Allow Editors to Set Functional Status of EV Charging Stations
When mapping EVCS, I've noticed that there are comment sections on charging stations like PlugShare that allow users to share their experience using the stations, specifically if it's working or not. Would like to propose that apart from the comments, we can add in a functionality for editors to set the status of these charging stations based on user reports or own knowledge. As a result, users can see clearly the status of each charging station even before they navigate to the charging station, saving frustration when the station is unserviceable. Vivo in svizzera. In questo paese la velocità consentita cambia molto frequentemente (specialmente in corrispondenza di lavori stradali) e questa cosa non va molto d'accordo con il fatto che qui sia consentito mettere autovelox senza alcun avviso. sarebbe fantastico se potessimo correggere i limiti di velocità in tempo reale per garantire la migliore informazione possibile a tutti.

Ability to turn off notifications for individual cameras that you regularly encounter
I drive past a specific speed camera every single day - I know it’s there! It would be good if you could stop notifications for individual cameras that you know about - a “Got it - don’t notify about this again” button would really help!

Make lanes for highways so we know which lane we are supposed to be in
Update the map by making heavy detail in highways and making the map 3D. Like apple maps how they did it. Also, let us put how long construction on roads should last, or how long you would be in traffic for. I also would like you guys to add how to get inside water parks, like Soak City at Knotts berry farm in california. Thank you.

A desktop app for WME
We have a webapp as our WME. But, at least in my experience, it is very buggy sometimes and consumes lots of RAM. I believe there should be a desktop app (mind you, not just a iframe in a exe, but a quality app) since it would be faster, snappier and easier. Regarding extensions -- I think they should be a part of the WME, not just a addon. It simply doesn't make sense to have to install dozends of extensions to have a better environment if it could be integrated.

Emergency vehicle specific routing
Emergency vehicle specific mode. I suggest creating an emergency, or non-emergency mode, which takes into account the physical size and weight of an emergency vehicle along with handling characteristics and a local jurisdicitons guidelines for how emergency vehicles can and should be operated.
These are then used to feed you directions that are ideal for your emergency vehicle taking into account shortcuts, restricted access routes etc.

Tell the editor why they can't edit Far Lanes
If you're below the required editor level to edit Far Lanes, then the Far Lanes interface is visible to you when editing Lane Guidance, but it's dimmed out - and there's no explanation why. For example, in Australia, Far Lanes requires Level 4 or higher - but nowhere in the Waze Map Editor does it mention this. For the user editing, the Far Lanes interface just appears greyed out for them for no apparent reason.
All that needs to be added is some kind of message that says "You need to be a higher level to edit Far Lanes" whenever…

Show stop points in the House Numbers layer
The House Numbers layer currently displays only the location of the HN, but not the stop point on the related segment. In HN editing mode, when you select the HN, the stop point also becomes visible, with a dotted line from the HN to the stop point. Suggestion is to display the stop point and the dotted line as part of the House Numbers layer, even when not in HN editing mode. (This might either be visible only at a high-enough zoom level, such as 18, or be an option that the user could enable from the layers menu.)

Closed Place - Permanent/Temporary
Suggestion:
"Place Closure" Feature.
Please provide an option for editors to mark any place as closed, preferably with permanent closure or temporary closure options. Based on these two choices, branching options should be displayed.
For example, if a place is marked as permanently closed, the reason should be displayed along with an option to delete the place from the map.
If it is temporarily closed, options for duration and reason should be shown.Additionally:
Display a warning to drivers before starting the journey, along with a red icon indicating that the place is closed.Many people I have spoken to…

Being able to add construction just like road closures
When you make a closure through the app or through WME , you are able to select one whole segment / multiple segments to apply the road closure on.
My Idea is that reporting construction would work just like reporting/making a closure, or probably giving the user the option to just place a warning or to select a whole road segment to add the construction to
And like european maps (from germany and nearby) , the whole segment should be covered in orange and white strips... Just like road closures but orange instead of red!

Emergency Closures and Events/accident reporting
Allow users to add more than one section of road to a road closure.
It would be good if emergency closures would show up in the app to influence driving directions, and if we could report closures longer than one section of road.
I was driving somewhere on the weekend, and there'd been a fatal accident on the Highway at 2 am, but Waze still told me to drive using that section of the highway.
When I looked the accident had been reported on the app hours before I left, and there were comments on the accident about what sections…

Ethanol e85 Flex Fuel
Can Ethanol e85 icon for Flex Fuel cars be added to the fuel list on the app? I only see Regular Grade, Medium Grade, Diesel Grade and Premium Grade.

The Ability to add truck restricted routes so drivers do not get tickets.
As a truck driver, there are routes that are restricted to NO truck traffic. I have received tickets because I was not aware. Late at night it would nice to know if route is restricted because sometimes you cannot see posted signs until it is too late. It is too difficult to safely turn a big truck around past that point...
