  1. I am using an iPhone, and am in the Detroit area. I think a useful addition to hazards would be 'debris' - I'm sure this would be popular.

  3. Speed trap takes up too much screen space

    On iOS (and maybe other phones), the speed trap notifications take up over 1/4 of the screen. When driving through London where there's hundreds of speed traps, the notification often hides the next turning (particularly annoying when the roads in London are so close together)!

    I know it's possible to turn off speed trap notifications, but can you reduce the size of this screen so I can still see the turnings?

  5. Startup sequence is misarranged; initial direction; use accelerometer; easier access to 2d map

    I'll describe the problem by describing my experience. Often I'm in a hurry to get directions and go. I start Waze and there's a relatively long wait (4 sec) for the splash screen to pass--understandable, but still a minor annoyance. Then I just want to get to Navigate so I can get my route. But Waze is busy drawing the map for 2-3 sec, which I don't need to see right now. At last I get to Navigate. I select my destination from my favorites and the machine starts route-searching.

  6. Is there a Family Locator function?

    Is there a Family Locator function? Like if your family member is a waze user, and for privacy they'll let your phone see their location, and you can be guided to their location by the gps?

  7. Police traffic stop - recording speed

    I would like to see an action that is a button always on the app screen displayed that allows you to capture speed and other information about your location, etc., when you are being pulled over by a police for speeding. Allow the user's to review the data at stop point to know their speeds, lets say 5 minutes prior to pressing the ticket button. Also, email the data to the user's email.

    Improve the Waze iPhone API. Currently only the features are available using he waze:// api:

    The new google maps app has much much more capability:

    I would love to be able to create a one tap navigate using waze link to all of my contacts in my address book. I can't do this currently because only queries are possible, plus the queries can't default to a specific search, further you can't navigate to a long/lat. for address which aren't known to waze... These would be very helpful!

  10. Allow the user to select their preferred default search

    This should be easy to add to the Waze iPhone app. All I want is a user selectable default search setting. I'm usually searching for an address when I use waze and it defaults to my contacts always which is annoying. Others might prefer yelp, or contacts, whatever.

  12. Navigation enhancement

    For navigation when you type in address that you have inputed before there should be a way of selecting it (auto fill) such as the mapquest iphone app instead of the need to type the whole thing over again.

  13. Pop ups and statistics

    It will be very appreciated to have pop ups when waze is not on the main screen. For example, when i phone, waze app is in minor and i don't know if there are warnings soon... It will be great to have a pop up when a warning is coming in the next 500m and waze is in minor.
    I m using the app very often. It will be fun to have personal statistics like i prevent for traffic, cops,...

  14. Be able to view a summary list of delays and congestion

    Have a menu option to be able to view at a glance the delays and congestion on your route. Whilst it's ok to see there are delays on the "Go" screen you can't easily tell where they are or how they will affect you.

  16. Add a Help feature for people that are in trouble

    Add a feature, where if a different wazer needs help, changing a tire, or needs any other kind of help, they should be able to report it on the map, so that anyone else in the route could stop by and help them.

  19. An user-resetable DATA counter? (want to know how much data used for a specific duration, not only in current session).

    Be able to check how much DATA used for a specified amount of time. Can check a month use for example.
