LInk up with Highways Management
HI Waze. I'm guessing you already have a link up with the Highways Management Team. Do they fail to tell you all the work they're doing? Driving home last night there was a large closure (M11 turn off on the M25) which wasn't on Waze and wasn't on any of the M25 warning boards either. Seems odd that it wasn't on either seeing as it was coned off and clearly involved planned works.

Search settings
To have search settings so we can customize settings for search like, show results no larger than 200 km of my current location, search locations by categories like restaurants, no police for the route and start the results from closest location to large locations, thank you.

Inclination / Slope Indicator
Display of inclination (rise/slope) and lateral inclination of the vehicle, based on the sensors of the used cell phone. Both values should be switched on separately. If the cell phone does not provide these values, the options are grayed out.
This can be used to optimize fuel consumption or for off-road safety.
The display should be in quasi-analog form, e.g. as a rotating wheel or as a pointer on a fixed scale to get a feel for the rate of change.

Adding events to the list for people to report on
Add vehicle stopped in the road causing congestion.
Add traffic lights not working causing congestion.
Add police road blocks as well as specifying what police is doing.
For instance, highway petrol will not be trapping for speed, whereas other would have set up a temporary speed trap using laser devices - not cameras.1 vote -
advanced alerts
Several states have DMV digital alert signs - it would be great to be able to add those warnings to Waze. Example the DMV sign alerts 'accident on 85 South 5 miles ahead all lanes closed' - If a Wazer could input that info by means other than map chats people usually don't read, or at the wrong mile marker it'd be extremely valuable for people traveling in large cities.

Remove Reporting of Emergency Vehicles that are MOVING
REMOVE TAGGING OF EMERGENCY VEHICLES
Morons are tagging moving vehicles, on BOTH CARRIAGEWAYS. Those vehicles are never there when you get where the report was made and you get loads of reports that don't mean anything. It's a needless distraction.
Either remove it or RENAME IT..... STATIONARY EMERGENCY VEHICLES.
Hopefully, most users can read.

Move the Incident Timeline to the Main Navigation Screen + Live Position Indicator
Place the full incident timeline directly on the main navigation screen and add a live vehicle marker showing the user’s exact position on the time-based route bar. This lets drivers instantly understand where they are within the timeline, what hazards are coming next, and how far they are from each report — all without leaving the main map.

I’d like to propose a community-reported Safety Alert for situations where unusual or unclear activity near the roadway creates uncertainty and potential risk, even when the cause is not clearly visible or identifiable.
In these moments, uncertainty itself becomes a road safety issue, leading to panic braking, sudden U-turns, or drivers unknowingly entering unstable areas.
Examples include:
Sudden crowd activity blocking streets
Chaotic traffic behavior with no clear incident
Loud or alarming sounds affecting driver focus
Unstable situations where drivers begin stopping or turning around abruptly
In these cases, uncertainty itself becomes a road safety issue.

Route Suggestions are not the BEST! Have thubms UP, when WAZE does a good job.
On some days, Waze suggests some really amazing detours and it saves a lot of GAS, as the vehicle is constantly moving. Also, the route saves you time. At other times, WAZE take you straight into Traffic or to a route, with building up traffic, and then asks "Are you stuck in Traffic". Really !!!. You told me to go there.
There should be a way to give WAZE thumbs up, for saving time. and Thumbs DOWN for suggesting a route with more traffic with no options for detour.

Gui issue
In an average speed controlled area the speed is partially obscured by the average speed zone indicator.
When a speed control camera is approached especially at the start of the zone, the vehicle speed is TOTALLY OBSCURED by the speed camera warning.!!

I LOVE THIS APP. Needs greater visability.
A single tap to the top or bottom text box could open a large text box (full screen) with the info contained in the text box when tapped. That LARGE TEXT box should display the information that was tapped. It needs to be visible for about 20 seconds. A double tap should open the information currently displayed with a single tap. The Audible.com app does this well.

I am seeing wrong reports
I am seeing Waze users reporting police as if it’s police trap. But when in fact it’s a police officer already pulled someone over for speeding or to help out. A early suggestion was to put down emergency vehicle on road. So the police trap report won’t be missed labeled and the users won’t disregard the report

Advertise the Waze app on billboards in high traffic areas
I think if Waze advertised the App in particularly high traffic areas, Waze could ultimately get tons of new users and the ability to ease traffic. For example, I live in Williamsburg, Virginia and travel I-64 daily to get to work in Hampton. It's about 33 miles one way. Currently, I-64 is under construction to widen it. During the summer time frame, there are approximately, 20,000 more drivers on this busy section a day that are headed to Virginia Beach and/or the Outer Banks of North Carolina for vacation. Range Inclusion
I’d like to suggest a feature that could greatly benefit electric vehicle (EV) drivers like myself. It would be extremely helpful if Waze could integrate EV range information into the app to provide more accurate recommendations for nearby charging stations. Additionally, ensuring that the data on available chargers is up-to-date and reliable is crucial, especially with different charging speeds and station availability. This improvement would make Waze an even more valuable tool for EV drivers, enhancing our ability to plan routes effectively and avoid range anxiety.

rotate the map when stopped to know which direction to go
Rotate the map by rotating the phone. Currently there is only the option to rotate the vehicle indicator, it should have the option to rotate the map when pointing the phone in the direction you are going, so it would be easier to know which direction to go when you leave, as you only realize that you are going in the wrong direction after walking a few meters.

Stop using last direction of travel for assumed start direction of new trip
Waze should not make assumptions like the direction my vehicle is facing for a new trip based on the direction it was facing when the last trip completed. 1) I have a driveway so I rarely park on the street in the direction I was last traveling while guided by Waze. 2) When I am going home I do not have my actual address stored in Waze, rather one 5-6 homes before my address so I continue past the address which Waze thinks is my home destination. 3) Another reason Waze should not assume my direction of last travel is…

Sound alert on/off toggle for re-routing notifications
I am a professional heavy vehicle driver and use Waze constantly. As only one additional stop is allowed, I take numerous side trips off my set designated route. The constant rerouting sound is quite annoying and personally, I dont need to be notified audibly that I am leaving the nominated route and would like the option to turn it off when not needed.
