There is possibility to chosse your favorite fuel - but we drive on CNG and there is no way to configure this. Can you please provide this?

There should also be the possibility to choose a route with the CNG filling stations on the way because this is a specific fuel and thus not easy to find... this would be a terrific improvement!21 votesCurrently Waze app supports 4 fuel types. Car height option in settings
Add a extra setting on car height because it can be a variable like with a roofbox. So you can adapt your route depending height restrictions (tunnels or parkings)

Add a more customizable feature for creating personal routes
Personally, there are a few places on my commute to work that I would like to avoid, however, a singular stop is not enough to have a complete route.
Therefore, I want to request that Waze adds either the ability to draw a custom route, by connecting pinpoints, or allow for more “stop” features, as well as a save to custom route feature so that you do not have to do it every time.

Mandorections "This is the way"- A Star Wars theme for Waze!
A feature that takes popular transportation scenario quotes from the Star Wars Franchise that voices over the "starting route to" phrase. This add on is relevant due to the huge fan support of the new Disney Mandalorian show. This would engage users and would be a fun, nostalgic way to get to your destination.

Hurricane Evacuation Routes
Example: I-95N slow moving parking lot (meaning stop and go bumper to bumper traffic) so show less congested routes north or state 20mph parking lot. Travel north or inland would be faster by staying off freeways.

Multi-stop favorites
I would love to be able to save multi-stop routes as favorites. I take my daughter to daycare every morning on my way to work. With the current system "daycare" and "work" are two separate favorites that I have to launch when I begin that leg of the trip. I would like to have both stops saved as one favorite so I don't have to begin a new route for each leg and can keep an eye on overall progress at any time.

Add country border lines to the map. It's really a missing feature when overviewing/choosing preffered route.

Routing server timeout on long drives
Since the app seems to consistently time out looking for long drives, I would recommend allowing more back end resources be used for drives over a certain mileage or time. This might require an upgrade based on the high number of users.
Instead of having just one option, I would like to be able to choose between options since there are riskier routes for adding traffic.
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue since I can have perfect service on an iPhone 6S and consistently have your servers time out.

Route icon moved from the top to the right in Apple CarPlay. Please move back icon back to the top to reduce driving focus.
Waze app was recently updated in July 2023 (~ver 4.96.1) and Route icon moved from the top to the right in Apple CarPlay. Please move back icon back to the top. My Acura uses a round dial to navigate Apple CarPlay and is not a touch screen. Previously it was a simple rotate to the right while drive to find alternate driving routes, but now it takes several clicks causing a major distraction to driving focus.

Can’t see all routes on apple car play
When viewing route options, I can only select the first two options. If there are more route options they are hidden and unable to be selected in Apple Car Play. Scrolling down is not available in the UI.

Regular commute notification
Like most of people, I have a regular work schedule, my commute to work is always the same time and route. I do not have to check my navigation app every morning, but when something unusual happens on my route, I think I should be notified.
Most of us are using navigation apps when traveling, or going somewhere for the first time. But most of our driving time is commuting to work. We should be able to program our commuting times and routes in these apps for whatever schedule we have. If we are driving fide days…

Add more levels too Avoid Highway option
With the Avoid Highway option off, Waze is way too aggressive in routing to freeways. The the Avoid Highway on, all types of highways are avoided from minor to freeway. There should be additional options to Avoid Freeways, Avoid Major Highways and Freeways.
Yes, Waze is supposed to figure out the best route based on information without this level of direction, but in fact it does not, at least in some areas. These options would allow some user input based on experience in directing the routing.

2nd selected fastest route on first trip Romania to Bulgaria and the suggested route has a ferry. The ferry may travel as little as twice a day we found out on way. This is hopeless need bold alert on any such requirement cost us three hrs backtracking3 votes -
Add a NEW 'Police Notice' flag for the "MIDDLE" of the road!
On Waze, when flagging a Police, there's currently a 'POLICE' flag, for the current road side you're on; 'OTHER SIDE' flag, when the Police is on the other side of the road; but NO 'MIDDLE' (of the road) flag!
There are many instances where Police park (or hide) on the middle of a two-way route or major roadway.

Allow junction boxes to include RoundABout exits to prohibit illegal route suggestion possibility.
This is not about lane control, it is to attempt to prevent in Australia, left/next exits on some Roundabouts when a dedicated exit is missed.
The are RABs that you can not take the first exit on, you had to have taken an exit lane before the RAB.
It would be useful to be able to restrict these particular exit choices when required. A JB would be drawn to cover the area and be allowed to restrict that particular A-B.

Commute Mode
I would love to be able to set up a commute with stops. Maybe ask a few questions like:
How many stops do you have on your commute (kid drop off, passenger pick up for carpooling, coffee)?
Does your destination ever change? Be able to have different commute profiles.
Then ask how long you are at each stop normally.
If it is the normal route, then it will only warn you of traffic slows or hazards.
Bonus- If I am running late, set up someone to notify, husband or daycare provider ect.

Make ALL street names visible
The route lines cover the street names...and you don't list the route in list form. I NEED to know what streets names are. If I look at the map and see the street names, I don't have to look at the app while driving as much. Seriously...it's infuriating for you to COVER the names of the streets I'll be using. You're removing helpful information.

Toll payments
Waze should inform user of how much the toll is on there planned route ahead of time so user can have the correct amount, with so many people using plastic, such as credit cards and debit cards. Which toll booths don't except I feel this would help people from getting charged for going through the toll with out paying or protect there safety and stop them from flagging down other motorist it ask for change.

Express Lanes - Avoid Express Lanes option
A nice feature would be a setting to avoid Express Lanes, like the ones on I95 (I-95) that require the EZ-Pass. Currently the only way to do this is to enable "Avoid Toll Roads." However this makes my route avoid the tunnel or bridge that I DO want to use. Avoiding the tunnel or bridge would add 20 or more minutes to my drive.
Basically, separate out the luxury Express Lanes from toll roads and create another setting for them.
Thank you.49 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.
