   I was in Austria and in a section of 100km/h with the IG-L supplement, I didn't know if it applied to me and when I was driving 130km/h waze didn't warn me that if my car runs on gasoline, it applies to me. It would be good, even if this tab is not active down in one strip, to explain to everyone what it means if it happens to light up in this section. In the settings, there is the type of vehicle and the preferred gasoline, and from that this information could be clear that it concerns me. So please, in the given area, 100 would be displayed below in a red circle and IG-L, if it lights up, you have to go 100 km/h. This would not be shown for electric cars because it does not apply to them.

   And one more observation.
   In one section down the hill, about 7 km long, there was a 100 km/h sign on the freeway and a measurement of about the distance between vehicles, 2 seconds of driving between vehicles. On the Waze screen, I saw a vertical green bar on the left, but it would be good to permanently warn at the bottom of the measurement of 2 seconds of driving, or an image with two cars and arrows between them with 2s on the arrow.

   I really like using this application and I was very pleased with the improvements, specifically 50 in the circle and the note that after *** m the speed will be reduced. It really saves gas and brakes, because if I'm 90 km/h and I take my foot off the gas, I arrive at the village at just 50-60 km/h.

2. Automated Incident Emergency Detection & Location Screen Change and 3 type descriptor

   Unless it is your day job, and even then, most people faced with an emergency situation either as a victim or a witness, especially in a vehicle, will suffer immense rushes of adrenaline pumping around the body, any injuries invoke confusion as delayed shock sets in.

   Is there/ can there be any rapid single panic-proof (user option selected) - such as 5 second hold of fingers on the screen in two places simultaneously or gyroscopic sudden impact detection via phone or user holds max/min volume buttons at their max point for a duration (viz like Apple power down) - depending on user settings, additionally, such detection automatically engages the phone torch in user chosen: static, various rates of flashing or SOS. An EMS (country specific) CALL single button press, combined with further settings-related onscreen depiction graphics and text of the INCIDENT LOCATION, directions to then be boldly shown in large simplistic unfussy print on the screen- displaying three of the most common used international location descriptors: 1. What Three Words 2. Long/latitude coordinates 3. descriptive language versions e.g. “I am northbound on the XYZ nn miles from the xyz slip road opposite ZYX building “ combined with options such as send via SMS option &/or turn on handset camera (where applicable) to live link the incident scene for disaster planning teams assessments if necessary. Such crisis do not offer those present with clear thought either the victims or witnesses as shock sets in, and by providing easy-read, unfussy screen display, such pinpoint accuracy, that they can recite to the other end of the call, valuable minutes will expedite all emergency services response and potentially save lives and limbs, Most of these suggestions I envisage to be user settings selected as to how the user is automatically impacted with the change of screen in such situations. It could vary from a small overlaid window with just the 3 location options, all the way to a full EMS window with all options and flashing torches. Either way, in an emergency, something will help those present in providing essential location detail in those crucial minutes. If there is to be an option for ‘voice activated control’ then the initial part should be automatic from the AI not the user, in case they are incapacitated or unable to speak; the AI should time-out to non-vocal after a period so anyone in vision of the display can see the location, in case they are unable to move, but can use their own phone to call EMS instead.

3. Restore and add more alert choices and sub-choices - make the last more visible

   Hello, Waze. For unknown reason to us, your users, you are lowering the variety of the alerts that could be reported and/or their sub-options. The most striking example is the police reporting option where it is not possible to report a police from the other side. Please restore it. Please, add the following reports:
   1) stationary speed camera
   1.1) please add a detail about the direction the already added stationary speed cameras are pointing at - towards the incoming cars or at the same direction of the road lane group. Also add this as an option for the ones that one can add manually.
   1.2) Add a notice if the radar is new - e.g. less than a month-3 old so that one's attention can be better caught.
   2) mobile speed camera - there are police patrols installing mobile speed cameras that have a 600 m range
   3) speed camera signs - sometimes a stationary speed camera is missing but a warning sign is put to denote such
   4) toll tax patrols
   5) vehicle moving illegally in the opposite traffic direction - we have more and more frequently such cases here in Bulgaria
   6) burning car - especially this one since this way people can gather and help; I see there is an option to request help but does this option signal other Waze users or some road assistance from the country at hand?
   7) broken road - partially/fully, current/opposite direction lane
   8) protests

