Problème de route
Waze me fait souvent passer par des petits chemin alors que je peux prendre l'axe principale et la durée du trajet reste inchangé..ça le fait a beaucoup de personne de mon entourage.

Lengte, hoogte en gewicht voorzien voor vtg en route daar rekening mee laten houden, bv beperkingen hoogte of gewicht tijdens de route.

Add rerouting on a route that has slowed down are block by a hazard.
Is there a way to add a button and that when on a current route, you would be warned that the way is slowing down then it will automatically ask you if you want to reroute to avoid the congestion or accident.
On reporting make it less choices so it can be reported quicker with one key touch to keep drivers focused on the road.
Add a way to make a flag so you can report that issue later when your at a stop light or at the end your trip.

Ability to know future trip's full route when the starting point is NOT my current location.
If you schedule with someone to pick you up tomorrow, and you want to know what the possible routess for him will look like, from his home directly to the final destination, you cant do that now. There is a way to check a route from a point which isnt your current location, but only for right now. You cant plan a route from point x (x=not here) to destination in the future and view the possible routes for that trip. So if your friend wants to pick you up, but doesn't know where you should wait for…

adding ability to upload routes via excel spreadsheet
it would be nice to upload a route to Waze via excel. Hope you guys can make this happen. Cheers

Add option to display SpeedTraps on main screen without having to use menu.
Add in the settings an option to display "Speed Trap" info on main screen. This would display in either the title bar or on the main screen and would have an icon with two numbers: A red number that indicates the # of speedtraps on your route, and a Yellow number that indicates the # of speedtraps not on the route. This would be very useful because speedtraps move (police pull someone over and then sit in new spot), so it helps to have more advanced notice that police are in the area.

Larger arrows in colour coding for traffic congestion
The colour coding for traffic congestion arrows are hidden when on your route. They should be larger in order to unhide from the pink line representing your route.

highlight traffic jams
Better highlight of traffic jams on the map. AT the moment, it seems impossible to see an upcoming jam when Waze is following a route. The route track overlays the jam indication of the maps and the whole thing is not very visible. Make it clearer by making introducing stripes, checkerboards or whatever.

Fix the share my drive feature to remember your most recent share contacts. Also highlight the actual route not the straight line from a->b
Restore the share my drive feature that remembers ego you recently shared your drive with. It used to do this but no longer does.
Also, when sharing a drive it should show the actual route the person is taking (like it does for the driver) and not just a straight line from point a to point b. That isn’t helpful at all when trying to meet up with someone or give them a heads up on a path to avoid. Or being able to search their route if someone were to get lost or not make it to their destination.

Starbucks or other fav chain on my way?
It would be great of you could add a store, restaurant, or other chain name (Starbucks!!) to a list of favorite stops so that try show up along pr near your route!!!

Allow other users to send address to my handheld client
Allow facebook friends, waze group members, etc. to send an address to my handheld client if I am online.
1) When an address is recieved by the client, ask the user to accept the route, reject the route or block all address pings.
2) If I don't have a route set, auto accept the aaddress after 10 seconds.
3) Add a new category to the Address Search dialog similar to My Favorites, Recent searches, Contacts, etc. List the received addresses for easy access.9 votes -
Detour capability
I would like for the ability to determine a detour to the current route. For example, if the highway you are on is blocked, slow or closed due to an accident, you can push a detour option/button and select the distance of the detour (1/2 mile, 1 mile, 2 miles, 5 miles, 10 miles...) or maybe the system can suggest the detour length based on what it knows of the traffic conditions ahead. Add some ai smarts to Waze in its route planning concerning road steepness and car loading condition
I had to drive over Homestake Pass (an engine and transmission destroyer) in Montana while driving an old and overloaded car in July 2023. Your navigation program needs to have alternative routes built into it to choose from that are easier on a vehicle. I suggest you build that into the route planning. Use embedded AI if need be. If your software could ask the age and condition of the vehicle, it could using that information, suggest less troublesome routes. Am fortunate to be able to improvise. Waze for Emergency vehicles.
Not for the common Waze market. But might be useful for Public safety and emergency situations. Give the "ambulance"(example) Waze and it can help alert all other vehicles of the incoming emergency vehicle and its route. Also it can help navigate the Emergency vehicle to easier routes.

Implement U-turn navigation instruction and ability to allow u-turns at intersection.
In exUSSR countries it is a common practice to use u-turn. Traffic lights at major intersections may have special arrow to allow only left turns and u-turns. But currently Waze cannot use this feature to build optimal route.

Add the ability to automaticly find caches along a route. A feature to get the most caches AND Waze points in X number of miles driven would be a fun driving adventure.

PLEASE improve auto routing feature
Since its implementation I've HATED that Waze...after a short interval...automatically chooses one route (out of several options). The time allotted is not nearly long enough to allow for an informed choice (at least not in a densely populated area where there are several options). If two or three routes are very close in travel time, the shorter one may have higher tolls or traffic slow downs...and I want to assess each one. At least, allow users to turn off the auto route option. I, for one, know my area well and the advantages/disadvantages of each route, and don't…

More direct routes for emergency response services and fire hydrant locations.
Hi, I propose you look into a toggle option for navigation for emergency services organizations that completely ignores traffic regulations, stop signs traffic lights etc..
Emergency services need to take the fastest route while ignoring speed limits, traffic lights & signs.
It would be very helpful to have a navigation that made more direct routes that completely disregard these things and give you the absolute fastest route.
Also, it would be awesome if there could also be a toggle option to show fire hydrant icons / locations for firefighters.4 votes
