Time lapse photos
On road trips it would be a cool feature to have a time lapse photo feature that can post to Facebook or Twitter as I am heading to my destination.

Both Android and IPhone users on the same map
While driving with a friend who had an iPhone5 (I have a Samsung S3), we noticed that our maps were not showing the same wazers or reports. Displaying both will give more accurate reports and be more fun! I want to see all reports and friends, not just those on Android!

Increase the map speedometer when using Apple Carplay after iOS26 upgrade.
After the iOS26 update when using the Apple Carplay the speedometer was changed to a tinny version, very hard to see when driving. The overall experience with the carplay was better, the new carplay itself changed to a better resolution that fits better the 10inch display of my car, the only exception is the small speedometer used by Waze. Please, add an option that allow the user to configure the size of the speedometer when using Carplay.

Commercial Navigation
There are a lot of commercial vehicles on the road. I think it would be nice to give the user the ability to input the height and weight of their commercial vehicle including oversized and overheight loads. Editors would include clearance heights when a road level 1 crosses over a Ground level, level 2 over level 1, etc. as well as roadway weight restrictions as displayed on signage (eg: Weight limit 8 tons empty weight) as well as general commercial truck restrictions as displayed on signage. "Along route" should be a choice when searching for a point of interest!
Many times while driving I want to find a restaurant, bathroom, gas station, etc. I'll get results, but a) many are already far behind me, and b) the distance is off. How about giving an "Along route" option? Unless the only option is behind me, it is silly that I have to test 4 or 5 choices that move me backwards before I find one that is ahead of me. Waze knows where I am headed and knows where the places are, so that should be the clear and obvious option.
And why can't the distance be correct? Again, Waze…

Unable to close 'Arriving at destination' popup displayed on top of map.
Occasionally, after having reached a destination while navigating, the "Arriving at Destination" popup that is displayed over the map cannot be closed. The small X button to close it is not displayed, often only showing the option to minimize the popup. This happens sporadically.

Various suggestions taken from other systems
Hello everyone,
after a period where I have been a passenger of friends and colleagues ( due to surgery ) I decided to write down what, in my opinion, can be insights to further improve this navigation system.As a first suggestion ( I copy the idea from AmiGo ) is to make the indication of the speed limit and current speed more intuitive and readable by using colors inside the speedometer. The idea of verbally indicating the speed of speed cameras can also be very helpful.

There are no streets near the destination - Map Problem
When we have a location registered in Waze or Google and there are no nearby streets that can route the user there, Waze displays the error: Could not locate end point
My suggestion is that Waze should map Google/Waze locations, identify those that are too far from a street, and create a Map Problem (MP) in the Waze map editor so that we can check whether the street needs to be drawn or whether to simply close the MP as unidentified.

Quick link needed from overview of a route by clicking the police officers head, it should take directly to the location on the map
Why when looking at overview can i not press the police officers head and it takes me stright to location it has been logged! Seems a basic idea that should be standard! Or is my just broken?

Displaying the sections where the speed of travel from point A to point B is recorded by the cameras of the Toll system for vignettes.
Hello Bulgaria, but not only Bulgaria. Since the beginning of September 2025, the toll system that monitors purchased vignettes has started measuring average speed in certain sections of the road network.
Unfortunately, these road sections are not marked on the road itself, and drivers have no way of knowing that they are entering these sections.
The state, represented by the Road Agency and the Toll System, published a list and map on their website showing where these sections are located, and that was the end of the information on this change.

Show Suburb Name While Driving
It would be very useful if Waze could display the current suburb/locality name on the main navigation screen while driving. At the moment, suburb names only appear faintly on the map or in some voice instructions, but they are not always visible.
Having the suburb name clearly shown (for example, near the top or bottom of the screen) would help drivers quickly know which suburb they are in, especially in large cities with many small suburbs. This would improve situational awareness and make navigation more convenient.

Feature Request: Co-Drive Functionality
Every year, I go on vacation with my family and friends, and we always rely on the Waze app, which has been incredibly helpful for all of us.
I’d like to suggest a new feature that could enhance the experience for groups traveling in multiple cars: a Co-Drive functionality. The idea is to allow users who are part of the same travel group to see each other’s locations on the map during the trip. Add Place Description Option for Online Ordering
Many restaurants, fast food and otherwise, are adding the ability to order online in order to speed up visits. Waze could highlight places that provide this service, possibly providing any dedicated link to ordering websites. Of course this would require the complementary modification to the places function in the map editor. Then when searching for "restaurant," Waze could display an "order in advance" option. Since this may be beneficial to advertisers, it might be something that Waze could also use for revenue.

Add Option to Choose Vehicle Icon Position

Hello Waze team,Many users, including myself, find it difficult to use Waze on large screens because the vehicle icon is displayed on the right side of the screen by default. For drivers seated on the left side (left-hand drive vehicles), this creates visual discomfort and requires more eye effort to follow the route.

Advertise the Waze app on billboards in high traffic areas
I think if Waze advertised the App in particularly high traffic areas, Waze could ultimately get tons of new users and the ability to ease traffic. For example, I live in Williamsburg, Virginia and travel I-64 daily to get to work in Hampton. It's about 33 miles one way. Currently, I-64 is under construction to widen it. During the summer time frame, there are approximately, 20,000 more drivers on this busy section a day that are headed to Virginia Beach and/or the Outer Banks of North Carolina for vacation.
