Flag UR reports
I would like the feature to be able to flag a UR report. This way, volunteers can reply to a UR normally. If the UR is about something that the volunteer cannot fix, allow them to have an option to flag the report with a "level needed" option, so the volunteer can put in which level volunteer is needed to fix the UR.
(I am aware that we have the unlock requests forums, but possibly add the flagged reports to the level that the volunteer requested's feed.

Wildlife Collision Hazard Areas
Wildlife, especially deer, are a significant hazard to drivers in many parts of the world. Collisions with deer account for one to two million insurance claims each year in the US alone. While wildlife on the roadway is harder to anticipate than other hazards, authorities do know of specific areas, times of year, and times of day that drivers are at increased risk of collision. Please let us mark these hazard areas (with the times of year and times of day they should be "active" to avoid hazard-alert fatigue) to communicate this risk to drivers. Both drivers and wildlife will…

Draw City Boundaries More Accurately
Currently City Boundary layers are not drawn precisely, which can result in the wrong city name being displayed to users in the app. I continue to get URs on this regularly in my area.
This issue seems to be seen commonly when cities are divided by an undulating river. Users should not be shown that they are in a city that they are not in. The system to "draw" the city layer should rely on more data points to draw a more accurate city layer. I will attach screenshots to show this more clearly.https://www.waze.com/en-US/editor?env=usa&lon=-122.59338&lat=49.19848&zoom=2

URs should show anonymized but user-unique handle for reporter
The current 100% anonymity of UR reporters makes it impossible for editors to detect reporting patterns of specific Wazers. If URs showed a fully anonymized but user-unique handle for the reporter, editors could identify problematic or abusive patterns. This would save editors time and energy, and allow them easily to report such patterns to community leadership or to Waze for potential action.
Specifically, editors have long suspected that certain Wazers may: (1) repeatedly flag an issue, or a kind of issue, on which they refuse to accept the editing community's past analysis; (2) submit multiple URs for no clear reason,…

About adding a river in the waze editor
About adding a river in the waze editor
It takes a very long time to add a river
I think it would be easier if you could write a river as easily as you would write a road.

conditional tolls
There are some toll segments that go pretty paralell to the public roads, so time savings are more related to traffic (<5 min when comparing vs toll roads).
Waze always will choose the toll segment but for a regular wazer time savings will not be enough to use toll vs public road.
A conditional that let waze to avoid tolls when savings are less than X minutes will help wazers pockets.4 votes -
Option to avoid/allow tolls for current trip only (instead of having to dig in settings)
I'll describe the use-case with an example:
User selects a route without Tolls
Route gets recalculated (wrong turn/closure/traffic/preference)
New route includes Tolls
There are 2 workarounds currently. Either check the route repeatedly and make sure the route is indeed avoiding tolls, or go into settings and enable the avoid tolls toggle (and remember to disable after the trip). My suggestion is to avoid tolls for the current trip only (or allow if the toggle is on the other position).
Happy to hear your feedback and discuss.

Disable lane guidance on some intersections
It would be great to disable lane guidance on some intersections, so the user will not view the next lane guidance until he cross the intersection.

Closing URs that are no more in your editing area
I can edit the area of a UR when I first answer it because it is in my edit area. But sometimes I do reach the expiry date of the editing area in the middle of working on this UR. Because of that, I can't even close the UR I started working on.
It would be great if there will be an option to close a UR you started working on even if this UR is now outside of your editing area.29 votes -
Map Editor: Check level abuse / change policy to gain better level
On Map Editor it's near to impossible to gain better level.
Some users are usual to block to level 3,4 or 5 segment like dead end street in residential area or park path. If you ask to unlock a segment, nobody do it or maybe somebody "steal" the update.
So high rank users get every day more point, for user also with map competence it's an infinite purgatory.

Seasonal Roads
In almost every climate, there is some time of seasonal weather condition that closes roads at least temporarily during a season.
For example, in the winter, some municipalities will not plow certain roads where the roads are not servicing any addresses. These roads are legally open, but may not be passable by most vehicles except during periods of melt or the end of the season melt. In other areas, seasonal rains or snowmelt mean that dirt roads are impassible to most vehicles several days at a time due to mud, but are usable in drier spells during that season. Because…

Real Speed in WME
It would be nice if one could specify the real speed in WME. The official speed limit is sometimes much higher than the real speed one can drive on certain roads (road condition, etc). Having these too high speeds results in incorrect route calculations. One could say that the algorithm should fix this, but that doesn’t seem to happen and one gets slower routes offered, based on incorrect info. Tools from the competition offer an option to enter real speeds.

Symbol for Restrictions that repeat annually
Currently, the restrictions that are repeated annually are indicated as those that have expired with the yellow triangle.
It would be very useful to differentiate the restrictions that have actually expired from those that are not currently active but are repeated annually.12 votes -
Roundabout instruction at dead end streets
Disable roundabout instruction at the end of dead end streets. In our country it is extremely rare to have a dead end street (cul-de-sac) ending with a roundabout, at the same time Waze app often suggests to drive to the end of a nearby cul-de-sac and make a u-turn in order to switch direction.

Route of Last Resort RTC
Ability to create an RTC (or TBSR) that will permit routing on the segment as a last resort (effectively make it a PR from a penalty perspective).
This would be very helpful for soft construction closures that are marked "local traffic only"

Remove RS update location on https://www.waze.com/fr/user/editor/*
Since RS are in wme, on the editor page those edition are link to 0,0 position.
Would it be possible to improve the visualization of these editions because it affects the readability of the map?20 votesPlease provide more information, including screenshots to illustrate the issue.

UR Reply via Email
This is slightly outside the scope of WME Beta, but in general about our ability to provide a better service for end users.
Allow users to reply to URs via email. Many support systems allow this, and in most cases, the process is fairly simple. The process might be as follows:
- User submits a request/issue from the app while they drive
- We (editors) get a pin on the map with submitted details as before
- User gets an email with a unique response email address (something like 8766123133@requests.waze.com)
- User gets instructions on how to view the map issue they submitted