   Also noticed the following issues:
   1) Waze sometimes doesn't signal for radars earlier on but 200 meters before one reaches them. That wouldn't be much of an issue if the radar is pointing in the direction of the lane but would surely be if it points in the opposite direction. In all cases, it is best to signal for the radar 1 km before.
   2) Please make stationary and mobile radars standout more. Sometimes the avatars of the Wazers overlap them.
   3) Please better differentiate traffic light camera and speed radar. When I see red-light camera what I think of is a infrared speed radar. Even its pronounciation in Bulgarian is misleading - translated it means: traffic light camera. Ok, so that is a speed camera mounted on a traffic light or a camera that only detects vehicles that have passed through the traffic light when it was red? Please differentiate them better - both visually and audibly.
   4) The sub-options of a report have a very pale selection indicator - one can hardly see what sub-choise (s)he has made since the selection indicator on the light theme is just very very tainted - a very light gray on white background. Please use your Waze blue color as a selection background, for instance, so that one can distinctly see the selected sub-option of the report (s)he is currently doing
   5) Several times Waze is losing direction - it cannot detec the direction in which I am moving

4. Expand search results

   Make search results expandable. I was searching for the Physicians Offices at a large hospital. Search results showed ~ a dozen entries for that hospital, but you could only see the name of the hospital in the results. Had to select each result until I found the one I needed. Any result would have got me close enough, but there was one address for the main hospital, one for ED, one for PT, one for Physician Clinics .... Each at the same general location, but takes you to the correct faciility entry for the desired department. It would have made my search a ton easier if I could of clicked a + symbol to expand what was not visible, as opposed to having to open each entry up, go back a search again, and finally get to the one I wanted.

5. New London Sound Pollution Cameras!!

   Due to complaints from residents, In London, especially in Kensington and Chelsea, there are now cameras which give fines to drivers based on the loudness of their vehicles. We need to add these cameras to Waze.

7. Crosswalk Alert (Visual + Optional Voice)

   Marked pedestrian crosswalks are among the highest-risk points where vehicles and pedestrians interact, especially at night, during poor weather, or in areas with weak lighting.

   Introducing a Crosswalk Alert — a small on-screen icon with an optional short voice cue such as “Pedestrian crossing ahead” — would provide drivers with earlier situational awareness without affecting routing. Activated only on verified crosswalks, this alert would function similarly to existing permanent notifications such as speed bump warnings, hazard alerts, camera notifications, and other fixed safety cues.

   Such an alert would reduce reaction-time delays, improve driver readiness in limited-visibility areas, and help prevent common collision scenarios at pedestrian crossings. Overall, this represents a low-complexity yet high-impact enhancement that directly strengthens Waze’s hazard-prevention capabilities and improves safety for all road users.

8. Object on road warning often delayed resulting in warning too late to be effective

   The timing of object on road needs to be changed for better pinpointing location. More often than not, you are reporting while you are right on top of the situation. Traffic maybe darting around it, and do not have the benefit of seeing it early like vehicles on the side of the road because it's obscured by other vehicles in travel lanes. This causes the reported location to be late and less accurate to its actual location. This results limited effectiveness of a very important tool.

   Good day
   When the maps open up there is no visible clock to see the time. Would it be possible to display the time on the maps screen as well.
   Especially in vehicles that does not have.

10. Reports and Hazard Alerts

    Speed camera alerts or warnings should sound regardless of the speed travelling. I would rather know something is there even if under speed. GPS speed monitoring is not as accurate as a vehicles speedometer, it's usually 5mph out.

11. Roll back android auto update

    its broken to the point that its completely unusable in a 10 gen civic.

    the resolution seems to be set far too large for the small center console screen. What shows is a button that is far tool to show it appropriately, and the map looks like...well around the edges of the button you can sort of see some map and it seems to zoom really far out (while city driving).

    you cant see anything, around whatever button that is, let alone use it for anything.

    to make it worse, someone bright idea to make it default to have buttons for home or work directions, is up almost all the time.
    Who needs directions to places they drive to at least once everyday? who i ask you? why are those buttons taking up a quarter of the screen?

12. Vox activated hazard reports in AA

    Introduce voice command reports for road hazards available for users using Waze on Android auto on their vehicle's head unit. This would mean that drivers don't have to hunt and peck through the hazards menu.

