Day / Night detemination in New Zealand
Day / Night / Auto mode observation: I am in New Zealand. I have noticed that the waze iOS app thinks that it is night time until 12noon when Waze suddenly realises that it is the middle of the day and that it should really be displaying day time mode.
This suggests to me that the algorithm associated with determining day/night time is not properly considering timezones.
The apps should be taking local time, and only local time to determine day/night mode. And allowinging in sunride/sunset should be region sensitive.The fact that it currently changes at 12noon does suggest…

If going from/to work/home on preferred route, set audio to "alerts only".
We all go from work/home several times a week, usually by a preferred route, unless there's some traffic jam. I would like that the default audio setting is "alerts only" if I'm driving the route I know REALLY well. If it's rerouting me from my preferred route due to some event, then use whatever method is set for the client.

Enable/disable "Standby" via slide lock or confirmation pop-up.
The new "Standby" function is not as friendly as I thought it would be. Lets say you've arrived at your destination and have placed Waze on standby and a few seconds later, you realize that you've got a new destination you want check up on (ETA? Location?) or you just want check your settings...
ERRR!
In order to access anything on the Waze app, it will trigger your device's GPS feature and if not mindful, your battery will pay the price (drain!).Lie my subject title suggests... a slide-to-confirm standby, ON/OFF button, would be great.

Show password criteria when asking for password
Will not accept my password even after numerous attempts to put in new passwords. Could this be because password does not meet criteria? Have put in 7 letters with 1 number and have tried with caps etc. Cannot log in.

Longitude and latitude is the most accurate way to find a location and leading you to. It is particular useful if you are out of city.
Hope Waze could search by longitude and latitude point and show a point by longitude and latitude. This is useful when you are not in city area, for example, hiking in a forest area.

QR Car Adhesive
Hello! I'm from Brazil and I would like to suggest to Waze create a type of QR car adhesive in order to expand the relationship with those are stuck in the traffic. This adhesive could be the image of the users avatar's. The driver pick-up the QR code in the car nearby from him, take a pic and than, post it in waze. Waze get's the contact and let they talk. It could solve a problem of mine, cause every time I wonder somebody is near of me, just to get in touch, they disappear from my screen.

The notification time of traffic incidents, police, etc has been cut to .2 mile way too short
What has happened from over the weekend i start using today again 9/3/13 and i getting road incidents .2 miles before the are there at 70mph that is just seconds.... need update at least .5 prefer 1.mile notice.

Can we get Car/Bumper stickers so we can see other Wazers on the road while driving
When I see other Wazers on the map it is difficult to see them on the road. It would be good to acknowledge each other as this a community project. So some sort of Waze sticker would be good

When you're driving it's handy to know where a highway police station along the highway is, that's where police activity is usually highest

Send the driver intermittent reminders to do Kegel exercises!
Kegel exercises consists of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor. THese are easy to do, and benEficial in both men and women. Kegel exercises may be beneficial in treating urinary incontinence in both men and women and can increase sexual gratification in men and women.These exercises are easy to do...but just as easy to forget to do. I am suggesting that there be an option that WAZE reminds the driver to squeeze! I drive so much, and reminder to do my Kegels would come in handy!

Update the Reports list screen without having to leave it and display it again
I like to use the report list view instead of the map view. The distances to the reported items should be updated in real time as I am getting nearer or further. Currently the list is static.

Show layby's on roads
I needed to stop the other day and wanted to know where the next layby was. Would be nice to be able to turn on or off on ther maps.

Turn reminder if been on road with no turns for a while
I was on a road that had no turns for about 10 miles and then missed my turn as had not looked at Waze for some time. I have notifications off but thought would be a good idea to set Waze so that if you have not turned for some time could get it to make a noise or something to remind you of the turn up ahead.

Toll roads
When entering in a destination, please put the toll roads option there instead of in the settings. I am a driver in New York City. All day long, I would need to go into settings and check/uncheck toll roads. When I drive a passenger, of course, all the toll roads are taken, but when returning, I avoid as much as possible. Please change the tolls feature to somewhere when entering in the destination. Thank you

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.

Route info on widget
Currently the widget displays time to work or home and gives some indication of the traffic conditions. I wish it would show something about which route it chose for that info without having to click the Drive! button.

I do not like the new sleep feature! I want to be able to turn waze OFF! Please switch it back
I like the old feature allowing us to turn waze off when we get to our destination, not the sleep mode. Can you please put back the option to turn off waze
