More complex than I'd come here to suggest (I just wanted an option to report temporary lights) but this makes a lot of sense.

I'd like to support this - last winter Waze led me to a closed road (probably because Waze makes it so difficult for Waze users to feedback when a road is closed), and then led me along terrible, untreated roads for what ended up being one of the worst journeys I've ever driven.
I can only imagine how difficult it would be to implement, but some way of helping users avoid hilly and steep roads in those conditions too.
One possible solution might be to have a toggle-able option for users to switch on, which only takes them along roads other Waze users have recently travelled along at a reasonable pace...

Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year. We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.

This would be handy - it would be great if it could have some fuel consumption reporting feature.
Also, I would like to be able to tell Waze what remaining range my car is stating there is left before I need to refuel. I'd then like Waze to suggest the best place (the least distance off my route, but within the remaining range of the car) where I should refuel.
