Police on East Coast using Waze?
My friends and I, spread out in a few states on the east coast have noticed the police are using waze and Untagging themselves at the location of speed traps. This actually has been confirmed by an officer in Central New Jersey. Since many Waze users use the app for the police notifications I suggest in order to remove a police notification 2-3 DIFFERENT waze users must hit "not there"... I would seriously consider adding this sooner than later, maybe in the next update

Zoom function on ETA accepted maps
Provide zoom function to permit ETA recipient the option to keep the map zoom setting at a specific level. The map continues to default to the most local level, making it difficult to find the ETA sender on the map.

Automatic start Waze when connect to car bluetooth (and turn off when blutetooth is off)
Automatic on/ off waze when connect to paired bluetooh adapter.
This is best way to have waze on when is needed in car.
Leave the car - waze goes off.

ergonomy suggestion
On map screen, the arrival time is with BIGGER characters than the distance to the next turn (left up corner) and with a weaker contrast. I'm a bit old, I can see the arrival time very clearly, but it is not the MAIN information I need.
The next turn distance is a bit difficult to read for me and necessits attention. I would prefer to see clearly and quickly the next turn distance.5 votes -
Display the ratio of alcohol/gasoline prices for flexible fuel cars...
Most flexible fuel cars present a 70% ratio between gasoline and alcohol fuel economy. Displaying this number on the fuel prices screen would allow drivers to better decide between which one of the fuels to use.

Alerts
I think the alerts of radar ahead or law enforcement ahead (no sure of the actual terminology) should be deleted. With so many law enforcement shootings this lets those wanting to do harm to them know exactly where they are.

Eu acho interessante que fosse possível escolher o tipo do veiculo e, quando moto, ignorar regras de rodízio, escolher sempre a rota mais curta e, na marginal Tietê, manter a rota pelas pistas central e local, pois, é proibido veicular com moto na pista expressa3 votes -
Waze felhasználása vezérlésre
Mivel a navigáció pontos hely adatokkal rendelkezik, ezért fel lehetne használni gépjármű, más eszközök vezérlésére. Így például mivel a KRESZ 44 § 8. bekezdése alapján "Lakott területen kívüli úton a forgalomban részt vevő gépkocsit nappali menetjelző lámpával vagy tompított fényszóróval ki kell világítani" igy erre való figyelmeztetés vagy vezérlést be lehetne építeni a szoftverbe. Ugyanígy elterjedt ha valaki hazaér akkor egy x km körben "vezérlőjelet" küldjön ki a navigáció a garázs/kertkapu nyitására. Ez a vezérlés akár történhet valami bluetooth-os wifi-s, de akár ma újra népszerű Tone-DTMF adatátvitel segítségével is.

Set final the destiny in behalf of another user who is driving
My wife was driving and she could not change the place where I would like to meet her. My suggestion is to allow people within agenda set the final destiny in behalf of the user who is unable to change the destiny.

Allow permanent comments to be attached to objects (roads, places) i the map editor to pass information to Future Editors to understand why something was done in a certain way, or assumptions made by the editor when a edit is done.

Niles Canyon Advisory for Friday Outbound from Fremont
FYI...If your app considers Niles Canyon an alternate route out of Fremont on Friday Afternoons - Fahgedaboudit! the backup starts at 2:30 pm and by 3:30 pm it's a nightmare. I drive through Niles canyon as part of my commute. On Fridays, I've noticed that the backup for cars wanting to turn right from Mission Blvd into the canyon is quite extreme to the point that cars are using 2 lanes to make the right turn in. This is adding to the slowdown in the canyon itself and at times the intersection gets blocked and cars want to turn left…

How about a map legend (or explanation)? I'm not sure what some of the symbols (like the red-and-white striped bar) mean, or how the road colors are defined
