speed camera
You used to let us report Police -> Speed camera. For temporary speed cameras. Now we can only report police/visible or police/hidden. Not all speed cameras are permanent map features. Please reinstate this feature.

Speeding Camera icon
I suggest that the Speeding Camera icon can be more obvious or may be larger on map.. Coz I sometimes I mistook the icon as other wazers.. Or wazer icons are too much to cover over the speeding camera icon... Thank you for reviewing my feedback.

Indicateur de vitesse
Bonjour
Ajouter une option pour gérer la taille, position et la couleur de l'indicateur de vitesse. Les smartphones sont de plus en plus grands, l'indicateur est trop petit, l'option pourrait être x2,x3,x4, voir x5. Pour la couleur, quand il passe rouge, il est impossible de lire la valeur indiquée. L'indicateur pourrait prendre quasi la moitié de l'écran

New "Recent Locations" Screen
New feature with "Recent Locations" is of no value to me. The recent locations were already on your landing screen. There was no need to create this extra navigation step. I now have to take the extra step of navigating away from it and go to the old screen to type in an address. The extra step is time consuming as I use the app quite a bit, slows my day. Less is more folks, this is 2021, simple and quick was working well. Would be great if you can add an option to revert back to the old landing screen. Migrating to Google Maps for now but will keep an eye on Waze changes. thanks.

See Routes Map view on iPhone screen while connected to CarPlay
So far there is only option to see Routes List view on iPhone screen while connected to CarPlay.

Apple Carplay - Share Drive Option
Please add the option to share your drive within Carplay without having to switch to the phone to start this.
In iOS13 Apple Maps now allow you to share your drive so can Waze do the same please?

Make Waze AUTO sleep after 5 sec when Power is UNpluged while in the App
Make a setting to make Waze AUTO sleep after 5 sec(or X sec, normal Waze countdown style Ok/Cancel box) when Power is UNpluged while in the app. This could be further improved with a "only within 5 mins of reaching a destination" setting.
I think everyone that have Waze in the car has the phone on acc power and it would be so nice not to have to remember to Sleep Waze EVERY time I get to my destination.

add friend by username
I would like to add friends by their waze username. As a long time adapter of waze, I always found it odd that I couldn't add friends by username. WIth social media being so open, there are still users who feel waze does not need to know their phone number and shares the drive just fine through email and text messages. It is unfair to only allow people to connect by giving up personal information or using social media. A person's location is private information and should be allowed a more private way to share it if needed.

Sort searches by smallest deviation from the route
When I create a route and then try to search a place (within the categories), the list shows the closest places, but it doesn't mean the smallest deviation from the original route. The results should be sorted by smallest deviation or by smallest increase on ETA.

turn off phone notifications while driving
I want to be able to turn off all phone related notifications while driving. I was in a new place looking for a turn when the phone rang switching off waze.
this would also improve Saturday.

Addresses in Colombia
Addresses are pretty easy to implement in Colombia, they have 2 components. The main road being it a Calle or Carrera most of the time, and the House number, made of two parts, The intersection with the opposing road, for example a Carrera would intersect with a Calle and viceversa, and the distance from the intersection. For example, Calle 45 #67-85 would be 85 meters after the intersection of Calle 45 and Carrera 67, on Calle 45 going towards calle 68. It would be pretty easy, and really convenient for users in Colombia.

We are aware of this need since address fields are ordered differently from one country to the other.
Providing this flexibility in address fields is planned but it’s out of current scope so we can’t share a timeline at the moment.

Color Coding for "Traffic" Reports Indication
To Use different Color Codes for :
"Moderate" - "Yellow" Color
"Heavy" - "Orange" Color
"Standstill" - "Red" ColorThis will indirectly help us to minimize our attention to the Screen without touch the Icon for Status of that Traffic in that location. It is good to Ease of Reference as Currently, I need to Press on that Icon Everything while on the move which is quite dangerous sometimes.31 votes -
Routing server timeouts - retry in the background
Sometimes everyone of us experiences routing server timeouts with an Oops/OK prompt. Then one needs to reclick the destination while driving, which is disturbing. Perhaps the client could have an option to retry a couple of times in the background, and then notify if all retries failed?

Flock Camera Avoidance
I believe I understand the use case of the Flock Cameras; however, there is an alarming number of misuse cases all across America. Just as we can add toll avoidance, rail avoidance, etc., I ask to add Flock Camera avoidance. These cameras can be used to target bad actors, but due to misuse, good people are also targeted, which is not fair at all. If there is a way to create routes that avoid them altogether, I would like that.

Estimados, todos hemos podido notar que la opción de chat desapareció debido a las recientes actualizaciones. Lo cual desde mi punto de vista como usuario frecuente de su aplicación encuentro que es un error fatal. Waze se diferencia de otras aplicaciones principalmente por su función de poder chatear con otros conductores. Ninguna otra aplicación tiene esa opción tan desarrollada como ustedes. Es una forma eficiente de informar y/o reportar situaciones que muchas veces con los simples iconos generales no es suficiente. Así que expuesta mi sugerencia solicitó que puedan evaluar la opción de habilitar nuevamente los chats en el mapa para garantizar una conducción donde todos los conductores podamos interactuar.
