Excluding Specific Road Types in Polygons Based Events
I would like to propose an improvement to the "Polygons Based Events" by adding an option to exclude certain types of roads, similar to the school zone alerts.
In my case, I want to set up a PBE for major roadworks, but a highway crosses at a lower level and will be notified of this event even though it is not affected.

Allow comma character (,) to house numbers in segments
We have thousands of addresses of places on highways in our country that are identified by kilometers, so throughout the segment we find addresses numbers like: KM 18,5
This is necessary to have more accurate routes and I believe it applies to other countries.11 votes -
Make the WME Error Messages more user friendly
It would be handy if WME was more detailed in all the error messages.
Like it could at least take you to them so you can see what the issue is and also allow you to easily remove those edits causing the error if you don't have the permissions to make it or someone else has edited the element before you got to it.
The warning notifications haven't really been touched since I started editing and a lot of the time they're not as helpful.
User lukewsaunders even mentioned "for a beginning editor the warnings aren't very helpful and are…

House number change history
When selecting a house number the interface no longer shows who last modified the house number. History on the segment doesn't always show what was change (it might show added or deleted, but not moved or edited). Segment history needs to have more detail on what was done.

House number layer should disable
With the new house number editing flow, once you edit a house number and leave house number editing, the House Number layer remains active. The layer should return to disabled if it was disabled before editing the house number.

House number editing no longer shows reason for HN error
With the recently released change to how we edit house numbers, we no longer see information of why there is a problem (wrong side, already exists, etc). This functionality needs to be added back, or the actual error needs to be added to the error message, so we understand what the issue is.
Details were provided in this beta post.

Switch editor profile ROW/IL/NA
When an editor makes changes and we want to see what was done (usually flagged in the high volume report), senior editors will often check the editor profile. If that editor is from another environment (ROW visitor to NA, etc), and their last edits were in the home environment, we have no way to see what edits were made in our environment.
Please add an ability to change the edit history per environment. This could be a drop down on the environment currently displayed, or adding an environment option to the URL (env=usa).

WME Client simulator
With each additional functionality on WME (Paths / Far-Lanes / Jubra / Junction box / lanes / ....) gets increasingly difficult to map. This makes it more likely that us map editores will make some kind of mistake or don’t take something into consideration. Having a way to preview the changes before they are live on the map will made both editors and client less frustrated, with a more accurate map.

Partners polygon layer
Hello,
Thanks to the Waze for Cities program, we are happy to have more and more partners, either for road management (Connected Citizens) or for event management (Global Event Partners).
For those who do not know the details, you should know that a partner benefits from one or more polygons that characterize their rights area (data flows to or from Waze, closures, MTE).
The community being very involved, and always on the lookout for modifications to be made in WME, or closures to be programmed, it often happens that our closures or our editions conflict with their closures.

Public construction site road network editors
Creating an account for construction site managers to be able to add site road networks and speed limits within private construction sites. This would enable clear directions within private construction sites with detailed information including specific delivery locations, specific work zones or site offices, etc.
The feature could be made available per construction site to a selected manager and a secondary person under an approved waze editor who would validate additions / changes before they are published to ensure they are valid.
This could potentially also be a revenue stream as you could have a small subscription fee to enable…1 vote -

Hazards to include wildlife.
Kangaroo moose and deer are a bigger hazard to road users than pothole. Would be good to warn other drivers that they are on side of the road.

Editing Your Suggested Features
Waze Live Map lets you add a new place, but in some cases, your device might not record the correct place or coordinates. When you want to edit the suggested place by placing the location symbol in the correct place on WME, it doesn't let you edit and recommends that it can only be edited by a Level 2 or higher.
My idea is that it should let you edit your suggestion on WME regardless of your level, and then the reviewer can approve it.3 votes -

Complex intersection in WME / Intersección Compleja en WME
I suggest that the "Permanent Hazard > Complex Intersection" option should be restricted to connection nodes only, preventing its placement on segments. This will ensure accurate and consistent usage of the feature.
Sugiero que la opción "Peligro permanente > Intersección compleja" se limite únicamente a los nodos de conexión, evitando su ubicación en segmentos. Esto garantizará un uso preciso y consistente de la función.

Learn and adapt to sequential traffic light switching
In Germany, switching traffic lights in sequence is a common thing ("Grüne Welle" - green wave). At some intersections, it would be great if the sequencing pattern is recognized by an algorithm to guide wazers based on their position in the traffic light sequencing, i.e. that on a long straight, the signal to turn left is only active in the first 30sec after turning green.

Suburb borders that add suburbs to segments automatically
Right now, every time we make a new segment on the map, we have to assign it to a suburb manually. Not only is this tedious, but it's prone to mistakes by editors, especially when editing near a suburb border.
But, in many countries, suburbs have a fixed area, and all roads inside that suburb's area will be part of that suburb.
If map editors were able to simply define the borders of each suburb in a state or country, then Waze could automatically assign any segment to the correct suburb, just by checking which suburb's area the segment falls…
