the ability to exit navigation without shutting down the app
just allow us to exit the navigation to and choose a new place instead of the app closing and have to open it again

I want a button to be added to the app to switch between 3D and 2D
I would like to see a button added to the map screen to quickly switch from 3D to 2D and from 2D to 3D.

Editors' 2do List
Basically having a special context menu or "Editor Report" that will help us remember things to fix once we go into WME. So, this is a communication from production application to WME.
Sometimes we drive and find an error or something that needs to be fixed. so it would be valuable to have a pin, with text or voice notes that would give me details on what to fix so I can go to this list or this special type of reports once I go to WME.

Switch the report hazard and speedmeter icons around
I just thought it'd make sense to switch the icons around because as a right hand side drive, I want my speed closer to my eye line.

Adding Traffic Lights to the Map
It would be very helpful if Waze displayed traffic lights on the map. This feature would allow drivers to better anticipate delays at intersections, adjust their speed smoothly, and avoid sudden braking or collisions. It would also improve the accuracy of travel time estimates and help Waze suggest alternative routes that avoid long red lights or heavy congestion. Additionally, showing traffic lights would assist drivers in timing their turns more effectively, reducing the chance of missing them due to unexpected stops or light changes.

Currently, only a maximum of 2 routes can be used, but please increase this to a maximum of 20 routes.

Better UX for WME boxes
Since Firefox hides the scrollbar when it'**** in use, some of the boxes in WME may contain more than the visible lines, but it's not immediate.
For instance, in the suggestion recap box, or in the Add Menu.I'd suggest adding a scrolling shadow, showing a shadow on the top when there is more content on the top and on the bottom when there is more on the bottom.

Will be good if we can use waze for commercial vehicle
My idea is if waze can be using for commercial vehicles please like a vans for a lorry will be little complicated but not impossible because a lot of people like me every day on the road with commercial vehicle will be good if we can get extra help with the new restrictions ,cameras, speed limits and alternative roads to rich end destination. Show Where Community Schedules Are Used
In the Community Schedules section of the Waze Map Editor, please make the "Used In" count clickable or provide a way to show a list of school zones using a specific schedule. Currently, it only shows a number, not the actual locations. Recently, I was trying to find a school zone with an incorrect schedule so I could remove it and then delete the Community Schedule, but I couldn’t locate it even after searching an entire province and four major cities.

Calques Cadastre
Bonjour, dans les calques, comme Géoportail le fait déjà, pourquoi ne pas proposer le calques du cadastre ?

Support optional "display name" specifically for Area Places
The "name" field of an Area Place serves two completely separate functions. First, it seeks to form, together with the address, a unique search hit; this could involve a lot of text. But second, it displays on the app for everyone nearby.
Most drivers probably don't care about detail in the displayed name; for them, excessive detail may distract rather than help. For example, in some countries editing conventions dictate that rest stops along freeways should have highly detailed primary names in order to make them useful search hits, such as:

Il serait interessant de pouvoir mettre plusieurs étapes sur un trajet. en effet cela permettait de faire des road trip en moto
Pour des sorties moto ou voiture de collection avec des cols par exemples ou des étapes de villages historiques. On pourrait partager le parcours entre amis et planifier sur le site web

Exportable Layer
The consulting firm I work with does a lot of travel demand model updates and we use the Waze Map Editor quite a bit to update our network's posted speed. We would love to see a feature that allows for the exporting of a selected region's posted speed network to help make these speed updates more efficient. Is this a feature Waze can do now or possibly look into in the future?

keyboard shortcut for adding POI
A significant workflow inefficiency within the Waze Map Editor (WME) currently stems from the lack of keyboard shortcuts for adding Points of Interest (POIs). Users are required to rely solely on mouse interaction – hovering over the POI menu and clicking the desired category – every single time they need to add a new point.
This becomes particularly tedious for editors who frequently utilize specific categories. For instance, I personally rely heavily on the 'OTHER' POI category. This isn't for standard points, but rather as a necessary workaround to map complex Residential Place Points (RPPs) or House Numbers (HNs) that…39 votesGreat timing!
