  1. Rearrange RoadShields by moving the boxes with the mouse.

    It would be really great, if we could move RS on WME. It's really tedious when you have to delete RS and search again just to change the order of them. How great would it be if we could rearrange the different RoadShield boxes by moving them with the mouse.

  2. Disc Parking / Parkscheibe / vulgo Parkuhr / disque de stationnement / Disco horario / Parkeringsskive / Pysäköintikiekko

    As payment method for parking lots & customer parking we need a disc parking option,

    as these are becoming very popular at stores. Additionally a field is required to set maximum parking time with the disc.

    Would be great if Waze would notify that a parking disc is needed if you reach such PLs

  3. Add Driving Restriction option to enable Toll flag for specific date / time / vehicle settings

    Driving Restrictions currently has Allowed, Toll Free, Prohibited
    But we also need an option to explicitly set Toll Enabled

    We have a road that operates as a Toll road for all vehicles 6-9am but then changes to not a Toll road (also for all vehicles) from 9:01am to 5:59am the following day.

    We can't use the Toll Free option as there isn't a subset of vehicles that are not charged a Toll during this time period.

    Also setting a Toll Free period 9:01 to 5:59 has no impact as the driving restriction is only checked during the hours its active…

  4. Message "Do not response by mail" when editor commented an update request

    When an editor commented in an update request there are hinds in the mail from waze the user should answer per app or at the WME. In my opinion it's urgent to make clear the response per mail is not working. There should be a hint: "Do not reply by mail, it will not be delivered!"

  5. Add a new UR Issue filter "Last comment by" - "Not Me"

    Please add a new UR filter in the "Last comment by" drop-down - called "Not me".

    In conjunction with the "Comment by me" filter, this will then allow me to see all URs that I have commented on in the past, but I wasn't the last person to reply. This will include the reporter and other editors.

    Currently, if I select Reporter, I cannot see URs that other editors have last commented on. If I select All, I will see them, but also all of my reports that I was the last commenter on.

  6. Show name of editor on expired closures

    The new status of real time closures in WME is good. It would even be better if we can see who the editor was who set the closure when the closure is expired; now this is not possible. That way you can liaise with the editor if a UR comes in relating to that closure.

  7. Adding a comment when requesting new aerial images

    When L6 editors request up-to-date images for the WME, it would be useful if they could write a comment (for example, for whom they have requested the images) and this comment should also reappear when they get the notification that the new images have been provided.

    It could also be helpful to have access to a list or map showing the areas that the new images were requested for so that new images are not requested for the same area by different editors.

  8. Editor visibility default state should be Visible (not invisible)

    Problem Description:
    I frequently see my status as invisible when logging into WME, even after I have previously explicitly set it to visible. The visibility appears to reset back to invisible after some time has elapsed, maybe a day or more, or perhaps it resets after session expiry. I am not certain exactly what criteria causes the visibility to reset back to invisible. I would much prefer to remain visible in WME without having to repeatedly check and manually set myself back to visible each time I authenticate or access WME.

  9. Allow combining chargers when merging EVCS

    When merging EVCS, give users the option to include both sets of chargers. For some reason, some networks (ahem, ChargePoint) sometimes list multiple charger sites in the same parking lot or garage. If we try to merge them, we have to select one or the other set of chargers. Please add an option to include both sets.

  10. Increase the number of things that can be modified at country management level.

    For example each of the road types creation, could be limited to an editor of a certain level.
    Similarly, the walking tracks, railroads, cameras, etc.

  11. Partners polygon layer

    Hello,
    Thanks to the Waze for Cities program, we are happy to have more and more partners, either for road management (Connected Citizens) or for event management (Global Event Partners).
    For those who do not know the details, you should know that a partner benefits from one or more polygons that characterize their rights area (data flows to or from Waze, closures, MTE).

  12. Warn if adding restrictions (bus, hov, ...) that applies to all lanes

    When adding restrictions to segment(s), the default selection in ENTIRE segment (in other words, all lanes).
    If, for some reason. the editor misses this setting, the segment will be excluded (by mistake) for navigation for certain vehicles.
    For instance, adding BUS lane for all lanes will prevent private cars from using this segment. This would lead to wrong and strange navigations.
    For that reason, and especially since, after saving, there is no visual mark in WME for this selection (ENTIRE vs specific lane) it is advised to add a popup warning message for these cases, like the warning message that…

  13. Receive reminder when closure will expire soon

    The ability when adding a closure to select a checkbox to receive a reminder notification a couple days before expiry would be really useful. Sometimes when adding closures we do not know when the road will reopen, so the closure is set for a week or a month. So it would be great to know when these closures are about to expire so we can check and extend the closure if needed.

  14. Change the wording in the automatic email when an editor comments on a UR

    When a user reports a map problem in the app, then an editor responds to it in the Waze Map Editor, the reporter gets an automatic email that says:

    "An editor from the Waze mapping community wants to solve the problem, but needs some more information.", followed by the editor's comment.

    The problem with this wording: This is not always true. If we can identify the cause of the report without needing clarification, then often we may simply use the comment box to thank the reporter for their report. Thus, the comment box isn't always used to ask for more…

  15. Segment history - moved house numbers

    When looking at segment history, you can see details of house numbers that have been added or removed. When the position of the house number is changed, the history says "House Number: Missing Data". It would be better to list the house number and that it was moved.

    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

    We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

  17. Disable segment geometry changes in House Number mode

    When in the "Edit House Numbers" mode, the Editor allows changes to segment geometry, but then generates an error when saving the changes. It is very easy to unknowingly edit segment geometry when trying to move a house number stop point. When this occurs, any HNs edited after that geometry change need reverted.

    Please disable segment geometry changes when in HN mode.

  18. JB, RRC, Camera: Edit only when the layer is on

    For Place you have to enable the layer. This is a good feature so you can‘t create something what is still there but hidden.
    Can you expand this also to JB, RRC, Camera?

  19. Recategorizing UR's when solving

    Add a feature to WME to recategorize the Solved UR's when closing those. This would give Waze a true insight of what reports are really needed and vice versa, what are rare and could actually just be within General Error category etc. Based on my research of all Solved UR's in Finland for last 3 months only about 50% were in right category.

    In my opinion this would help to reduce and refocus UR categories to better match with reality which in turn helps users when they are reporting meaning less UR's with wrong category -> Better data and better…

  20. POI's moving distance

    At the moment moving a POI have a distance limitation (2km I belive?) Sometimes when a business changes phisical place to another place, like 10km away, we need to move the POI like 2km, save, move again, save again...

    It makes no sense. Please remove it or allow us to move POIs further.
