    I like the option to "make primary": make the selected ALT-Name the primary name.

    Your first request has been implemented (direct editing of ALT-names).

    If this is a "Map Issue" that you added / initialted in the app, you can (& please do) reply via the app inbox. Else there is the link in the message sent to your Waze-linked email address. Select the WME (Waze Map Editor) lnk to see the issue where you reported it.

    maybe set the distance dependant on the density of the roads / road speed limit / road type? For Freeways, leave at 1km, on Local Streets 100 m.
