Waze is the best driving app. One problem is that Waze will say that a street is 250 feet away, but it's wrong. The street is much closer. I've missed many turns because I went by Waze's foot count. This happens all the time. So now I look for the street, rather than pay attention to Waze's number, which is a little more work. Please figure out how to make Waze more precise so that it correctly tells how many feet away a street is.

user needs
It seems to me it would be useful (and a good use of Google's AI) to be able to state my "Need" to Waze and have it solve it for me. For example, I would love to be able to say:
1) Me: "Waze, I'm hungry":
2) Waze: "Of the 3 restaurants on your favorites list, I see the most convenient one is along your route in 6 miles, or, further along your route is Restaurant #2. Does one of those sound good ?This would be much more convenient than trying to yell at Siri to find the "Nearest…

Congestion color code
I recommend the color of the road be shown based on the current speed motorist are experiencing; potentially if traveling at or above the speed limit, green, 10% below orange, 20% below yellow, and 30% or lower red.

The possibility to scan/photograph an address.
It would be great to search an address by photographing/scanning an address from the search box. For example, if you have a business card, or a flyer and you want to navigate to the address on the card/flyer.
Open Waze client > go to Search > Hit the search bar and have the option to scan/photograph an address.
Having the local settings, one should be able to determine the format the address is printed in. And having a solution like OCR be able to use that as input for the Waze search bar.Kind regards,

Alerting
I was driving in Chicago today and Ashland Ave is closed over the bridge. Since I was driving by myself I couldn't report on the go as I don't use my phone while driving. I was hoping that there is a way to still report that is is closed to warn people not to get off of 55 and head west on Ashland Ave.

השם השתנה לפני מספר חודשים. תשומת הלב שקיים רחוב עופרית וכן סמטת עופרית סמוך לרחוב זויתן שלא שינו את שמם (כך שנדרש לשנות רק את זה שמוביל לרחוב סהרון)

This is a dangerous rubbish!
At the first try warning 3 times for nothing - for example a parking truck on a sideroad was an "issue" - and estimated heavy traffic on the way. Luckily I follow google app and there was practically nothing on the road! Idiot crap application so far! Advise for developing? Give up and close this app, here no more misleadings and unnecessary warning stress - and go to learn how a proper navigation app must have to operate. Fix bugs
- Does not send ETA (twice sent EAT to my wife, she never received it).
- Freezes when trying to take picture of the destination place.

please do something about that new zoom button
this new one is too small and doesn't stay up on + or - very long. I have stare at the screen way too long to use it. kind of dangerous IMHO

Ideas for improving the application
Good Morning,
1 return the notice to opposing tracks as it is very useful to help prevent accidents
2 include button to inform of the track speed (most informed contain errors)
3 warning when the speed exceeded and (now have to use the Radar Map in conjunction with Waze or GPS)
4 record offline radar accidents and events for our mobile signal is very flawed and often not receive important notices.
5 bug fix when we long time no internet signal Waze does not recognize the signal return which sometimes only makes an application reset

Disallow all undriverable from being connected to roads to prevent routing errors
Walking trails, boardwalks, stairwell (why does this exist) and railroads SHOULD NOT be permitted to be connected to a junction point on a highway, primary road, street, service road or ramp. By preventing the different types from being connected, it should prevent any routing errors from driveable segments onto non-driveable segments.

Additional reporting options.
Two immediately spring to mind:
1. when reporting a weather hazard, it would be great to be able to report "sunstrike".
2. the only way to report a stopped car is as an object on the side of the road. The only hazards on the road are things like construction. I have had multiple occassions where I have come across a vehicle stopped on the road. These have not been an accident, rather they have been due to breakdown. An option in the "on road/in lane" category to advise of a stopped vehicle would be great.I love the app…
