Multilingual street names
Add the capability to add translations to street names so people who speak different/foreign languages can use the map. EX: In Israel, Google Maps has Anglicized street names, while Waze does not. As a result, the English-speaking voice in Waze cannot recite street names in Waze.
This feature would be of great use in NYC and other cities where there are plenty of ESL speakers and people who have very limited understandings of English. Spanish would be a great language to start with.

Suite/floor numbers
Add the ability for editors to add suite and/or floor numbers for establishments. This feature would be especially useful in NYC and other cities with lots of mixed-use development.

RESPOSTA MAPA EDITOR

Google Local
The Waze Map Editor should permit editors to pull place descriptions from Google Local Guides since Google acquired Waze. Waze already permits editors to use Street View info. Also, Google Local Guides is a crowdsourced project, just like Waze.

Increase Map Editor Feed filter capacity
I would find very useful to have available in the "Feed" of the editor the posibility of filtering, at least, per "Country".
71 votesGreat timing! We’re currently working on Increasing Map Editor Feed filter capacity. Keep an eye out for updates on the WME.

Automatic flag on unused places
Many places in the WME are not used for various reasons: The place was closed or moved, the place was created for an event that has passed, the place was wrongly created, the place exists but nobody uses it for routing. During the years, the number of such "garbage" places is growing, and will continue to grow forever.
There must be some way of cleaning these places from the map.
It is suggested that every place (excluding RPP and natural features) that nobody set it as a destination for 15 months, will be automatically flagged, with a reason that the…37 votesThanks for your feedback. Allow Map editor Zoom on mouse scroll to be disabled
When editing maps with my Mac and the attached Smart Mouse, the mouse scroll is extremely sensitive. The sensitivity causes the map to zoom in and out un-expectedly. It would be nice to be able to disable the mouse scroll --> zoom feature.

Editor-set time penalty on a segment
Waze currently routes by finding the fastest route, considering both the expected travel time and certain penalties. For example, navigating onto a private road adds a 2-hour penalty to the route, effectively forcing travel around that segment unless there is no other route.
My suggestion is that all segments have a Penalty attribute that editors can set in WME. Used thoughtfully, this penalty attribute could give the routing engine a nudge away from areas where, based on editors' local knowledge, traffic should generally not be sent.
For example, if all the segments into a residential neighborhood were assigned a 5…

add deny last modifications on edits and lock user liké first 10 edits
When we made modifications, add the ability to remove the edit, for exemple, an editor that does'nt came for a while doesn't know about new editing rules and made errors, if another find it, he could cancel the change, if there is more than 10% of the last 100 edit are refusée, then the user should need to pass 10 new validation before auto submitting...
That just need to be able on the 100 last updates or 30 last days25 votes -
Unlimited Sign for Germany
Hello,
in Germany, we have no speed limit on many roads. At the moment we do not enter a limit on roads without a speed limit. However, this often leads to confusion, because users do not know if a speed limit was not entered for a segment or if there is no speed limit on this segment.
It would be great if there was a possibility to enter a "unlimited sign" for Segments without a speed limit!
For example, you could simply insert a symbol like this "/" into the speed field in WME and in the Waze-App users get…

School zone
Ability to replace school zones, and online through the map editor to establish the school zone times. Allowing the mapping software to reroute out of a school zone . The ability to skip out of school zones like we do with toll roads.

Have an option to see the year of the Satellital Image shown in the WME
Always shows the actual year but not the year when was taken that Sat Image. Will be really helpful to know that.

Change timing of color change for URs in Feed in WME
Presently, the bubbles in the WME Feed for URs change to Orange around 6 or 7 days, and Red at 10 days, to indicate attention is needed for a stale UR. Most AMs think this timing is too long. Either set the color change to a standard enterprise-wide timing (4-7 seems to be the most popular), or allow editors to set the color changes to personal preference.

Give editors a pushbutton to clear the WME search location field
Please give editors the ability to remove the text that is already entered into the "search location" field. This could be as simple as when clicking to put the cursor in the field, all the text is highlighted so that you can start typing. Another option would be to give an icon that clears the field. Of note, the looking glass icon appears to do nothing, we could replace it with a clear field icon.

Turn on u-turns by default in WME
In those countries where u-turns are allowed please turn it on by default in the WME so I don't have to manually edit every time.

Map Editor - Change level restrictions/level tiers
Hi,
Currently many roads cannot be modified by level 1 editors(my case), in some cases you need even level 4 for highways. So when voluntier senior editors cannot be as active as they were in the past the maps are getting less precise time by time, and issues are not fixed/replied as soon as we would like.
The solution then is to grow our level but... for a level 4 I need 250,000 editions! This number is even more difficult to reach when an area is well completed and the only changes requested are to keep it updated. In this…

WME Restriction Layer and Invisible chat for newbies...
Hello everyone:
I don't know if there is a existent proposal (I checked it at the suggestion box and the forum) about a layer of the WME for newbies editors with Ranks 1 & 2.
For these ranks I propose remove avtivation layers (Connected users) and the Chat Invisible option.
¿Why?
Because some times when a newbie editor messes up the map and the advanced editor interacts with him does not respond the WME Chat instead following him elsewhere in the map the newbie does not see us because of the "Connected Users" layer is deactivated.

Update Request Submission Time
The submission time listed for URs SHOULD indicate the time the reporter clicks the report button in the app, NOT the time it is submitted/sent. The timestamp of sending is not as important as the timestamp when the button is pressed (i.e. for verifying Time Based TRs)

For PPs and APs, Open Hours add the option of Sunrise to Sunset. This is true for many parks and public places.
For Place Points and Area Points, Open Hours add the option of Sunrise to Sunset. This is true for many parks and public places.
