Refined UI
This may not pertain to most people, but for those of you who use the Waze app in the landscape view may have similar issues. First of all, the alert box for train crossings and red light cameras takes up approximately 40% of the bottom of the screen, as well as the direction arrows information covers the speed display. Some of the other icons are piled on top of each other. If the UI were to be more like the Android auto version of Waze or Gmaps it would be much better and easier to use.

Recurrent generic hazard
There's a recurring generic hazard that keeps appearing on my Android at Fountain and Academy in Colorado Springs. Even though I say it's not there, it reappears the next day with more thumbs-ups.

Make it clear how to close the keyboard when adding additional text info to a report, after the keyboard blocks access to the "submit" button. Sometimes "back" (bottom right on Android) clears the entire report.

Referente aos ícones de navegação e alertas
Boa tarde... Então galera, poderia ver a possibilidade de colocar no sistema um botão para poder aumentar os ícones do aplicativo. Digo o pq? Eu tenho do dedo grande e largo então os ícones esta muito pequeno e ate o velocímetro acho que se colocar uma função tipo Tamanho: Pequeno, Médio e Grande para a gente ficaria ótimo pois poderíamos adicionar o correto. Eu uso um Tablet de 7" com a tela 1024x600 onde o ícone fica pequeno eu tenho no meu celular Note 4 e o ícone fica ate bom, se possível melhorar a sensibilidade do toque nos botoes…

Adjust the location of alerts
In Android Auto, whenever an alert appears, it hides the search buttons, alternative routes, sound, and especially the button to create an alert. This means you have to close the alert to access the create alert button. This wastes time creating the alert and makes it unsafe, as this additional step distracts the driver.
One suggestion is to have alerts appear below the traffic directions without pushing the interface to the right.

When in an EV, also show the regular Gas stations category in the Search menu
I'm driving an EV, so Waze replaced the Gas stations category in the search menu with "EV charging" on Android Auto. However, many EV charging stations in my country are in the middle of nowhere, or at least don't have a place to grab a quick bite or refreshing drinks like the regular gas stations have. I tried using the "Food" and "Coffee" categories, but they just search for restaurants or coffee places and are not suitable for a quick stop along the way. Also, I can't enter text in the search box while driving and I can't search for…

Make my Waze work. It requires a user agreement every time I start it.
Fix the Waze on the Android Nexus so that it starts every time without having to agree to a user agreement, logging in, getting a number etc. It is a pain and makes it useless.

Switching locations as easy as it is for Google Maps
If I'm currently at location A (say), the current version of Waze (for Android) don't allow me to explore the route between 2 other different locations (B & C say). It only uses my current location (A) to any other locations so could you please make it possible to have two search boxes to allow us to explore the route of any 2 locations (e.g. From B to C)?, and also make it easy to switch between these 2 locations by having a double headed vertical arrows that can be used to switch the locations with a single tap…
1 voteIt’s a bit tricky, but possible. Here’s the flow:
1. Select an address, which would be your starting point
2. On the preview location page tap on ‘More’ button (three dots), tap ‘Select as starting point’
3. Select an address which would be your destination
4. Tap ‘Go’ – Waze would calculate a route from selected start point to the selected destination point. -
Changer la façon d'indiquer une route bloquée. Après avoir constaté une route bloquée en roulant, il est quasi impossible de la signaler.
On devrait pouvoir signaler une route bloquée en dehors de la zone où on se trouve pour pouvoir le faire après un trajet. C'est difficile de le faire en roulant et ilpossible avec Android Auto.

Audio alerts for speed and red light cameras
My audio alerts for speed and red light cameras stopped working a few months ago. I'm running waze directly on my phone (Google pixel 7) with the latest version of Android OS and waze app installed. My settings for alerts are correct. I see the flashing camera on the map and text alert on the screen but audio alerts are not working. I live in NYC where cameras are on every other block. Constantly monitoring the phone screen for visual alerts while driving is annoying and dangerous. I see lots of similar posts with replies from waze that the issue…

It's complain not suggestion
Although I adore the app, many local updates—particularly those regarding speed bumps and road closures—are absent.
When I attempted to assist with map updating, your editor volunteer sent me a message with instructions, which are

Fix Waze!
Fix Waze! Waze, Pixel 4XL, Android Auto, 2018 Chrysler Pacifica - when using navigation, Waze freezes, goes blank, restarts multiple times. This is a known issue that has gone unchecked for MONTHS. It makes driving dangerous!

Wenn während der Fahrt der Kraftstoff knapp wird, kann man in der App nach Tankstellen in der Nähe suchen und zur Route hinzufügen.

Please bring Parking recommendation back
In the past, on Android Auto when searching for a destination, the parking locations nearby used to show up. Now after an update sometime back (don't know if it is a Waze update or Android Auto update), this is no longer the case. Instead, you have to start navigating to your destination and then Search>Categories>Parking to see this.
And to make it weird, the behaviour here is a hit and miss, with most of the times when this is selected, it returns a 'No Items' message (especially if I am logged in to my account)

CarPlay notifications on home screen
On Android Auto the home screen provides speed/hazards notifications on the main screen. Can this be added into CarPlay via the home screen instead of having to have the app on full screen to see notifications.

Waze carpool to use its own time settings
When trying to create a carpool ride, the android app seem to pull time information from the device itself which creates issues when the time settings do not match the time zone. What we select is not in local time and also not in the entered timezone. It is a mess. Why not the app use its own time settings internally. I am also using scoop app and it works without any of these timing issues. Due to this I could not create carpool ride requests in Waze as it is showing some other time rather than local time that…
