In motorcycle mode make all choice options timed so they go away without need to press an option (not possible while riding, or in gloves)
New route available options make Waze useless on a motorcycle. They cover the speedo and cannot be selected without stopping, removing glove and pressing a choice. I had to stop three times today. I have a bluetooth controller on the bike but that seems to get disabled when these announcements appear so stopping is the only option. I am using the motorcycle mode with motorcycle selected as my vehicle.

Better control of how information is displayed.
New release has White notifications on a Light Blue background. I can't read it. Need some contrast, letter outlines, drop shadow, different colors...something.

Ambulance
Good morning. Thank you for your application. I have a suggestion. I am a paramedic and like many paramedics we use your application to respect speed limits and pay attention to control zones. Would it be possible to add an ambulance vehicle and if possible a quickest route for the ambulances taking into account the size of the ambulances. Thank you in advance for considering my proposal.

Events should have more control over closures
Since events don't always start on time and rarly end on time, there should be an easier way to update all closures:
A. After defining the dates & times of an event, all closures will inharit it name and times. This will save most of the work handling a large event.
B. Closures who are part of an event will not get deleted when their time is up, but will stay "inactive" for at least a week.

keyboard shortcut
It would be nice to implement native iOS keyboard shortcuts. Like the Apple Maps app which supports:
CMD + for Zoom In
CMD - for Zoom OutAnd maybe add support for the use of arrow keys to move the map around. CMD UPARROW/DOWNARROW etc.
Another handy one would be a combination to recenter the map.
I am using an iPad for navigation and I'm building a bluetooth remote control :-)

Provide degree of confidence of route suggestions
When choosing a route, I would like to see a degree of confidence that I will arrive at the time specified. More of them than not, I arrive at my destination several minutes after the original estimate due to building traffic, getting stuck at lights, etc. This especially occurs during rush hour traffic. If the app offered a level of confidence based on the proposed routes then I would feel like I have more control over my route. Improve!!
The app was amazing for the time 4 years ago... Stop taking all the data and using it for gmaps and not reciprocating by putting some money into map control and manipulation. The finger pinch zoom is horibble to put it lightly! It seems from a user's point of view that the relationship between Google and Waze is like a child who eats all of the frosting off a cupcake and leaves the rest for his dad to eat. Ya it will fill him up but looks like shit and doesn't taste as good as it could!

Voice control for alerts - both acknowledging and reporting
To Avoid looking at screen to acknowledge or report warning. Tap screen anywhere and say ‘waze. Accident. Or waze traffic standstill or waze still there or waze no longer there. Looking at picking lists while driving is not a good idea I feel

"Always Avoid This Intersection"
Waze needs an "Always Avoid This Intersection" feature.
Waze consistently routes me to turn left at a traffic light at an intersection that has 6 lanes of traffic merging into a single lane to get on to a freeway which is also controlled by a traffic light. The congestion there is ALWAYS terrible and easily adds 20 minutes to my commute. Users with local knowledge should be able to specify intersections to avoid at all times. More control for emergency workers and traffic management
I'm a press photographer in the Netherlands and I see a lot of incidents for my work. By adding some tools, workers on the road can easily report problems and even instructions. For an example: When an accident happens there is sometimes a lot of debris on the road, even though some lanes are still open it's possible that there is debris on those lanes. - I think, Waze designed to.guide us using fastest route, to cross a busy street Melrose for example, instead of leading us to a traffic light controlled street where we can have our legal turn to cross Melrose. or make a left or right turn. Motorcycle based map and speed display scale and legibility.
I have 5" carplay units on both of my motorcycles. (no this is not a display size issue). My preferred map software in carplay, is Waze, as I want the most crowdsourced information such as cops, traffic, construction, etc. My only problem on the motorcycle with carplay/Waze display is that the map is way too FINE and small print, the speed is too small, and red/black which are fairly impossible to read as they're both dark colors.

Up until this month I was able to set the sound choice easily before starting a route, now I can't. This means if I'm looking at a route in a crowd before setting off I am stuck with whatever the last setting was. Often this means it starts blabbing away disturbing people. Revert to having the speaker icon visible on app start.

A way th control texting and driving at same time.
We were using Waze for first time today, I was driving and wife was on phone. She was unable to type anything in since car was moving and suggested we stop to input info. This technology should be marketed to the phone companies, which would block people texting and driving at same time. It could save many lives and countless injuries if adapted to all phones.
