Allow negative speed offset (reduce the speed warning threshold)
It It would be really helpful if Waze allowed us to adjust the speed offset in both directions — not only to add km/h, but also to subtract.
In my case, my car’s speedometer consistently shows 5 km/h faster than the real speed shown in Waze/GPS. I tested this many times and it’s always the same difference.
Because of this, I’d like to set the speed alert to something like:
✅ “Warn me when I’m less than 5 km/h below the speed limit”

Waze on android auto route issue
The recent update on waze for Android auto no longer lets me choose which location after I voice command a destination. If I say, "take me to AutoZone" and I'm 5 miles from one it often just starts my route to one in a completely different city. I've even had it route me to a different state! Re-Organize Speed Trap Buttons
When editing the map a lot of stationary speed traps are reported but not approved. They are reported on positions where mobile speed traps (Police notifications) are / would be. As a user who only uses the client I would first go to speed trap and report it instead of reporting a police hazard. The result is, that this trap is not reported unless it is approved. Android Auto Black Buttons
Please get rid of the black buttons. The black buttons are awful. Hard to believe iOS users have a better UI than Android users when Waze and Android are owned by Google

Waze on Android Auto keeps freezing in the new updates.
Every time connected to Android Auto, it eventually will freeze, shut it down and relaunched only lasted few minutes and freezing again. This happened after the new updates.

Android Auto - quick actions
It would be nice to have the ability to create a "quick actions" group.
For example, to report the pothole I need to make three actions: 1) click on the "chat" button, 2) select "event on the road", and 3) "report a pothole". It's unsafe. If I would be able to add this action to the "quick actions", I would only need to click this button. It would be safer, and it would motivate users to report these problems more often. "Quick actions group" might be places next to the "chat" icon.26 votes -

I find the speed hard to read on my android when mounted to the handlebars on my bike. If the speed was larger, and with better contrast, especially the red on black, that would help a lot

alerts hide the permitted speed
When a warning approaches, be it a speed camera 300 meters away, the warning comes on and stays on for that distance, obscuring the correct speed on the map. I don't know if I'm exceeding the speed limit or approaching the camera at the speed limit.It happens with any alert (I have images.)

To be able to tap on the address on my calendar and have it connect to android auto to navigate right to that address. Rather than having to manually type it in on android auto

Combination Red Light & Speed Camera
In my area there are now red light cameras that are also speed cameras. Why is this relevant? Because if the light is STALE (green for a long period and may be turning yellow/red soon at some point) I and other drivers who are aware that the light may be turning red may speed up to avoid the possibility of a receiving a red light ticket. When you driving on a average speed zone than your left green panel what is showing the distance from average speed zone should show the speed too and the panel should change to red if the speed is more than the allowed average speed Also it should check the speed between one camera to the second one and not just from the first and last camera

Choose which side info boxes appear when using android auto
Hello!
So, the info boxes that show turns and warning only appears on the left hand side of the screen when using Android Auto. This means I have to glance further to see the actual map / route that I'm taking, which seems less safe, as I am driving on the left.
It would be great to have an option to choose which side to have the actual map and info boxes display, as people are using both right and left sides of the car when driving.
Changing the side in Android Auto settings itself does not affect this.…

With Android Auto : the position need to be read even in backplane !
To enable Waze on Android Auto, we need to disable the average energy consumption, because the position needs to be read in backplane.
The solution could be to enalbe Android Auto to read always the position, like Waze on the phone.

Put current speed on CarPlay Waze

Max speed!
For me, there's only one simple addition that would make Waze the perfect GPS. The ability to enter the max allowed speed for the vehicle. For truck-drivers, caravan-drivers e.g. you're not allowed to reach the max speed on motorways e.g., so you'll manually have to calculate the additional time to your destination. TomTomGO has this. Make it happen! :)
