    We plan to work on adding the average speed zone indication on screen to Android Auto in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

    As you are working on the Waze beacons for tunnels, this could solve this problem, since most of the telematic units in the cars can track the car's location in tunnels as well...
    and in general this would solve many issues... Cars are getting more and more "padded" on the inside and outside. Loosing gps signal during phone call is annoying as well and so on so on... Using the car's location data can hit many birds with one stone.
    PLease please get this tou your roadmap.
    As a product manager on mobility product I recommned this highly.
