my 56 edits that I'm so proud of ... I'm ridiculous!5 votes -
Make road hazard and police icons bigger while using apple carplay
While using apple CarPlay in a 2020 Silverado, the road hazard and police icons are tiny little dots, while the restaurant and other less important icons are huge. Please make the icons for road hazards bigger.

Editing rank on a per-server or per-polygon basis
Waze is a worldwide service with global user permissions, but often travelling editors will do work in another area, or editors will take on area management roles in multiple countries. This can lead to disagreement about an editor's capabilities between different management groups in self-managed countries which can hamper a user's ability to get promoted. I would like to propose that it be possible to grant a user enhanced rank in certain areas only instead of globally. This could be tied to the server (environment), or better to a polygon much like we define Area Management areas today.

Landmark and POI's categories
In WME, while editing the map, it would be useful to have the possibility to activate/deactivate categories of Landmarks/POI’s – something similar to Map Layers: I do not need to have all the categories visible and somehow polluting the map with Landmarks/POI’s like Park, Beach, River, etc.
So, the idea is to have the possibility to select those categories I want to see and deactivate those less interesting for the day-to-day editing.
Thanks.

Description field for road closures
You want to pass on information about a road closure to other editors so that they can see why a closure was entered. A description field for internal information would be great, as with restrictions. At the moment you have to share the information, for example, through an extra map comment.

Improve Segment History Reporting of Turns
Description: Currently when editors make most changes to a turn between two segments the segment history simply shows "Turn onto X road updated". It would be much more helpful if we could easily tell what was changed about that turn. Was is a turn instruction override (TIO)? A difficult turn? Time-based restrictions? There was a change in a value associated with the data model of that segment, so it's very much possible to have the segment history be more specific.
In this image there are three entries for turn updates to the same turn, but other than the TIO there…

Push questions to communicate with drivers
A suggestion to enable Push questions (PQ’s) to communicate with drivers in order to solve map problems
I thought it would be really great if Area managers would be able to send PQ’s to drivers in order to get their help in resolving map problems.
For example:
• If I get a UR (in an area with low traffic) suggesting that a right turn isn’t enabled anymore and I want to verify this I might need to wait a long time until someone else will send an additional UR.
• Or if a road is suspected to be closed and…8 votes -
Speed limit update requests to Production in ROW
Given that the appearance of SLURs has now calmed down I would like to make a proposal to move SLURs from beta to production editor.
There are, however, two questions to everyone in ROW:
1) can you reports SLs from app? New SLURs pop up from time to time, but I haven't been able to make one myself;
2) would you like to bring all previous SLURs to prod or have a reset and make a fresh start? My vote goes to "bring everything to prod", because the current amount and appearance of new ones is manageable.By: matsalka

Thank you for this suggestion. As it was announced in the forum we are currently working on improving the SLUR workflow and user experience.
This suggestion will be taken into consideration in the work. So, thank you again we will update accordingly.
