1. UK / Android camera notices need fixing.

   UK camera call outs have gone to pot.
   Static speed camera's are not 'Speed Trap's - a copper hiding behind a bush is a speed trap.
   Used to get "speed camera reported ahead"; now a really brusque "SPEED TRAP ahead".
   Average Speed Cameras are not true Speed Cameras and do not need calling out every 3 lamp posts.

   Can we also have the "Speed reduced ahead" warning back - really useful for the 70-40 mph drops.

3. Assign color to app in notification bar

   Is there a way to assign a color to the application when you drag down your notification bar on the android app? When you take a call and need to bring waze back up, it would stand out better with a color. Google maps has a color and is very easy to bring back while driving.

4. I'd like to be able to use the voice controls without breaking my ability to stay synced with itunes in my car

   if you use the "ok waze" feature, it breaks the itunes bluetooth sync with the car... and then you are required to jump through too many hoops to get your music back. would be nice if the hands free feature didn't break itunes

5. Add option to display Gas Stations (as clickable icons) on main map screen without having to use menu.

   Add the option to display gas stations on the main map as clickable icons, without having to go through the several menus (i.e. menu > gas > list > map... and all the way back) to visualize surrounding stations and return to main navigation map.

   Clicking the gas station icons on the main map view should allow users to "navigate" directly to the gas station and also update the fuel prices (if within range).

   Showing gas stations on the main map view has two main benefits:

   1. Updating gas prices to nearby stations becomes much easier.

   2. The user will have the option to always be visually informed of where the nearest gas stations (and washrooms) are while driving. It therefore allows the user to drive to a nearby gas station visually (without having to touch the device), or they can click the icon to navigate to it directly.

   Finally, if this is not feasible, I at least recommend having an option that makes the "Gas" menu selection show the gas stations in map view first (before list view). And also once in the "gas station" map view, there should be a quick way to get back to the main (navigation) map view. Currently you have to click three times (in the the top left) to get back to the main map view; on android this corresponds to clicking the < arrow next to "SEARCH RESULTS" then "AROUND YOU" then "NAVIGATE". That's far too much work just to get back and forth from the gas station map view.

6. Waze is too heavy on system resources, try to enhance memory usage

   Waze got very heavy on system resources lately. Crashing extremely often. We had 3 relatively modern Android (>=4.4.2) phones on board and only on 1 waze could calculate route before it crashed. On this one phone that could at least calculate route Waze crashed when any warning on map was pressed or when you checked what is ahead of you (when more parts of map were loaded at once). Waze also froze my phone very often even when it was just navigating (nothing was pressed on screen when phone froze). It all looked like OOM and extreme overhead problems. Back in its days Waze was awesome, running on everything. But now Waze feels like alpha version. Also new UI is tragic, excess of useless. We are very sad that we have to look for alternative.

   Not everyone have best-high-end golden phones, please keep it in mind when creating Waze. We could not send logs since it crashed too when button "send logs" was pressed.

   Technical info:
   All 3 phones had Android >= 4.4.2, from 512 to 1024 MB of RAM and we locked (disabled) all not needed apps (Messengers etc.) - it did not help much.

7. Show gas stations and preferred fuel price on Waze map

   Some GPS display petrol stations directly on the map, with the price of fuel framed with a color code to assess the cost (green: price ok, red: expensive).
   Is it possible to add this functionality on Waze and in particular by using it with Android Auto?

9. Android Auto Search Navigation is clunky

   When searching and entering in text (from phone or car), once you have presented a list of possibilities, in order to select one I have to press “Up” to get out of the text entry; this then selects the “task bar” so I press “Right” to get back to Waze; and then I have to dial down to the desired item before finally clicking on it. At the very least “Up” should exit the text entry and jump immediately to the first item on your list. Even better, something like “Down” could exit the text entry and automatically select the first item on the list.

11. Show the Road That The User is Currently Traveling On, In the Client (Tied into 'Where Am I' Feature Request)

    I think that this would be a great feature to have. On the Waze client, while using Waze, whether it be Android, iPhone, WM, etc... it would be nice to show the current road that you are currently on or traveling on. This is tied in to the feature request of something similar to TomTom's "Where Am I", but that is in another thread and I don't wish to take away from it.

    Basically, you get the idea. In implementing this, there are also "Road Aliases" to consider with Waze. For example, Main St (Alias: State Hwy 381) or Fayette Ave (Alias: State Rte 1098). I am unsure how Waze should implement it on the screen. Should it be a fixed showing with both, a scrolling marquee, or show one then the other in a fixed time frame?

    In respect to the posting alias road names that are important, Waze would have to fix some issues in their editor. If I connect a road to another road, creating an intersection in the straight road, sometimes the road posts the same road name twice. I then must leave Papyrus, go to Cartouche, delete BOTH road names, click save (blank road name field), enter the road name, then click save, to show the road without the duplicate same name attached. This could be possibly fixed if Waxe could implement a script to delete all duplicate road names in a segment prior to finalizing map tile updates. This would keep the editor and client clean from duplicates that could make the client messy looking.

    As you can see, there are some issues to resolve in implementing this feature but it would be a great feature to have.

    Olá pessoal do waze. Uso o app há muito tempo (Android). Agora com multimídia no carro (android), percebi que a leitura das informações na tela ficam prejudicadas. Minha sugestão é ajustar melhor o waze para multimídia centralizando e aumentando as informações principais. Aumentar também o velocímetro não seria nada mal. Fico no aguardo.

19. Fix map pan function on Android Auto for rotary/joystick control

    I drive a BMW i3. It uses a combination rotary control/joystick. Touchscreen is not available. I cannot pan the map when I select the panning function.

20. google assistant

    I have a Samsung S10+ with waze 4.59.0.4 (just downloaded it) and Android 10.

    I would like to use the Google Assistant but this option is not shown, I only have the Talk to Waze option.
