1. Who at Waze wrote the memo that things must be hard.

   All I want Waze to do is get me from point A to B. This morning was in a rush, typed in mr destination address and I was then directed to input info. into Facebook and other social media. I divorced myself from Facebook years ago. They are a dog breath outfit. Why would Waze send me there?
   
   There was no exit button, no way for me to get out of this so I logged off and got my direction from Google map.
   
   Just make things simple, just give directions.

2. Warn a user if he/she cannot drive exactly to a target because of traffic limitations

   If a target is located on a walking trail or a street not allowed for private cars, warn a user on the start of navigation and again when approaching the target that he/she is led to the nearest available point because of the above obstacle.

3. Road block reporting was displayed vertical

   It would easier to select the road blocks if they were verticals options and not horizontal, the same way the direction of traffic is. That way. If you are reporting a block road on the left you select the one on the left and not the top or bottom and if it's the one in the center you select the center. And if it's the one on the right you select the one on the right. Seamless integration to actual practice driving makes for paying attention to the road safer, Better and much easier to report. That way they can also be larger buttons for selection rather than smaller harder to read buttons. Thanks.

   COMMUTER MODE - I know how to get to work.... I just need to know if the road is blocked, or if the police are up ahead. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!

5. To solve the bug that cuts out the sound for directions

   There is this bug that When you have Waze downloaded for a while the navigation sound just goes for some reason, please can this be sorted or looked into to resolve this bug?

6. New Update Has Issues

   With the most recent update, my google assistant microphone no longer works with Waze while using Android Auto. For example, if I'm driving & I tap the microphone or call out to Google and ask for directions to a place, the voice command says "ok, setting your route to said place." Then my Waze map flashes but the directions do not appear nor is there any route guidance. Another feature that seems to have disappeared is adding a stop to my current route. These features worked flawlessly before the update. Also, the large block that appears in the upper left hand corner of my maps takes up to much room. Can you make that turn/direction box go away until one is within say two to three miles of a needed action? I have to see that box constantly even if it's showing me my next turn, exit or ramp is 100 miles away. The box blocks a large portion of the map. Thanks

7. Ui and arrow problem

   UI Design – The interface sometimes feels cluttered and unpolished, making it harder to use on the go. A cleaner, more modern layout would help.
   
   Navigation Arrow Placement – The direction arrow is inconsistent: sometimes it sits too high (near the top of the screen), making it small and hard to see quickly, especially in cities. Other times, it’s positioned well. Keeping it more centered and larger would reduce distraction while driving

8. More information for the Editor when opening UR

   ENGLISH:

   Problem:

   Often the UR (User Report) arrive to us without information, even trying to contact the user we do not get a good response rate, so much is that most open URs are closed as UNIDENTIFIED.

   Improvement: When opening a UR you could get more information for the publisher in WME as

   Route Start Location
   Destination of the Route
   Location source (Waze Database or Google Maps)
   APP configuration information that user uses as Avoid Dirt Road, Toll, Expressways etc.)

   You may ask me: The user would not have privacy. In parts yes. When you open a UR, we do not know who the author is. Even if this is a problem, there could be a setting in the APP such as: Send detailed information about the route when opening UR (Yes or No). Option leave as default.

10. Mark incidents on map based on when you started the report

    At Highway speeds I could be a quarter mile down the road by the time I’m done tapping out my incident report. Waze should remember my position when I started the incident report and post it back there once I’m finished.

11. Indicator Panel with Arrows and Traffic Directions and Street Names

    Hi guys, I have a suggestion for you developers,
    Could you make as a Show and Hide Option the "Indicator Panel with Arrows and Traffic Directions and Street Names" which is black in color,
    And it's always there on the top left and it's huge and it covers a lot of the nav screen, top left, Could you make it like some sort of show and hide option.
    This Information-Indicative Panel is rarely used and is not suitable to be always present on the display especially during long distances.
    This black Information-Indicator panel is rarely used. If possible, please make the direction arrows AS TRANSPARENT ARROWS ON THE HIGHWAY CONTOURS for the current traffic, but let them also be optional.
    Could you also make the background, text and arrow color as selectable option to implement for users, May it be more successful and attractive Waze.

    the "next turn" needs to read what can be seen through the windshield .... EG US183 in Lampasas Tx is LOCALLY called "Bell Street" but unless you are arriving at US183 from an in town intersection, the sign is 'US183' when arriving via US281.

    ALSO ... and I have screenshots for this ... but do not see a place to load them.

    a route from Hamilton, TX to Austin, TX directs through Lampasas, TX. Hamilton to Lampasas on US281, THEN take US183. Directions this weekend showed a turn onto US183 about 30 miles SOUTH of Lampasas. Waze omiited the access to US183 IN Lampasas to Austin.

    When I was north of Lampasas, providing a distance to US183 IN Lampasas was of greater value than the distance to the turn onto 183A in (the other) Liberty Hill.

    Finally ... when I zoom in to see a (side) street name, the font needs to increase in size, not resize to what it was previously.

    I think that is all.

13. Auto North Button

    Please give the option to Auto North Adjust the map without using the "Keep map north up" setting.

    Same concept as the Re-Center button, but "Re-Rotate" the map view to North Up temporarily.

    For example: Apple/Google Maps have a compass icon that you can press to re-rotate your view back to north up.
    (It also shows which direction the map is pointed in, which would be nice to have)

14. Always allow to use the options to report problems, even after arriving ;-)

    Always allow to use the options to report problems like roadworks ect., even after arriving or interrupted trip. Why not? 🤷🏼‍♂️

    My trick now is to start the navigation again to the same destination and hit the report botton who just came available again😄👍

15. As a biker I don’t want Waze to open last recent destination when starting Waze to prevent me to take off my gloves to scroll down the list.

