Mudança na tecnologia 3G deixa Waze "maluco" sem GPS, nos forçando a desligar o 3G de diversas operadoras do Brasil
Todos brasileiros que estiverem enfrentando problemas no GPS de seus aparelhos por culpa de mudanças na tecnologia 3G que as operadoras vem realizando de 2015 para cá, por favor somem-se a mim votando para que a Waze interceda junto às companhias telefônicas para corrigirem ou apresentarem alternativas a este problema.
A maioria dos usuários simplesmente vem deixando de usar o Waze, por acreditar que seja problema no aplicativo, quando o problema na verdade é algum conflito do GPS (qualquer outro app que use terá o mesmo problema) com mudanças que vem ocorrendo na tecnologia 3G.
Afirmo com segurança que o problema é no 3G pois assim que desativo ele no celular, ficando no modo Edge, o GPS volta a funcionar plenamente, PORÉM, com a troca de dados comprometida!
E afirmo que o problema decorre de mudanças DAS OPERADORAS por viajar pelo Brasil de carro e perceber que de um Estado para outro o GPS volta a funcionar!Aqui no sul do Brasil, estado do Rio Grande do Sul - RS, por onde ando o Waze fica "saltando" de localização ou perdendo o sinal. Então desativo o 3G e ele volta a funcionar, mas assim perde dados atualizados da estrada...
Mas, logo ao entrar no estado de Santa Catarina - SC, o Waze volta a funcionar perfeitamente NO 3G!!! Só que já enfrentei exatamente o mesmo problema estando em SC em outubro de 2015, provavelmente pela VIVO estar testando a mudança de tecnologia, voltando e mantendo a tecnologia anterior agora no final do ano.Assim, amigos, acredito que MUITOS OUTROS USUÁRIOS DE WAZE no Brasil (e talvez no mundo?) estejam passando pelo mesmo problema, mas culpando o App! Já localizei na internet alguns relatos de problemas semelhantes em SP, RJ, DF, tanto da operadora VIVO, quanto TIM e OI.

Fix Volume bug
You can only adjust the volume (using the hard buttons) while Waze is vocally communicating with you. Between alerts/navigation, pressing the volume buttons does nothing

Alerta de atividades de bandidos e marginais
Como sugestão e até como utilidade pública o Waze poderia, ao invés, ou melhor, além de alertar onde temos policiais o sistema poderia alertar onde temos atividades de bandidos... Em São Paulo em muitos semáforos ou em pontos de congestinamentos por vezes avistamos a atividade de marginais e isso poderia ser muito útil para que o motorista redobrasse sua atenção ao risco de assalto...

lock screen orientation
My screen is constantly flipping and tumbling while I'm on the move, making the visual map virtually useless. A simple option to lock orientation in the app would solve this.

Visualize BEST TIME TO LEAVE for a given destination (red to green). Save time if you know the peaks.
Problem
You know where to go, but want to know what would be the best time to leave to avoid peak traffic.
At the moment you a ETA, which is nice to know but doesn't help you to plan.Idea
You plan a route, get an ETA and a option to choose the best time for leaving. Could be a color coded (green to red) 24h hour-by-hour "forecast" of expected travel time (graph or simple list). This could include current traffic situation for the next few hours, averages for the rest. Also the next 2 hours could be split into let's say quarters of an hour. Sometimes being 15 minutes late can result in being stuck in rush hour. It could calculate minutes/percentages you could save or you could spend in traffic.Benefit
- Wazers can save on travel time by choose their ideal time to leave.
- Other Wazers benefit from distribution of traffic over time - reduce the peaks, facilitate low traffic.
- @Waze: You want to save 5 minutes per Wazer each day by providing the best route. Save them another 5 minutes by enabling them to choose the perfect time to leave.What do you think? Any other ideas?

Add clock
I can see the speed and some more info in the waze full screen, but i often need to see the current time. I have to switch out of waze.

Add option to make restrictions visible similar to closures
This goes together with a suggestion on the WME side to add a check box in WME.
Since there is no easy way to add closures based on a schedule, there are times it would be nice to have restrictions that can be scheduled show in the app similar to a closure. That way someone driving without a route will have the visual cue like a closure.

Distância do alerta da praça de pedágio
Atualmente, o Waze alerta a existência de pedágio à frente cerca de 400 metros antes das cancelas, quando a praça de pedágio já está plenamente visível pelo para-brisa.
Sugiro que o alerta seja dado 2 km antes da Praça de Pedágio, para que ele tenha mais uso, como preparar o pagamento, alterar a velocidade, utilizar outro caminho etc.

Cantonese
Hi, I am a Cantonese user and I was wondering if it might be possible to introduce more Cantonese voice options for navigation.
I really enjoy using the app, but listening to the same Cantonese voice repeatedly can feel a little monotonous at times. Having more voice variety would be greatly appreciated.
I understand that Cantonese users may account for less than 1% of all users, but I still hope more options can be considered in the future.

Evacuation zones
I know these currently exist via Champs/Coordinators, this is a suggestion on how these work.
We in NC have had a big issue with DOT not knowing every closed road and considered almost half the state as closed. NC leadership worked with champs and coordinators to get an evacuation zone set up. However, we noticed that routing through this zone was still enabled. Based on this here is 2 suggestions we came up with.
1 - Route Around - This suggestion is to restrict travel from outside the zone to outside the zone through the zone completely. This is the preferable option as it will keep users from entering possibly dangerous areas and also keep users from impeding emergency responders. Doing this could also reduce Waze's liability for routing users into hazardous areas that Waze would have knowledge of but the user may not.
2 - Message - This suggestion comes from the routing inside of the evacuation zone as this will display a message regarding this destination is in an evacuation zone and give an option for another destination. What we are suggesting is to use something similar for routing through the evacuation. I suggest "This routes through an Evacuation Zone" then details and give an option for other routes.

Truck Driver friendly
I would love to see a truck driver (class A and class B) friendly to where truck drivers can see height of bridges and the maximum weight capacity it holds. This would open up some much more interest for people and increase usage. My spouse hates google maps and Apple Maps because they never work for him he loves wazes but wishes it incorporates truck drivers. Please take this into consideration I would appreciate it so much thank you.

Send Pot hole data to government for repair work automatically.
Standardize pot hole reporting to the government by automatically sending the data from Waze to the proper agency's so they can plan and repair the areas that will have the biggest impact.

Re-enable Other Side Police Reporting
Otherside Police Reporting- This was probably one of the best features of the App- other than the same side regular police notification. It gives a warning for less traveled roads that may have a Waze user traveling in the other direction on a less traveled road whereas a same way traveler has not yet passed and left an Alert. PLEASE BRING THAT FEATURE BACK ASAP!

Possible crash detect, crash guardian and SOS button
IT'S possible detect a crash using sensors of telefone and open a big menu (1. False Alarm Thanks; 2. Yes, but all ok no action needed; 3. Yes, I need support imediately, coubt down 60s for send alert and location for numbers and wazers nearbay...) send repot for pre informed numbers and data like velocity and direction.

Please give the ability to turn off the "carpool" button
The carpool button is the bane of my Waze existence. Whenever I pick up my phone from the little pocket area in the car and Waze is running, it triggers this "carpool" button. Then it takes both hands to swipe from the far left side of the screen to make it go away. I won't ever use the carpool function and would love to be able to hide it and stop this from happening. I know it sounds trivial, but it's maddening to deal with.
