An error occurred while saving the comment To re-reward and motivate all Waze users, I propose two changes:
* Restore points for driving: I suggest awarding a small, fixed number of points (e.g., 1 point for every mile or kilometer driven). This symbolic reward would acknowledge the contributions of drivers who provide daily traffic data without engaging in map editing.
* Introduce a dual ranking system: Instead of one general ranking, I propose creating two independent leaderboards:
* Driver Ranking: Based exclusively on points earned from driving and reporting road incidents (e.g., accidents, police patrols, potholes).
* Editor Ranking: Based on points earned from editing maps, verifying data, and correcting errors. -
