Control point / guard house on road
I would like to recommend Waze add a map editing / issue feature for a road control checkpoint. A checkpoint is a common element of various roads around the world and would be important for Waze to add the ability to indicate it.

custom layers and map editor colours / themes
so I have used Waze for a bit and I love seeing the editor map with the coloured roads, but there's a few problems...
- no support in night mode
- can't change the colours, even if it's there to match the sign sometimes I want to have custom colours,
- can't have custom layers, sometimes I want to have the alternate route 1 in Melbourne Australia white or create my own custom routes. a layer I would like to create is a mobile camera colour where a road that has mobile cameras and such shows up as a custom…1 voteThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Particular and recurring restrictions
Sometimes I faced uncommon recurring restrictions to be applied on a segment, for example:
- every first sunday of every month;
- every third thursday of even months;
- every last saturday of every month. There is NO WAY to do it automatically in WME, because the editor is unable to know which is the first occurrence of sunday every month and so on, meaning I have to edit those restrictions manually, and I will for sure forget about them.
Developing a built-in tool for these particular cases could be globally very useful.

"Hide street name" option
Include a checkbox near the street name for segments, so that when it is selected the name of the street does not appear on the live or client map. This would be useful for segments that have a name that would benefit directions, but could be confusing to see on the map. For example, seeing the name "Main St Frontage Road" on the app, especially when zoomed out enough that the name appears right over "Main St", could easily cause confusion and take longer for the driver to comprehend the map, especially if they are familiar with the area.

Not a helpful shortcut
Funneling drivers onto Dinnick Crescent (Toronto) at rush hour instead of continuing to the light at Mt. Pleasant and Lawrence actually creates a worse, or equally bad lineup, as there is no ability to turn left (west) onto Lawrence. The traffic on Lawrence is solid for several blocks and drivers don't make room for those turning left, which then creates a lineup of cars on Dinnick with angry drivers who want to turn right. It would save time to simply stay on Mt. Pleasant and wait for the light.

Select left hand drive or right hand drive vehicle
My car is a left hand drive vehicle however while using the app on an android headunit the directions are on the left side of the screen while the map is on the right hand side of the screen which is very hard to see. I suggest an option if your car is a left hand drive vehicle to swap these two and revert back if it is a right hand drive vehicle.

Modify the display when showing history of Turn Guidance
When checking the history of changes to turn guidance, the side panel is too narrow to display the Turn Guidance image (both before and after images)
The box for displaying the arrow takes up half the width (although the proportions are consistent with how its displayed) we don't need that much space used when checking the history.I am not sure what other changes might be possible, maybe also providing the text fields as text (it would allow us to see if the change was with information in the text field.

Dismiss auto completion of segment name in WME
When providing segment names, sometimes the auto completion overrides correct street names with the already provided wrong title. I found no other way of overriding it except deleting the wrong name from all segments that use it and saving them without a name. Afterwards it's possible to add the name. This is especially problematic when one just needs to adjust something from lower to upper case and the other way round.
In my opinion there should be an option like a cross at the end of the auto completion menu that closes it and offers the ability to provide a…

Exit numbers on freeways that change the voice instruction
In some countries, including here in Australia, freeway exits often have exit numbers on the signs. Currently, we include these in the ramp segment's name. This means that, for example, a voice instruction may sound like this:
"In 1 kilometre, exit to the left onto Exit 24: C407 - Clyde Road to Berwick"
You can see how the word "exit" is repeated. If we could mark exit numbers on the map, then the voice instruction could give a more natural sounding sentence, for example:
"In 1 kilometre, take exit 24 on the left onto C407 - Clyde Road to Berwick"

New category inherent to places
I would suggest the creation of a specific category for the departure and arrival stations of the cable cars, cable cars, chairlifts and ski lifts etc etc.
Looking forward to a positive response.

Disable closures' tab on non-drivable segments
It is suggested to disable the closures tab when selecting non-drivable segments (staurway, railroad, PBW, WT). It has no effect on routing and it distracts the attention of the driver.

Add Names of Lakes and Rivers to the display in the APP
In some areas bodies of water are significant landmarks that aid in navigation. The names of major bodies of water are shown in the Live Map already. I assume the names shown in the LM are coming from the Water Layer. Enabling these names to be displayed would be a great addition to the App.

Fix bug when multiple URs are submitted from the exact same location.
When multiple URs are submitted at the exact same location only the last one can be opened. When you try to open the others the display hangs and a hard refresh must be used.

Lane closures
The possibility for us editors to close lanes on for example highways.
We'd indicate which lane is closed and a RoadShield like box would appear showing arrows so that users can change lanes early to the non close ones.

Drivable Areas
The current solution for parking lots and gas stations is not particularly user friendly. A user driving within these areas is directed to follow parking lot road segments which can be very complex and still may not represent the paths that drivers actually follow.
A means to give a user a general instruction to proceed to a particular exit to get going on their route could result in a better user experience, especially in the case of of multi-level parking structures where a user may drive in circles repeatedly as they proceed to the exit level.3 votes -

Apply alternative name to all selected segments of the street
Today, if an alternative name is only assigned to some segments of a street, and you select also segments of the street without the alternative name, there is no indication of such status and no way to apply the alternative name to all segments. Please add such indication and action.

minimize the URs window
in the URs window we have "x" button but we dont have minimize button "-", Some times it block viewing the Waze provided route & User drive (GPS trace) to study it. So if we have the minimize button who need to minimize it he can.
