local voices
Have directions read to you in local voices. Choose your town and the voice would feature someone from that area and use local vernacular and dialect for personalization and added fun. Start with @pardonmewithp in the Detroit area.

The Nathan voice has an annoying accent in American. Remove the dipthongs and give him pure Midwestern voice. Or give us some male unaccented voice here in u,s. Example: "half" has "a" as in Apple, not "heh-af". So annoying.

The navigation system encounters failures with voice recognition.
For instance, when I clearly state my destination as "XYZ-City Main Station," the system responds with a generic acknowledgment like "Okay, I'll take you to XYZ-City!" despite correctly understanding my request. It navigated me to a random? position in that city. This inconsistency can be quite frustrating.

Increase font in navigation screens
Small fonts on Android. It was better few version back. Increase font in Android doesn't help. Ask your devs to respect accessibility for major actions like voice alerts, Home/work recommendations , recent drives, etc.

allow to trim voices
allow to trim a voice recorded on my persona voices, otherwise there is a lot of silence at the beginning and end, making the sentences too slow ".... in 200 meters.... take the 2nd exit..... and then..... in 200 meters.... turn left". Allow to trim with sliders like when trimming a Video in whatsapp, for example.

Vote here to keep the Ghostbusters theme. Having Ecto1 as a car option with Ray's (Dan Aykroyd) voice is an amazing driving experience we all have enjoyed. One of the reasons many users even switched to Waze was just for this option. Let make it permanent for the true fans and all others to enjoy!

IOS 13 bug
On IOS 13.6, when you launch the app, the "preparing navigation voice 92%" stuck.
This bug exists since months!

What have you done with Kate? For a while, a second voice occasionally interrupted her flow; a wee while later, a second voice joined the annoying interruptions. Now, Waze claims to have fixed the issue – but that is that Kate’s voice is now completely different: deeper in tone, accented, drops Ts, and is really grating. I have tried the other two female voices, and don’t like either of them…which is why I chose Kate! Why has Waze limited the UK options to just three? Other English-speaking nationalities have many more! Howsabout you just give us back the original…
