I work in advertising. We have a partner who wants to show baners on waze. That promotes looking at your phone while driving. Well what if you could talk to Waze or they could ask you what you need as you're approcahing. For example: GPS/Smart Fence with voice command/recognition asking "do you need gas?" Y - "there is a __ station in .5 miles". N - no response. Same w/ ATMs and food. "Are you hungry?" Y - "there is___ restaurant __miles." Avoiding Via
At first step, the purpose of this list (or menu) is:
Any user to create a list of roads, streets, etc. that will be avoided by them, either by holes (poor maintenance) or Unsafe (crime) preventing Waze of create routes for such via.In a second step, the policies and area managers (Waze) create risk zones with respect to crime.

Use another source for the maps (other than google maps)
I see that for some,the fun in waze is making and editing the map, thats cool. but in the area im in, there arent many users of waze, and there are a lot of streets. and there have been times (infact every time so far) where i have set a destination, only for it to not be found.
Some apps (mapquest) use openstreetmap maps (http://openstreetmaps.org). Do their terms of service fit better with waze terms of service?
as i understand it, that is why google maps arent used as a base.

Tell the user where he is right now
While driving on a long trip I sometimes didn't even know what city I was in. My car's built-in gps (outdated) has a button that I can push that shows approx address and city. Even street/intersection and city would be good enough.

באג מוזר, בוחר מסלול גרוע
כשאני יוצא משפירים לכיוון ירושלים כשברצוני להכנס לנתיב המהיר והיעד שלי הוא תל אביב, הווייז שולח אותי לעשות פרסה במחלף לוד במרחק של יותר מעשר קילומטר. במקום לאפשר לי להכנס למסלול לתל אביב בגשר שבנתיב המהיר. מדובר בגשר הפתוח חינם לכל הרכבים לאו דווקא בהכרח כניסה לנתיב המהיר. אגב, כאוטובוס הייתי מצפה שיאפשר לי לנסוע בנתיב המהיר.

Car-pooling feature
If waze is saying that it is real time it should be realtime, and not delayed by several minutes.
Car pooling feature should be added! To this there are several problems/issues.
i should be able ta preplan a route. Then hit go when i need it. I dont have the time to put in the different adresses every morning.
i should be able to navigation to a moving target. If im to pickup someone he May not be at his house. He may have walked to a place where it is easier for me to pick him up.

Let the customers move the indicator if it is incorrect
Sometimes you write an address but you know that the indicator is in other number of the same street. It would be nice if you can move the indicator to the correct place as in Google Maps
