Flash warning
Hi, is there a way you can get the screen to flash when approaching a speed camera and also have the speed limit highlighted b4 you hit tHe limit

Speeding alerts, 30.40 and 50 km/h above limit
At the moment the speeding alert can be set to a maximum of 20km over the limit but I also need other thresholds, 30.40 and 50km/h. In some countries, exceeding the speed limit by 50km/h leads to the suspension of the driving license.

Speedo meter, cam alerts,
The speedometer on the map plus the road speed limit is below on the phone. Speed cam alerts are show in the below part of the screen. While riding a motorcycle (superbike) i have to literally look down to see the speed taking my eyes off the road. This is dangerous. Please place speedo meter with speed limit indication on the top of screen or give an option like a layout to choose from. Driver Safety Points: auto-reply to texts, speaker/bluetooth calls only, and speeding alerts.
It would be great if, when you signed into Waze, you were prompted to click on Driver or Passenger. If you are the driver, Waze puts the phone into drive mode, and it either auto-replies to texts with one of five pre-set messages (set up in settings), or it becomes completely voice activated, so it reads your incoming text aloud and allows you to respond via voice only (also set in settings per driver preference). Add Driving Cops
When cops are driving, you can add driving cop which would make a cop drive on waze at the speed limit of the freeway. If the driving cop is around wazzers, the wazzers can confirm if the driving cop is near by and calibrate where the driving cop is helping out other wazzers.

Suggestions to Improve Navigation and Safety in Waze
I have a few suggestions to improve Waze: First, please keep the name of the destination visible while driving—sometimes it’s easy to accidentally choose the wrong location. Second, when a speed camera alert appears, it covers the current speed, making it hard to know if I'm speeding—please adjust the layout to keep the speed visible. Third, it would be helpful to have an audible alert when there’s a speed camera or police nearby, so drivers don’t need to keep looking at the screen.

Alert police on both sides of the road
Currently, waze only provides an alert when approaching police on the same side of the road. In Australia, police will check vehicle speed in both directions. Waze should have the option to provide alerts when approaching police on the opposite side of the road.

Allow crucial specifications for everybody
Every truckdriver and caravan driver is desperately waiting for Waze to launch the ability to:
1. Define these type of vehikels
2. Define speed restrictions (like allowed speed 80 or 90 km/hour)
3. Have local weather info om the waze screen
This would expand the use of Waze immensely. Waze would be much more attractive to advertisement AND we would be more than willing to pay for a ‘pro verspin’ with these crucial features!5 votes -
Manually set Speeds for different vehicle setups
I use Waze to drive a jeep, jeep & trailer, bus and trucks.
Legally towing, bus & truck must travel at lower speeds in the cars and jeeps.
It would be really helpful if we could:
1) create different vehicle profiles for the same driver and switch between them.
2) Have the option to be able to manually input the max speeds for vehicle profile eg National roads in Ireland are 80km for bus, truck and towing and 100km for bus and 90km for truck and towing on motorways. This would be more for calculating journey times than …

Alerts
Can you change the alerts so that cameras are warned at any speed nit just when at speed limit or above. Many times I've approached under the speed limit, had no audible warning then my speeds increased as I've got closer

Allow someone to enter a new hazard and place it at another location. There is a common speed trap near my house that I would like to enter a hazard for when the cops are ticketing

Enable Speech-to-Text for Map Update Requests While Driving (via Android Auto and CarPlay)
I would like to suggest an improvement to Waze that would allow users to fill out map update requests (URs) using speech-to-text while driving, particularly when connected through Android Auto or CarPlay.
Currently, when users select a map update option (such as "Incorrect address," "Missing road," or "Speed limit") while driving, there is no way to add a description of the issue. This limits the ability to provide detailed reports and often results in incomplete information being submitted. With speech-to-text functionality, users could quickly and safely dictate descriptions of the problem without having to stop or manually type anything.

Do I need a map
A lot of my driving I know the route, I travel it every day and for there is no reason to change
What I need the the speed (Big Display)- speed alerts (When over the limit) - warnings - hazards, police and radar verbally called and heavy/standstill traffic when approaching recorded warnings within the last 30 minutes.
This would save on the map downloads and for me the use of mobile data, even though I have found this to be very small.
