Please can you introduce sub and sub-sub folders etc. for saved places.
It would be great to be able to have and categorise sub folders with labels such as restaurants, hospitals, friends, clients etc.. These might be further nested to a higher level by area, county or country for example.
It is really very cumbersome to scroll through hundreds of saved places to find the one I want. When I travel abroad I have different countries places all mixed together in one long list. With nested sub folders, finding a particular saved place could be done in mere seconds.16 votes -
Turn openings (temporary green arrow)
I loved "turn closures", but now I see the need to have "turn openings".
For example, a left turn is usually prohibited (red arrow). However, due to an event occurring on the next block, this left turn is temporarily allowed (green arrow) for a few hours on a specific day.
This is a common situation and, depending on the location, can save a lot of time by avoiding an unnecessary detour of several kilometers.

Calques Cadastre
Temporary real-time traffic regulations override
Police frequently implement temporary local traffic regulations, such as diverting vehicles through bus lanes or HOV lanes. On Waze, these segments are typically mapped with Time-Based Restrictions (TBRs) to prevent routing through them. However, these areas are usually pre-mapped. I propose creating a new entity within WME that can be toggled in real-time to override existing TBRs, allowing for more accurate routing based on live traffic conditions

Parking lot type (motorcycles-only, cars-only, both)
It's very common, at least in Colombia, parking lots only for motorcycles and it's really dissapointing to arrive at a parking lot suggested by Waze, and realize that it's a motorcycle-only parking lot and you're driving a car.
Please add a new property in WME to choose the type of parking lot: motorcycles-only, cars-only, or both, and add a new feature in app to filter by parking lot type.57 votesThanks for your feedback. House numbers for villages with no street names
There are many places where there are no street names - it's just "City name - number" as the address.

Exportable Layer
The consulting firm I work with does a lot of travel demand model updates and we use the Waze Map Editor quite a bit to update our network's posted speed. We would love to see a feature that allows for the exporting of a selected region's posted speed network to help make these speed updates more efficient. Is this a feature Waze can do now or possibly look into in the future?

Add km and miles distance to the navigation screen
Please, update the app to show the distance with both km and miles at the same time.
On the bottom of the navigation screen (after setting the destination) there is plenty of space, I grew up on a country that uses km, now I live in the US that uses miles, but it will take a long time to get used to it, therefore showing both simultaneously (e.g 10 mi / 16 km) would be perfect!4 votes -

Adjustable Speeding Threshold for Accurate Alerts
Dear Waze Team,
The current Waze speeding threshold (first photo) only allows alerts at or above the speed limit (e.g., 0, 5, 10 km/h above), which doesn’t account for discrepancies between vehicle speedometers and Waze’s speed readings. In my country, exceeding the limit by even 1 km/h (e.g., 101 km/h on a 100 km/h road) results in a ticket. However, Waze’s speed often reads lower than my vehicle’s speedometer—sometimes by 10 km/h—due to location accuracy and calibration differences. With Waze set to alert “at speed limit,” I receive no warning until my vehicle speedometer hits around 110 km/h, leading to…1 vote -
Why did you get rid of the 'animals' on the side of the road?
Why did you get rid of the 'animals' on the side of the road? I now have to alert people about deer, etc by clicking on the general 'hazard'

Link Google place to a residential place in Waze
Many addresses in the Google Maps are marked far away from real locations, and it badly affects user experience in Waze. Today we only can link such wrong addresses to public places in WME. It will be more reasonable to allow linking them to residential places.

Voice Updates
For reporting of Voice Updates of Hazards etc, the button should be bigger and should not conflict with other buttons or map options, if possible if we speak like "waze" and then report a hazard etc this should work with voice command without pushing any buttons

Enable merging residential places
Today we cannot directly merge two residential places (or merge a residential place into a public one). There is a workaround: convert residential places to public ones, save them, merge, then convert back to residential if needed. Why not allow merging the direct way?

NOMBRE CALLE
Seria muy interesante que Waze, pusiese la calle por la que uno circula cuando no llevas un destino fijado.
Como si lo hace cuando llevas una ruta estableciada
Supongo que no seria dificil, si ya lo hace al llevar un destino marcado
Gracias

Option to Avoid Specific Places or Intersections
It would be very helpful to have the ability to mark specific places, roads, or intersections that users want to avoid — like setting a "do not route through here" point. Waze could then calculate routes that steer clear of those areas.
The current issue is that Waze often reroutes dynamically while driving. Even if I start on a preferred route, I sometimes follow Waze's updated instructions and end up passing through places I was specifically trying to avoid. This can be frustrating — especially in countries where some intersections or roads are known to be dangerous, either due to…
