Please can you introduce sub and sub-sub folders etc. for saved places.
It would be great to be able to have and categorise sub folders with labels such as restaurants, hospitals, friends, clients etc.. These might be further nested to a higher level by area, county or country for example.
It is really very cumbersome to scroll through hundreds of saved places to find the one I want. When I travel abroad I have different countries places all mixed together in one long list. With nested sub folders, finding a particular saved place could be done in mere seconds.19 votes -
Issue Tracker: Stop defaulting to All Issues - remember last saved filter selected
If you don't have a Pinned Save Filter, Waze should remember the last Save Filter selected rather than reverting back to "All Issues".
If I'm working on a Saved Filter, and need to refresh, it's more than likely I want to continue working on that same filter afterwards.

the ability to exit navigation without shutting down the app
just allow us to exit the navigation to and choose a new place instead of the app closing and have to open it again

"Take me back the same way I came!" Garmin has such an option and it is very useful, especially when the driver gets lost. It can be turned on and off at will.

Excluding Specific Road Types in Polygons Based Events
I would like to propose an improvement to the "Polygons Based Events" by adding an option to exclude certain types of roads, similar to the school zone alerts.
In my case, I want to set up a PBE for major roadworks, but a highway crosses at a lower level and will be notified of this event even though it is not affected.

Allow editing TBR of segments covered by Junction Boxes
If a segment is fully or partially covered with a JB, we cannot add, remove or modify time-base restrictions for it. The only way to do that today is to delete JB, to edit TBR, and then to create JB anew. This limitation seems excessive.

When reporting traffic jam other drivers should be able to say "Not There" whenever it clears up
There are sometimes warnings for a traffic jam with slowness or standstill and the traffic has cleared up, however it seems to stay there on the map for ages.
This needs to be prompted to the users in the same way. Asking "Still there?"

Why did you get rid of the 'animals' on the side of the road? I now have to alert people about deer, etc by clicking on the general 'hazard'

edit geometry/allow saves whilst adding closures
be able to edit geometry of segments that have active closures, as currently to edit geometry (without affecting node id) is to remove closure edit geometry and then re-add closure. as well as that allow the ability to add closures whilst having unsaved edits.

Que seja aceito a edição online do mapa, para percurso definido pelo usuário, e não somente pelo caminho que o app entende por melhor, pois há vias que, mesmo mais longas e com pedágios, são melhores que as usuais!

Allow combining chargers when merging EVCS
When merging EVCS, give users the option to include both sets of chargers. For some reason, some networks (ahem, ChargePoint) sometimes list multiple charger sites in the same parking lot or garage. If we try to merge them, we have to select one or the other set of chargers. Please add an option to include both sets.

Show only active closures
In the layers menu, under closures, there should be an "Only active" option. When this is enabled, only active closures will be shown in the WME. This would make the WME look "cleaner" and uncluttered.

copy/paste for turn closures / RTC on turns

We need a copy/paste feature for turn closuresIf you have to setup more than one turn closure, you have to enter description, start/stop date, start/stop time and MTE every single time.
On a closed segment next to a T junction you have to set 4 turn closures, on a + junction 6 times.Why is it better to close e.g. 4 turns than the segment?
If the segment is closed Waze will route you the node that is closer to your destination. Maybe this is the closed junction you don't wanna go through.…68 votesGreat timing! We’re currently working on copy/paste for turn closures / RTC on turns. Keep an eye out for updates on the WME

Resumen de viaje
Sería muy útil que al final de cada viaje aparezca un resumen con la distancia recorrida, el tiempo de viaje total, la velocidad máxima y la velocidad promedio del viaje. Dado que con frecuencia repetimos los viajes, p.e. de la casa al trabajo y la ruta inversa, también podría incluir un comparativo de distancia y tiempo para esa ruta.

I just thought it'd make sense to switch the icons around because as a right hand side drive, I want my speed closer to my eye line.

Holiday based turn/traffic restrictions on Japan
Traffic/turn restrictions for holidays have not yet been implemented in Japan.
Please support Japanese national holidays.If Sunday becomes a national holiday, Monday falls under the holiday in lieu, etc. There are detailed rules. The dates that fall under holidays are listed in the following law

Possibility for editors to create map update requests, for changes that need higher level editors.
Many times I can see needed changes or map problems that are prohibited for my level to edit or fix. But there is no option to report these issues to the higher levels, inside the map editor.
Should I have to drive there and create a map issue report?9 votes
