Deleted road segment should reveal satellite map before saving (so it can be confirmed).
Currently, if you see a road segment you suspect is in the wrong place, you can delete it, but you can't see what's under the segment (on the satellite map) until AFTER you save...so if you're wrong, you need to re-draw the road, etc.

Show cost of travel (toll + fuel + maybe parking values).
When choosing a destination and between different paths, toll routes could have the cost of those tolls.
As an additional feature it could calculate fuel cost (having the car/engine information, average speed and total distance).1 voteThank you for your suggestion! Enable road closure selection for freeway offramps
when reporting a road closure there are little "X" marks all over the map but i never see one specifically for the freeway offramp. i have tried reporting freeway offramp closures several times around Los Angeles County (most recently on the 170 north Magnolia Blvd. exit) and the "X" never shows up for the offramp so i am unable to report. oddly enough i always see an "X" appear for freeway onramps, just never for the offramps.

Waze/ Carplay crashes at toll booths in Spain and France
Had Mercedes C300 rental car 2025, driving through Basque country in NE Spain and SW France. Ever since time I passed through a toll booth carplay and waze would crash and it would take some playing around to restart. Does anyone else encounter this issue? Major safety issue getting the app and carplay restarted. I think there may be a frequency from toll booths that disrupts the wireless carplay

road ahead preview button
I would like to have an on map button which, on hold or on press, will zoom out the map to show the entire route ahead.
Releasing or pressing again will go back to regular nav mode.
This is great for getting a sense of the route and not having to be constantly alert to input from the client (visual or auditory).

Comment on Road closures and detours
On Thursday night I was driving from Cremorne NSW to Bulli NSW. At approximately 7:30pm, I was navigated to drive down Bulli Pass, but there was a detour in place, and I had to continue on the freeway and detour and double back to Bulli.
How come Waze didn't know about this detour? How can one report whilst driving, that there is a road closure in place and detours set up?2 votes -
Tarhe Traffic (road limitation) in Tehran, Iran
Basically there are limitations on roads that you can have access to during the day in Tehran, Iran. There are areas that you can access only if you have the permit for the day and there are areas that you can access based on your plate ending number. So for example if you have even number ending plate then you can pas from these areas only on even days of the week.
These are issues that waze does not put into consideration while it is navigating and you can easily get fined by passing from these areas automatically.

Toggle current road to current town
There are many times as I drive through different states, that I want to know what town I’m currently in. Copilot, another GPS program, allows you to tap on the arrow (your location) and the display would toggle between current road and current town. This is especially useful when notifying a friend your location, or looking for a hotel/food.

Include toll tax and parking tax etc
I have an idea about include features like toll tax (remove fast tag), parking tax etc. I believe everyone compulsory to use this app by include this features with many benefits. I have a total procedure please give me a meeting or contact with me to understand total concept.

Allow user to report a road closure
The slip road we needed to go on had been closed but Waze didn’t know about it. Then no matter what you keep getting redirected. It would be good to click on the part of the route that is closed in order to report, as you have to drive past to a safe spot to try find a better route.

On some roads the application announces "N" or "S" or "E" or "W" instead of North, South, East and West. As an example: "Take NJ Turnpike N Cars Only towards ...."

Add road expected speed like how Google maps has, to the Waze Speedometer. That will help a lot.

Highlight Slow Traffic by Changing Road Colors
Currently, when there is traffic congestion ahead, Waze does not clearly change the road color on the map. Sometimes it only shows thin orange borders, which is not enough for the driver to quickly recognize the slowdown.
It would be much more effective if, whenever there is congestion or slow traffic, the road itself changed color (instead of remaining purple). This would make it easier for drivers to anticipate and react to traffic conditions without relying only on borders or icons.

Shorten clicks needed for reporting hazard on road/on shoulder.
When driving, trying to press the multi-clicks needed to report on road/on shoulder hazard is frequently impossible. With many states having the "move over" law, having ample warning for vehicles on the shoulder is critical. Would be nice to be able to customize one or two buttons to put on the Home Screen that can be activated with one click.

Split the long road into segments
There is only one option so far to see if there is a jam. The whole segment of the road between the junctions is marked as one piece.
It is probably fine with very short roads and many junctions, but when the road is long and there is only a relatively small problem - Waze is misleading.
Besides if I see the last metres before the junction to be red, I understand that there is a traffic light. When the whole street is red - there is a jam.

Capture Entry/Exit Locations On Tool Roads - California Visitors
When visiting California from out of state, toll roads come into play. Most often they are the most direct route. But the challenge is knowing when and where you have actually entered and exited them. So when you visit TheTollRoads.com to pay your toll, you need to know the date, time, entry point and exit point for the fare calculation. When approaching each HOT lane entry point tell me how much time I'll save by paying the toll, even if no time savings
In areas with parallel, optional toll/express lanes like Northern VA -
At EACH HOT(High Occupancy Toll)/Express lane entry point tell me how much time I will save by choosing the toll lane, even if that time is 0 or negative.
Ex. "Approaching entrance to a parallel Toll lane, at this time entering the toll lane is estimated to be 30 min faster than the regular lanes"
