Add option allowing your URs to be posted under your username (not anonymoulsy)
It has been said numerous time that due to private data protections, URs are always posted anonymously.
However, many editors use the UR system as a mean to "take notes" of problems during a trip, and then will correct deal with those UR when on WME after the trip.
However, those URs are always marked as anonymous on WME and other editors often start to reply those UR not knowing that those were done by other fellow editors. This leads to a lost of time, since those UR should be considered as "already watched by another editor".

Prevent Constant Navigation pop-up while using other CarPlay apps.
I drive a Mazda CX-5 and whilst the car is in motion the CarPlay touchscreen is disabled and I interact with the interface using a wheel and buttons to move the focus and activate controls.
When using Waze to navigate and switching to music or Spotify or another app Waze will pop up notifications for alerts or upcoming navigation events.
When forced to use the wheel to control the interface this pop up is extremely annoying and interferes with controlling the CarPlay interface. It is so intrusive that I will be navigating songs etc and when I click to activate…

I have no connections with this company but a partnership or integration with the people that created the app IEXIT would be a nice plus. IEXIT shows all the rest stop and the stores available on interstate highways

Search along my route
When searching for a restaurant when I'm en route, don't tell me about the restaurant 2 exits behind me, tell me about the ones ahead and along my route. Maybe suggest a place along my route in an estimated time frame. i.e., look for a place to eat lunch between noon and 1p or breakfast at around 7am
Similar look ahead for hotels or stores.28 votes -
Place Updates and Approvals with Chat
We chat with users that send URs.
It will be helpful to chat to users that add places or update places with info and or pictures.
I have found myself having to make a judgement call on accepting or rejecting places based on information that is unclear.

Different icons for search results
Is is possible to differentiate the icon for cities and for all other places in search results?
Currently all of them have this "pin" icon and this is okay for all places, but it would be much clearer, if you used different icon to mark cities (like a globe or something).

Hazard alert confirm/deny
Keep the hazard alert thumbs up or down option on screen just a bit longer (don't start it so early if you want to keep the length of time posted the same). Right now, the option disappears about a tenth of a mile before I can confirm or deny the alert. At least keep it up until we pass the site of the hazard.

il faudrait pouvoir signaler un problème dans les 2 sens en même temps.
Quand on signale un problème tel que contrôle de police par exemple,
Il n'y a la possibilité de le signaler que dans "mon sens" ou "sens inverse".
Or il arrive quelque fois que le contrôle se fasse dans les 2 sens. Il est alors impossibe de signaler les 2!Je suggère de rajouter un 3ème choix "dans les 2 sens".

Please stop routing onto bike routes
I live in an area of the country with a lot of bike routes. Those routes are established on the assumption that they are low in auto traffic, or least generally local-only traffic. That seems to prompt Waze to guide me onto them fairly frequently during heavy traffic times, but in doing so this violates that basic assumption of keeping them low traffic.
As someone who bikes and drives regularly, I'd rather not see those routes grow in auto traffic as Waze adoption increases. If possible, please stop routing auto traffic onto those routes so that they can remain safe…

Groups were perfect for the motorcycle club, scooter club etc to keep track of the participants in a rally or other events.

Keep same web link when sharing via (follow my drive)
If like waze to be able to either allow for a vanity web address unique to each Wazer when they select to share their drive for people to follow their progress via the web or at least keep the web address the same for a set number of hours. If I share my drive and close Waze at anytime during my drive and reopen it, I then have to share my drive all over again with a different URL. If you allow the ability to create a vanity URL with the wazers username it would be easier though. Then they…

Distance to drive after a turn
After a turn, it'd be nice if the distance before the next turn is said. something like "turn right and go straight for 5 miles"

Estimados, todos hemos podido notar que la opción de chat desapareció debido a las recientes actualizaciones. Lo cual desde mi punto de vista como usuario frecuente de su aplicación encuentro que es un error fatal. Waze se diferencia de otras aplicaciones principalmente por su función de poder chatear con otros conductores. Ninguna otra aplicación tiene esa opción tan desarrollada como ustedes. Es una forma eficiente de informar y/o reportar situaciones que muchas veces con los simples iconos generales no es suficiente.