    Add an option to prevent recent destination menu to appear when starting Waze.

16. Early Alert for Standstill Traffic Following Accidents on Motorways

    Possibility to treat standstill traffic as an alert when there is an accident ahead. When an accident occurs on a motorway and traffic queues start to form, the key is to receive an alert about the standstill traffic. Ideally, this should happen at a greater distance than usual.

17. Add a way to put Waze to sleep in Apple CarPlay

    If I navigate with Waze in Apple CarPlay, it stays open on my phone and drains my battery unless I remember to go on my phone when I get out of my car and put Waze to sleep. Then the next time I get in my car, Waze starts up even if I don't use navigation and stays on on my phone when I get out of the car, again draining my phone battery. And if while in the car, I put Waze to sleep on my phone or quit the app, it immediately starts up again. This is a huge pain. I want a way to only have Waze active WHEN I WANT IT TO BE, not every time I get into my car.

    Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

18. Track my car's vitals; build database for community benefits

    This is a big idea, no small undertaking I know. I'd like to combine my GPS app with the functionality of an app like Gas Cubby, which tracks my MPG at every fill-up and alerts me when my car is due for maintenance.

    Here's how I envision it:
    -I tell Waze what car I drive: ex: 2003 Saturn Vue, 6 cyl, automatic
    -Every time I stop to fill up, I tell Was
    a) What my current odometer reads (waze should know how many miles I've driven in theory, but this is a checksum validation in case I forgot to open the app while driving a few miles)
    b) How many gallons I pumped
    c) What price I paid
    d) Waze automatically detects what gas station I'm at
    -This allows Waze to track my MPG and cost of driving
    -This also incentivizes wazers to use the gas price feature more often

    Waze can then go several directions:
    -Keep a database of real world avg MPG ratings for all sorts vehicles, a valuable database to have for people purchasing new and used cars.
    -Waze gets more accurate gas price database because people use the feature at every fill-up
    -Alert me of the best price of gas on my commute when it knows I'm low on gas (IE: it can tell I fill up on average every 300 mi, it starts suggesting places when I've gone 250 mi.)
    -I can request routes based on new factors: quickest, shortest, or most economical route (since it can learn my MPG in city vs highway driving... it's tracking all of it after all). In many case I find, the route that's going to take me an extra 3-5 minutes to drive is also the route that will save me money on gas, which is worth it to me; but not always. It's hard to tell and waze could compute this for me.
    -It can give an estimated cost of trip as well as ETA (EX: 20 mi to work, 26 minute ETA, $3.42 estimate cost of commute given current local gas prices and your driving habits and mpg)
    -It can also alert me of other maintenance items: oil changes, timing belts, fuel filters, even to check tire pressure every couple thousand miles.

    All of this would incentivize Wazers to leave the app open at all times when driving, whether they need directions or not, which in turn gives waze more accurate map and traffic date. This also gives a new aspect to the 'game' that is waze: I get to track and beat my own 'score' (mpg), and even 'beat' the avg MPG of other Wazers with my vehicle type.

    I've been looking for a GPS that does all this for a long time, and there isn't a good one. Waze has the best chance of becoming that. I know it's a big request, but I think it would be amazing.

19. Motorcycle Horizontally Mounted Phone

    Dear Waze Team,

    I use Waze on my motorcycle and would like to make two suggestions to improve Waze for all motorcyclists. I mount my phone horizontally on my motorcycle handlebar. But the problem I experienced with the phone being mounted horizontally is that the map on Waze is not completely visible.

    1. The search destination bar at the botton of the screen is covering a lot of the map when there is no destination entered. Would it be possible to make a small enter destination button at the side of the screen for example below or above the speedometer instead of the huge search destination bar at the bottom of the screen. The map at the bottom of the screen would be much more visible then.

    2. The Next Turns display at the top left of the screen covers a lot of the map. Almost a quarter of the map is not visible because of this. Would it be possible to make the Next Turns display smaller? The only thing I need is an arrow pointing the direction of the next turn. It would be great if the distance and streetname could be made optional.

    I think I am not the only motorcyclist experiencing these problems and I think the features mentioned above could be a great addition to Waze, especially for motorcycle users who use Waze with a horizontally mounted phone.

    I’m writing as a dedicated Waze user and BMW owner who strongly believes that Waze deserves full integration into the driver’s cockpit — not just the center screen.

    I currently use Waze on a BMW G20 330i xDrive (2021, iDrive 7) with the latest versions of iOS + CarPlay and Android + Android Auto (tested on both platforms). At this time, navigation only appears on the main display, while the instrument cluster and head-up display (HUD) remain inactive — which limits driver comfort, focus, and overall safety.

    I would like to formally request that Waze enable support for showing navigation directions, turn-by-turn prompts, and police/speed-camera alerts directly on the instrument cluster and HUD, similar to how BMW’s native navigation system — and some competitor apps — already do.

    This feature would allow drivers to keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel, perfectly aligning with Waze’s mission of safer and smarter driving. Many BMW owners (especially those using iDrive 7 and iDrive 8) are actively asking for this enhancement, and it would represent a significant leap forward for Waze’s ecosystem on both CarPlay and Android Auto.

    Please forward this request to your product development or automotive integration team, and kindly let me know if there’s a roadmap or beta program planned for this functionality.

    Thank you for taking this seriously. I genuinely hope that Waze will soon provide full HUD and cluster integration for BMW drivers worldwide.
