  1. To solve the bug that cuts out the sound for directions

    There is this bug that When you have Waze downloaded for a while the navigation sound just goes for some reason, please can this be sorted or looked into to resolve this bug?

    Add "Truck" as an additional hazard icon. I just saw an 18 wheeler last night entering the entrance to the North Bronx River Parkway just 100 feet from going under a low bridge.

  4. I got rear ended tonight thanks to Waze putting agressive drivers on my street. Waze is evil

    Small country roads off of major roads cannot take lots of left turn traffic, especially with aggressive drivers trying to caboose behind another car to turn left onto a busy road where traffic travels fast aroud a curve. Waze is unsafe and causes accidents!

    Olá!
    Gostei muito da ideia de vocês, com relação ao "Waze Carpool", porém vejo uma situação da qual muitas mulheres ficam incomodadas pela falta de segurança e diversas vezes passo por lugares onde têm ponto de ônibus em que a mulher está sozinha e em alguns casos uma mulher e um ou mais homens, sendo que a mulher fica afastada com receio de algo com relação a este ou o grupo de homens.
    Fui procurar outros aplicativos que trabalham com caronas e até encontrei outro já com disponibilidade de carona apenas com mulheres, tanto a motorista como as passageiras, então…

  6. Default Icons for Common Selections on main selection screen instead of going through menu selections

    Allow users to create defaults for commonly used selections.

    Example, when car is located on a route on the side of the road, you have to select hazard -> on shoulder -> vehicle stopped.

    Would be nice to have the button vehicle stopped on main screen as it is one of the most common selections I choose.

    Dear Waze team, my name is Alexander and I work for the NGO ESJF which job consists of mapping process of Jewish cemeteries in eastern Europe (Slovakia, Moldova, Lithuania, Ukraine, Greece). At this moment I'm looking for a way to share data that we have collected (GPS coordinates of new discovered cemeteries) to make it more public available and attract more attention to the Jewish cemeteries.     Why I waze so trficulously far off on a 220 mile trip? Waze says 169 miles from Coos Bay Oregon to Portland..... Waze is wrong by 50 miles! Is this air miles?

  11. Navigation does not default to the closest result

    For example, if I'm looking for a local credit union I can tell Waze to search for it, but the result may be something a thousand miles away in New York instead of something in my own county. If I look for a restaurant it may gave me the corporate office in another state instead of one 5 miles away. The problem is exacerbated with the voice dictation system which blocks the results with the keyboard even though you're using voice dictation. You can never trust the results because you are not assured that Waze is sending you to the…

  12. Speed camera and I keep entering it with no luck

    There is a speed camera on Willets point Boulevard and 148th St., Whitestone, NY 11357 I try to add it but it still does not pop up and I see people get hit left and right with the Waze app what is it gonna take I do it almost every day and still no luck

  13. Stop the limits

    When I tried to report potholes (there were a lot of them), in order to report accurate information to the Public Works department, so they could fix it the issue.
    When is this going to be updated, so that anyone can report as many potholes as there are in reality?
    It would be nice to be able to have direct contact to Public Works departments as well, so they could know about the issue. The report should stay on the map for everyone to know, until the problem is actually solved (pothole filled up to quality standard specification).

  15. The Green line - (Energy/ Gasoline)

    The green line- When a Wazer checks optional routes (and also in the preferences/initial destination route) the most energy efficient route shall be marked as the "Green Line".The Wazer should provide Waze with its car model, design, and year so Waze could calculate the energy consumption.There is a difference between the routes because of distance, time, type of ride etc.At the end of the ride the Wazer will be provided with estimated carbon footprint.From Waze perspective - much more data... and from there you can think about many products and ways to monetize it

  17. Would like carpool system for non-commute activities

    We need a way to connect people in carpools who are going to the same hike or outing, or perhaps a concert or performance. Different from a commute carpool in that each occasion is unique.
    People in outdoor organizations care about their carbon footprint, yet unless they are actual friends with someone they usually don’t have a way to arrange rides or carpooling.

    It would be great to be able to have each club sponsor/pay for Waze and enable all their members planning to go on a specific outing to connect with each other to arrange to carpool. Setting up…

  20. Display High Crash Locations

    Would it be possible to display high crash areas on my display? We see traffic jams, and shorter routes and even speed traps ahead on my device. Maybe you can show high crash areas ahead as well.
    The information is free and attainable in Maine. Is this something Waze would like to explore?
