  1. voice controll over waze

    Voice controll when waze is on and the voice controll is on as well.
    Just say "Waze danger", it will ask what kind of danger, you say on road it confirm you say after that car stop, or wheather, fog... etc...
    It recognise the item and ask to confirm, you say yes and you made a sign without to watch and manual input the danger.

    My suggestion would be to include the locations for AEDs (lay defibrillators). Because it is very helpful in an emergency.

  3. Sound alert for all speed cameras on route.

    warning sound for all speed cameras on route. Now some have and some dont. Some cameras have voice alert and some just on screen warning. Best to have a sound or voice warning for all cameras on route

  4. copy/paste for turn closures / RTC on turns

    new turn closures feature in WME:
    We need a copy/paste feature for turn closures

    If you have to setup more than one turn closure, you have to enter description, start/stop date, start/stop time and MTE every single time.
    On a closed segment next to a T junction you have to set 4 turn closures, on a + junction 6 times.

    Why is it better to close e.g. 4 turns than the segment?
    If the segment is closed Waze will route you the node that is closer to your destination. Maybe this is the closed junction you don't wanna go through.…

  5. Recategorizing UR's when solving

    Add a feature to WME to recategorize the Solved UR's when closing those. This would give Waze a true insight of what reports are really needed and vice versa, what are rare and could actually just be within General Error category etc. Based on my research of all Solved UR's in Finland for last 3 months only about 50% were in right category.

    In my opinion this would help to reduce and refocus UR categories to better match with reality which in turn helps users when they are reporting meaning less UR's with wrong category -> Better data and better…

  7. Road layer: if disabled, enable when clicking an issue tracker koi suggestion, not after accepting/rejecting

    When a user decides to have the road layer off, there is probably a good reason for that / he knows how to turn it back on when he wants to.
    It would make more sense to enable it when the user first clicks on the suggestion on the issue tracker, not when one gets accepted (I think it's not needed, but it would be more beneficial for the unlikely use case "the user switched off the road layer by mistake, is not realizing it and now wants to add segments that are already there

  8. don't allow dirt roads

    I wish when I select "Don't allow" dirt roads it would navigate the route with the least possible dirt roads. It still routes me over dirt if it's a better route but don't allow to me means don't allow not avoid. I understand if the destination but it should still find the route with least dirt.

  9. Allow closing/seeing closures on red turns

    Why?
    I got a UR with: from here you can only turn right.
    - I changed the wrong turns from green to red.
    - I would like to close the one I changed to have the change effective immediately instead of the next map update.

    The same is currently possible for one-way segments (you can close the other direction).

    how come there is a waze map editor button in this drop down? and a duplicate of live map under it and also in the bottom right? i think the bottom right should be removed along with the waze map editor button?

    I would like to see Waze add 3D building views and Stoplights and stop signs, and allow compass to be shown in Carplay.

  14. Category for map issues

    I was driving the other day and the speed limit indicated by Waze was incorrect. I went to the map issue button in the car, but that was not one of the options for telling what the problem with the map was. The editor who handled my problem then needed to contact me just to find out what the problem with the map was. While I don't mind the contact, it would have quicker and easier for everyone if a speed limit change was an option. Where I'm currently living there is a housing boom. As new subdivisions go up,…

    The places of the Category "Charging Station" have the field “Located in venue”. The same field should be added to public places of other categories.

  17. could you add the option of weather report while searching for the right trip?

    it would be great to know the weather on the optionnal road i would drive, could help me to decide wich is better, especially while driving a motorcycle

  18. AGGIORNAMENTO ANDROID AUTO

    Ciao! non so se è una particolarità solo mia oppure no , notavo utilizzando l applicazione da android auto non è sempre in linea con lo smartphone, manca sempre qualcosina anche una cosa banale come impostare le voci.
    Sarebbe davvero eccellente se riportasse tutte le opzioni dello smart.

  19. Zoom in to selected map suggestion

    When we select a map suggestion in the Issue Tracker, the map is centered on the suggestion, but the zoom level isn't changed. The map should zoom in to the suggestion.

  20. wme - editor profile - viewability?

    hi.

    it would be nice if we could either allow or disallow other users from viewing our editor profile, this is because of safety of where certain editors may try to find where a user lives. (exemptions would be the countries co-ordinators and waze staff).
