  2. Color Change for Accident Blips

    You need to change the color of the Accident blips. They are the most important issue with regards to traffic jams or serious congestion, yet you let them blend into the background by making them gray. Please change them to a brighter color. As they are now, you are basically hiding them.

  3. Preferred Route

    Allow user to setup a preferred route to a destination and only change it when time would exceed a set time increase.

    For example, I never take any of the suggested route's to and from work. I have a set route that is always within 5 minutes of your suggested routes but has 50% less traffic and includes many back roads etc. But if travel time would increase by 10 minutes then I might take a suggested alternative route

  5. Add velocar

    Hello, please add double detection sistem. In Italy we have some devices (photored) they check passing with red light and the speed. All in one. But in app we have the possibility to choose photored or speed trap. We need both options. Thank you. In Italy it’s called Velocar

  6. Vignette control car warning

    In HU mostly on highways there are multiple vignette / tax and customs car, checking traffic and are roadside, but always reported as police which is very misleading. Should be an option for some other type, because most of the police warnings are false alarm.

  7. Multiple issues/suggestions

    1. Alerts/new report - If you touch outside button, report gets cancelled/alert is dismissed without feedback. Difficult to touch buttons accurately while driving.
    2. Be able to customise reporting section.
    3. Be able to select areas to avoid (for crime risks or road conditions etc).
    4. Some saved addresses don't show when searched by saved name, or address.
    5. No in-app suggestion/complaint/report system. And no email responses to issues reported. This suggestion/complaint platform is unnecessarily complicated. Reporting issues, and receiving feedback should be simplified to an in-app section.
    6. When you report multiple road issues (eg. Potholes) within a short distance, they're not shown separately to…

  9. Popup

    Hazards and speed camera pop-ups are blocking/obscuring the lane guidance in Android Auto. Please redesign and make it smaller or move it somewhere else. It's dangerous as drivers have to keep dismissing and closing the dialogue pop-up

  12. navigation disappearing android auto

    There's a known bug of this and I was directed here by support.

    I have found a work around to get Waze navigation to work on the vehicle display through Android Auto.

    These steps, in this order, will allow Waze navigation to function on the vehicle display. The steps must be performed each time the phone connects to the vehicle. So switching from wireless Android Auto to wired and vice versa will require following the steps again. All steps are performed on the vehicle display unit, not on the phone.

    1. Open Google Maps on the vehicle.

    While Jeff Foxworthy would be great voice, we would love to be your husband/wife duo from the South! How great would it be to hear a southern husband and wife going back and forth about getting to new locations! 😂😂😂 Love, your next great southern duo!

  14. Capitalize on the Great American solar eclipse 2024

    I'm not sure if you all are already thinking about this, but I think it would be really smart to capitalize on the upcoming Great American solar eclipse on April 8th. I've noticed that Waze is good about navigating large crowds of vehicles through the available road systems when a lot of people are running the app, so I think it would be great to market and advertise to folks that they should be using the app in order to alleviate the traffic and smooth everything out. I know I will be running the app, especially on my way home!

  16. Speed in School Zone is 30 km

    If the App gives a warning of school zone coming up in 50 meters, it will be very helpful for the driver to slow down well in advance. In the school zone, if someone is speeding the map should show a bigger warning & may be talk to the driver about cameras giving tickets.

    I would like to see a feature where when a police is located you can have an option to say if it’s an RBT or mobile speed camera ect… have an option to say what police are there instead of just a police icon.

  20. Select which lane a hazard or stopped vehicle is in on the motorway/freeway

    Users should be able to select which lane a hazard or stopped vehicle is in on the motorway/freeway.

    When driving on a multi-lane road, there's often reports of a hazard that cannot be seen. It would be more useful for "Which lane is the hazard in?" then select 1/2/3/4/5 so that drivers know specifically if it is likely to affect them.
