More control for emergency workers and traffic management
I'm a press photographer in the Netherlands and I see a lot of incidents for my work. By adding some tools, workers on the road can easily report problems and even instructions. For an example: When an accident happens there is sometimes a lot of debris on the road, even though some lanes are still open it's possible that there is debris on those lanes. By adding information, drivers can better adapt to the situations. Limit traffic alerts to same country/smaller area
There's no point in showing alerts from 2000+ km away. Most people are only interested in alerts in their immediate area.

Enable suggestions for change in traffic organization
Via the Waze app, I can now report traffic-jams, crashes, police patrol, etc. Adding a new category "suggestion for a change in traffic organization" adressed to local municipality might be a benefit. I could suggest changes as "there should be a full line in the middle of this section to avoid collisions" or "that street should be one way" or "build a round-about in here" or "U turns should be allowed here". A new camera type: Traffic offence cameras
In Hong Kong, we have "traffic offence cameras" (交通違例相機, in Chinese) that capture any cars pursuing an illegal manoeuvre, like crossing double-white lines that shall not be crossed, or unlawfully stopping or parking at no-stopping or no-parking areas.
May I know if Waze could add this type of cameras to the system? I believe these cameras are not exclusive to Hong Kong but present in many territories, including Japan, China, Taiwan and others. The issue currently in Waze is that the types of cameras are too specific, but quite oftenly there is just a camera to capture any sort…

Tarhe Traffic (road limitation) in Tehran, Iran
Basically there are limitations on roads that you can have access to during the day in Tehran, Iran. There are areas that you can access only if you have the permit for the day and there are areas that you can access based on your plate ending number. So for example if you have even number ending plate then you can pas from these areas only on even days of the week.
These are issues that waze does not put into consideration while it is navigating and you can easily get fined by passing from these areas automatically.

SPLIT: notify drivers of heavy traffic ahead of time and offer alternative routes
Another suggestion would be when the app sees there is heavy traffic well before and notifies the driver of different routes available due to the accident or whatever may be holding up traffic.

Contribution reward for driver who give way during heavy traffic
during heavy traffic jam, driver hit the gas & stop again, the traffic condition remain not smoothly for very long period.
can waze pop up a message to driver, drive slow to 20km/h(or some specific detected speed ) to keep distance with front car & change to slow lane. and who accept this get the reward.and always pop up a mesage teaching driver don't cruise at the fast lane, give way to other & collect reward when they accept
of course if gps can really detect the driver who really change lane, the reward ranked are much valuable

Want to hear Chloe from "24" tell Jack how to beat traffic!
Jack Bauer relies on Chloe to get him out of a jam, even traffic jams so I think it would be great to have "24" navigation. I think both actors would be for it to keep "24" going. They are looking to revamp "24" so maybe a new version after they change the leadership at some point.

companies working in the roadside should be able to create a certified account for reporting their own troublesome work traffic. With nature, the places, the expected duration etc.

Possibly Clear Up what is meant by the "Traffic Jam" reports
Instead of having "Moderate", "Heavy" and "Standstill", why not clarify these categories a little more. They could possibly be instead "Congestion", "Slow Down" and "Standstill". I think these adequately reflect the different degrees of traffic jams that occur. Congestion is still dangerous but might not reflect a great decrease in speed. When drivers will have to decrease their speed that is useful to know, and of course "Standstills" are self explanatory.
An alternative option could be to elaborate on the provided categories more instead of changing them. They just seem a little ambiguous.3 votes -

Disable query to driver of potential traffic/slow down when entering tunnel
GPS is commonly lost when entering tunnels. The app should disable asking the driver if they have encountered traffic and a slow down if the driver is in a tunnel.

Earlier notifications of traffic jams. Needs to be alerted minimum 15 miles before an incident
Sitting in a traffic jam of about 10 miles that could’ve been avoided by an earlier notification of an incident causing a major backup. Minimum alert of 15-20 miles. Germany has it with the autobahn.

Show traffic as a bar on car screen as it appears on phone screen
Currently traffic bars for various routes appear on phone screen but not on the car screen when using Carplay. Summary traffic bars for various routes is too valuable to not have

Traffic Delays and Saved Names
I’m hoping someone will assist me with an issue I experienced earlier this week with the time frame given for a traffic delay on Waze.
I was traveling along the R21 Highway between Pretoria and Johannesburg to get my boss to the airport when we hit traffic that indicated a 9 minute delay…After 20 minutes we checked on Google maps to see that the delay was more than 2 hours, I had to go offroad through some dodgy areas to actually get my boss to the airport on time.

App freezes when attempting to take picture of traffic condition.
There’s a serious bug in the app. Whenever I attempt to take a photo of a traffic condition, the entire app freezes. Please fix this bug.

Turn traffic, ability to report and to use in navigation
There must be an option to report traffic for a specific turn. The reason is that a given road may be moving well through an intersection, but specifically a left turn lane onto an intersecting road can be jammed. In such a case the navigator won't use that road to turn left and find another route.
As an example. Let's say I am driving on Main St and there are 3 intersecting roads coming up, Street 1, Street 2, and Street 3. My destination is at Street 2, where I need to turn left from Main St. Waze doesn't know…
