  1. Better lane guidance

I like the idea of lane guidance but I would like it if it says stay in this or that lane instead of saying continue straight with arrows pointing up just like what Apple Maps does for example so that way people aren’t cutting across lanes of traffic which I see all the time and that includes turning left or right onto an intersection wether it has a traffic light or not I noticed Apple Maps for example says stay in the middle or left or right lane I would really like it if waze does what Apple Maps does…

  2. Mark bad quality road

There are so many roads witch are paved, but the quality is so awful, its more like driving on dirt road or trail. Would be great to mark bad quality roads so I could avoid driving there and save my car instead of braking it driving trough. Of course there should be an option to avoid bad quality roads also in the Waze app. I hope to see this feature in soon future. Best regards

  4. Option for avoiding hov

Why is Waze being so stubborn with not creating an option for AVOIDING HOV lanes, like the simple checkbox for avoiding ferries??? A solo driver CANNOT be in a HOV lane by themselves during rush hour .. why is this so difficult to understand??? But instead I have to see directions to either get into the hov when I can't, or out of it when I was never in it in the first place.... C'mon now.... Stop focusing on a 100 voice options (that you can't easily sample in advance of actually driving btw) provide simple common…

  6. Warn me when the estimated time of my commute (by a certain route) is taking longer than usual.

I prefer not to take toll roads. They're expensive. So, if my commute by normal roads is approaching 30 minutes (which is how long I give myself to get to work), I want to know, so that I can leave with enough time to make it there without paying for the toll road.

  7. Lane departure arrows

The lane departure arrow should be green for the departure lane and should flash as well to make it easy for the driver to spot which side to keep or go

  8. Entrance to GWB from Riverside Dr South in NYC, dangerous directions.

This entrance puts you in the left lanes of 6 lanes of ferocious traffic. Waze always recommends the Lower Level, which is the rightmost 2 lanes, and would require crossing several lanes of traffic in a very short distance - very dangerous. Waze should recommend the Upper Level which is directly ahead and requires no lane change. People not familiar with the area may attempt to follow the Lower Level directions which would lead to hazardous driving.

  9. Add a "Military" pass to the options

Just like there are toll passes, CAV decals, and other options, there should be a "Military" pass and the ability to set "Military" restrictions on segments. This would reduce the amount of through routing on military installations.

  10. Hi, we love using the Waze app for travelling where ever we are. However it would be great if there was a setting for avoiding minor roads

Hi, we love using the Waze app for travelling where ever we are.

However it would be great if there was a setting for avoiding minor roads or entering the size of vehicle. We occasionally tow a 7.5m caravan and last week when Waze re directed us due to heavy traffic we found ourselves in very narrow lanes with the caravan in tow - very stressful. A warning stating route unsuitable for large vehicles might even suffice?

Please can you consider this as an update.

    Many thanks

  11. Narrow street flags

Here in Pittsburgh, we're a city of hills, bluffs, and narrow, winding roads, and listening to Waze help navigate me has led to $400 in repairs and 3 near accidents in the past 2 months by taking me through poorly maintained streets and roads so narrow that, while not legally-required to be one way, nevertheless make for perilous travel with few opportunities to turn around and try another route.

If users or editors could flag narrow streets and if an option was labeled to avoid these streets, similar to the options to avoid toll roads, it would be a major…

At least give the driver a warning ⚠️ whenever the route is passing through the C roades

  14. always before a fork or road pre-selection, ie when you have to keep right with 2 parallel roads, it is ideal to mark the lane with flashin

always before a fork or road pre-selection, ie when you have to keep right with 2 parallel roads, it is ideal to mark the lane with flashing yellow so as not to create confusion on highways with two parallel lanes and you do not realize which you follow it because both are blue and it is difficult to drive and you will notice after 2 lanes having the same color that you have to follow.

  15. Option to save at least 2 user settings/profiles

I would want to see an option to save at least 2 user settings. I switch back and forth between a car and a motorcycle.

I prefer the back roads and avoid toll roads when I am on the bike. And of course, the opposite when I am in a car.

It's such a hassle having to change the settings each and every time.

I would sometimes wonder why it hasn't led me to a highway when I am in a car, or why it did when I am on a bike. Then realize that I forgot to switch the…

  16. Tagging the lane of an accident

It would be nice for users to have the ability to tag what lane(s) an accident is in when they report an accident. Often users add this information in comments, but that takes time and becomes hazardous to look through as you're driving.

  18. Waze has the framework to potentially help avoid chain reaction vehicle accidents

I have been studying chain reaction vehicle accidents for years and I belive that Waze may have most of the architecture already in place to alert drivers not yet at the accident scene to slow or stop, which would minimize or eliminate the wreckage, injuries and deaths that occur when low-visability causes vehicles to continue running into a crash site, creating a chain reaction accident. My request is to communicate with one of your engineers to discuss the concept.

  19. Free parking

I'm a volunteer at the smart campus in my university, and we are developing solutions to transport to/from our campus, hopefully making transit better in the surroundings as well. We'd like to feed waze's system with information about the parking lot occupation, to help students and teacher to fill in free parking spaces faster, and avoid lines in public street lanes, directly avoiding traffic jams.
