police
After making a report of police, I noticed in my Inbox that it was labeled as "police speed trap." I don't think the app should make that assumption. I report police presence ONLY to promote officer safety. Sometimes large trucks block drivers' view and they may not be able to see there is an officer (or other emergency responder) at the side of the road.

A version made for stick-shift drivers--so as not to take you on routes with too many stops.

Waze has serious problems! I installed it on my smartphone Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and initially worked during the first 3 or 4 Kms (experience to go home). Then, as further away (25 home Kms), failed to show the map and the navigation route. And the voice disappeared. Left to navigate!
I got home and the phone connected to the wireless network, clicked on Waze shortcut. And the smartphone blocked!

Have an Apple watch app.
I'm deaf myself. I love the Apple maps notifying me when it's time to turn since I can't hear the gps. But I love Waze because of its features. But I would love it more if it had the turn by turn notifications on my watch. It would be so much more helpful.

Free parking
I'm a volunteer at the smart campus in my university, and we are developing solutions to transport to/from our campus, hopefully making transit better in the surroundings as well. We'd like to feed waze's system with information about the parking lot occupation, to help students and teacher to fill in free parking spaces faster, and avoid lines in public street lanes, directly avoiding traffic jams.

Sempre ao sair para um determinado lugar, por exemplo: restaurante,

sound icon
The sound icon in the bottom bar is good, but to turn Sound On, you press the left side, but in the Settings you press the right side to turn Sound On. The Sound On should be on the same side so i don't have to try to read the label.

Safe drive Motivators
Alongside with the pop-up commercials that appear once I stop on traffic light or something, you can occasionally add some "Safe Drive" motivators, like: "Slow down, somebody waits you back home". You know, to make people think for a sec about how they act on the road.

Banner and viewer
With the new bubble banner the map is reduced. if someone is viewing your ride due to eta you sent them another banner is added and greatly reduces the map to a point where it's almost unusable and you cannot remove the "User is viewing your ride banner"

Ability to self identify as a slow moving moving vehicle or runner.
This feature would allow one to self identify as a slow moving object updating one's position as necessary (every .2 miles?), alerting approaching vehicles. This would allow a runner or a horse rider or road working crew to alert drivers to be alert as the approach. Perhaps with "hazard" lights on the main screen so the user knows they activated this feature. The feature would self disable above 25 mph. And perhaps reactivate below 25 mph unless disabled.

היום בעלי ואני נתקענו עם פנצר בשמורת טבע ומייד המוני ישראלים עטו לעזור לנו.
ואחר כך חשבנו על כל אותם אלה שנתקעים בכבישים צדדים או בשעות לא סבירות ואין מי שיעזור להם. וחשבנו שחבל שאין בוויז אפשרות לדווח על רכב תקועה ומי שירצה יוכל לעזור!2 votes
