    Having made many, many, trips across time zones. it is really frustrating to have to mentally adjust the ETA to the destination time zone.

    Going from Chattanooga to Kansas City is tolerable, because the line is just west of Chattanooga, and I'm subtracting an hour. Going from Kansas City to Chattanooga is a different story. I have to keep mentally adding an hour to my ETA on an already long trip (14 hours, including stops), and I don't hit Eastern time until about an hour before I reach my destination.

    I have made other trips across other time zones, and west to east is especially frustrating because it has the mental effect of "lengthening" the trip. Please have the ETA match local time at the destination! (Airlines do it all the time.)

    Workarounds to handle situations where only a shield is displayed at intersections, yet the whole rest of the road goes by a local name are a nuisance. If the app displays both, these time-consuming workarounds won't be necessary.

    Not having this ability makes it really tricky to add city names to the map in Laos. Please give us this ability . . . and the ability to name the fields the way that makes sense in the country we are working in.

    It might also be useful for trouble-shooting problems like UR’s in situations where BOTG is not an option.

    It is frustrating to have bunches of GPS arrows covering up segments . . . yet the GPS arrows are helpful in determining where the segment should be, especially if it is different from satellite imagery.

    Not having this information (imagery date) obviously available has long frustrated me. SV shows it; why not satellite imagery?

    I had not thought of this before, but it would certainly make our lives, as editors, much easier when we are adding a bunch of same-type roads. It is really frustrating (not to mention time consuming) to have to change a whole slew of segments from "street" to whatever else they should be.

    The one "downside" I can see to this would be if we forget to uncheck the box changing the road type . . . but, I guess the first segment of a different type that we draw and save will jostle our memories when it isn't the type we expect it to be. (If I'm adding a LS, and [after I save it] it shows up as MH, for example. I would only have to see that once to remind me to uncheck that exception box.)

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