13. PLEASE add ability to mark lanes!

    Please add ability to mark which lanes are affected by reports especially crashes, stopped vehicles, debris/hazards and closures! Being able to quickly and easily navigate away from a problem would be a HUGE benefit over all other navigation apps!😊

14. Ability to add an E-Z Pass discount

    Where I live there are E-Z Pass discount programs depending on where you live. For example, because I live in a certain town, I get a discount on one of the tolls that I have to drive to get out of town. Normally, the toll is $1.25 but I only have to pay 10 cents. I feel like Waze often doesn't suggest that route because there is a large toll but for me there isn't so I'd rather go that way than a round about way to avoid the toll. And yes, I do know about the setting of avoiding tolls and I don't have that setting on for Waze to avoid tolls. But I feel like it doesn't offer me that route often because there is another round about way that avoids the toll but often adds a few minutes to the drive.

15. Bubble android auto

    Hello,
    I use Waze for my work.
    On the touch screen of the car, when I press on a road it is highlighted in blue but the bubble to press "GO" does not appear as on the smartphone application.
    I have the same problem with different brands of vehicles.

    I know people generally tend to post where police cars are, but this can sometimes be inaccurate due to them moving around (highway patrol and police camera vehicles). Maybe a highlight on the map where reports are generally made frequently

17. Convoy

    Convoy Feature
    A set of features to allow a group of travellers to monitor/follow each other via the Waze App. Many holiday makers, but also clubs & professional organisations often need to travel together, and need to be able to track & monitor that the "convoy" members remain together, and is up to date on the latest location, destination, as & when things may change or issues may arise.
    Up to 6 Wazers can enable "participation" (location sharing) with a "Leader" that would invite them to join a "convoy".
    Each Wazer can then see/monitor the other vehicles & leader, and be sure to follow the same path/direction as the leader.
    Within the MAP View the 5 other Wazers would be visible as small icons on the map( depending on zoom)
    Each wazer would see the path/route to the "Leader" as default (top of the list), but could select any member of the "convoy" if needed (perhaps they are lost or have an issue) which would then display a path/route to that wazer.

    I could see this being used by casual users, clubs & prefessional organisations.

18. Permanent “End of Pavement” Alert

    In several regions, especially on state highways and rural roads, there is an abrupt transition in pavement—for example, the end of the asphalted section and the beginning of a dirt or basalt-stone road. These sudden surface changes can catch drivers by surprise, particularly during low-visibility hours, adverse weather conditions, or on higher-speed roads.

    Technical and Road Safety Justification:
    Changes in pavement type can pose significant risks to drivers, such as:
    Rear-end collisions, when the vehicle ahead suddenly slows upon noticing the change in pavement;
    Loss of control and roadway departures, due to loose gravel, irregularities, or reduced traction on dirt or basalt surfaces;

    Increased braking distance, especially when transitioning from asphalt to a more unstable surface.
    A similar situation is already recognized by road authorities, and several highways physically signpost “End of Pavement.” The alert would follow the same usability logic and importance as the current “Sharp Curve,” “Complex Intersection,” and other warnings already implemented in the app.

    Implementation Proposal:
    Create a new type of permanent alert that allows editors to map points where the following occurs:
    End of asphalt pavement, or
    Transition to gravel/basalt stones/compact dirt.

    This alert would be displayed to drivers with adequate advance notice, allowing for planned speed reduction and improved operational safety, aligning with good practices in road signage and accident prevention.

19. On Navigation preferences

    Could you add an “Avoid Parkways”feature?
    Small commercial vehicles like pick up trucks and small vans are not allowed in parkways in Ct and NY and it’s really complicated to move around those areas because Waze will calculate all routes using the Parways.

20. Alternative Routes Button: Force a Short Detour Option (Skip Next 1-2km of Active Route)

    I confirm that I checked if this idea has already been posted, and did not find it: :whitecheckmark:

    My suggestion is for the following feature:
    The alternative routes button should provide an additional option to force a short detour for the next 1-2 km from my current position, bypassing a portion of the active route, regardless of whether the detour is optimal, slower, or less preferred.

    My suggestion solves this problem:
    Currently, alternative routes only offer optimal paths for reaching the destination. Sometimes, however, I need to skip only the next few kilometers of the route—especially if there is traffic, an accident, or a stopped vehicle that Waze is not aware of. In these situations, I need a quick way to temporarily deviate from the planned route, even if the detour is not optimal for the entire journey.

    In more words:
    Many times I’ve experienced situations where, due to local hazards or traffic not recognized by Waze, I want to simply skip the immediate next part of my route (1-2 km ahead) before returning to the suggested path. Alternative routes offered by Waze do not help here, as they usually provide only entirely different overall routes and do not allow for these short, forced detours. A button that forces a brief local detour, even if suboptimal, would greatly improve safety and flexibility.
