    Disable street name bubbles from showing on the map, sometimes they really get in the way

    Allow the user to define an event such as playing one of your own sounds, display one of your own photos or play a music track at or near specific places. Example uses - get onto a fast stretch of road and your music changes, and changes back when you get into town again. Get a mile from a toll booth and a note appears telling you how much money to have ready. Drive near a grocer and your recording says "don't forget to get the eggs".   3. To have options to report unsafe areas (Eg.South Africa - Riots) so that tourists and people unaware don't drive into said areas

    I am from South Africa and unfortunately we often have riots and there are areas that aren't safe to drive. It would be good to have an option that allows this to be highlighted or reported (as we do with traffic) so people that are unaware don't intentionally drive into dangerous areas.

  5. Stop using last direction of travel to determine directions on startup.

    Waze should not use the last direction of travel for determining routes. Instead of routing 5 turns to go the opposite direction on a roadway, waze should just say "go east/west/north/south on xx" or just not have any audible direction and send you on the fastest path mid segment.

    "Estimated TIME in Traffic Jam NN-minutes" message should be extended with jam distance, like "Estimated TIME in Traffic Jam 10 minutes in 3 kilometers"

  7. Mute voice guidance near home/work‏

    Please have an option to mute the voice guidance in a radius of [X] distance from my home, and/or from work. Alerts should not be muted by this setting.

    It's annoying that I have to listen to voice guidance near my home -- I know how to get from my house to the main road, thank you very much! But turning the voice off and on again during the drive (during every drive!) is a nuisance and a safety risk.

  8. Add Soundcloud as one of the music player options to make a navigation voice and music pause a seamless driving experience

    It would be nice if Soundcloud was added to the music player list. There's so many other options on there but that's only only one that's missing that commonly used. It would be nice if it was added so the music music can pause and resume or lower for navigation directions.

  10. Use the telephone acceletor to get data about road quality

    Use the telephone acceletor to get data about the general quality of the road. I live near roads that your phone would be shaking constantly. The accelerometer can be useful to give an overall quality rating for each segment.

    Then waze could have an option prefer to choose good roads when routing.

  11. Dead animal option in hazards

    There have been several times where dead animals have been described as "objects". For example, today I saw someone's dog who had died on the road was described as an "object". As someone who is very upsetted by dead animals, I would like there to be an option for "dead animal" so I know not to look. I know there used to be an option for it, but now it seems to be gone.

  12. Fixed speed circle could be bigger

    Hi. I think the fixed circle that shows the maximum speed of the road on Android Auto could be bigger! Its really difficult for me to see the maximum speed of the road and I need get closer to the car display, what makes it dangerous while driving.

  13. CarPlay reporting button

    The buttons to report “Still There” and “Not There” are stacked vertically in CarPlay, this leads to accidentally pressing the wrong option a significant number of times due to a badly timed bump. If the buttons were next to each other this wouldn’t be an issue.

  15. Incorporate BMW/MINI Connected into Waze.

    I'm not suggesting that the map show on the screen, just the ability to report events and respond to questions such as traffic slowdowns. Ok, and maybe start nav...

    Much safer than having to look down at the phone.

  16. Voice audio sample

    When selecting a new voice it would be very convenient to have an audio sample play so we don't need to start a trip to hear what it sounds like.

    We plan to work on adding an option to hear Voice samples when choosing in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

  17. "Stop running in the background" switch on iOS

    Hi. I found that Waze continues to run and use GPS and 3G signal while backgrounded on the iPhone. This is catastrophic in our country for two reasons: 1. It keeps the phone very hot. 2. it uses data at about 0.15 USD/MB, thereby ticking down your data and using up your money. You have to explicitly turn it off or explicitly quit the app. There should be a switch that says, and is by default, set to "Do not run or use data or GPS in the background".   18. Voice commands when using Waze in Android Auto

    Please update Waze so that I can use voice to report hazards. When using Waze on my phone, I can report hazards via Google assistant but it does not work when using Waze in Android auto. I have to look away from the road and touch screen 3 different time to report a hazard. Very dangerous

  19. RV/Truck routing

    Any possibility in the future to be able to choose RV or Tractor Trailer as your vehicle then trigger truck routes that would send you around low clearances or sharp turns, step grades etc.?

  20. police

    Please reinstate the "Police on Other Side" feature. Reporting speed traps is the most useful reason to report police, and traffic moving in opposite direction will always be better suited to identify and report.
