   Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

   The speed is being tracked so the maps will be updated for the rest of the waze users to see as a whole. This is how you are able to see traffic spots.

    On Garmin GPS you have the option of viewing real time elevation. I have not found an app with this feature, but I believe Waze is the best option to have it added. :)
