What about connecting Waze to OBD port so that waze can connect to a vehicle's cruise control and maintain speed under certain conditions?
Add a feature that connects waze to a vehicles OBD to help maintain speed through vehicles cruise control to maintain speed
Waze "knows" traffic around it, weather conditions etc use that as a input to maintain speed5 votes -
Reduced Speed Limit to make a noise
Reduced Speed Limit to make a noise. Only shows on display at the moment, should make a noise to draw attention to it (like a level crossing alert does)

Speed traps menu
Wase deserves a specific session for speed traps. With a choice of types of alerts, distances and notifications at the user's discretion.
Other apps already do this. The day you finally have these options, Waze will be unbeatable1 vote -
Enable speed and associated icons to be placed on the left or the right side of the navigation screen at drivers discretion
Currently speed icons only display on right side of navigation screen. I drive a right hand drive car and speed icons are obscured by steering wheel and indicator stalks. It would be nice to have option to display the icons on the left or the right side of navigation screen at driver's discretion to facilitate clearer display depending on car navigation screen installed position.

Variable Speed limit warning customization
If the speed limit is say 50 mph or less, than a warning of 15 mph (or whatever you want) would be appropriate, but if it's over 50 mph maybe give a warning at 20 mph over. Also allow us to choose exact warning like 13 mph over. Seems like a pretty simple addition.
1 voteIn the Settings you’re able to choose when to warn you about going over speed limit – based on your suggestion you best choice would be to choose something like “Warn me at 15% above speed limit”

The display of the vehicle speed and local speed limit cannot be turned off. settings toggle do not work.
This may be a bug but the displayed speed limit and vehicle speed cannot be toggled turned off. It can be toggled off/on in the settings but the display continues to show on the screen.

Display correct current speed when in CarPlay
You should fix this problem that has been a problem for literal decades! The speed shown in Waze when in Car Play is always about 50% of the actual speed. This defeats the feature of letting you know the current speed and if you’re speeding. Sad that you won’t fix it.

Mobile speed camera
Uk at least, mobile speed camera alert needs to be significantly further ahead the distance as static ones. They have laser guns the work a good mile away, and they often set up on a long straight...

Speeding alert for drivers
Waze should make a sound to alert the driver when they are speeding.
Waze already shows you how fast you are currently driving, and it knows everything about the road you are on, so it should be simple to compare your speed to the listed speed of the road.
Waze has always been about saving time and money for Wazers, and about creating features to attract and keep people on their service. This allows Waze to on-sell quality map data to other businesses, such as Apple. Many other SatNav clients have speeding alerts to save the driver from…
325 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already displays a speedometer, including both your driving speed and the speed limit for the road you’re currently on.

An option to move the "average speed" pop up location
Currently the "average speed" pop up covers the speedometer, so there's no way of knowing what speed we're actually driving at until the popup disappears. Could you move the location of this popup or give us the ability to reposition the popup?

Interesting idea to register speed bump
hello
good time
For the speed bumps, I suggested that it be registered as artificial intelligenceThe idea is that you can in any country between 3 and 4 in the morning
There is no more traffic during quiet hours
So stopping drivers is definitely a speed bump
So it can be the average
Choose from the number of stops made by average drivers to record the speed bump

Have Waze automatically detect your speed on major roads
I drive the same busy highway every morning (I-64) here in the Hampton Roads of Virginia. A major section of it is under construction. Instead of passengers and/or drivers taking their eyes off the road to manually enter moderate/heavy/standstill traffic, it would be nice for Waze to automatically detect it and publish it to the map since there are enough people using Waze in this area. I'm sure an algorithm can be written that can detect Wazers within a 1-5 mile radius that are traveling at a particular speed and be able to automatically display the 'traffic speed' for…

Be able to put the speed at the speed trap that exist or a new one. Like price at gas station.
We should be able to configure the speed of that speed trap, editing or during the creation and it should appears at the pop up of the speed trap.

New speed cameras in San Francisco
San Francisco is putting in new speed cameras.
Can WAZE warn about these locations the same way they do for red light cameras?

Add speed limit to Spotify Waze-bar, would work in CarPlay
Waze for CarPlay would be great. But while waiting for that to happen, maybe you could add speed limit to the Waze directions bar in Spotify? I could get both directions and speed limits in my car kitted with CarPlay that way since Spotify works with CarPlay.

Speed cameras
Is it possible that you can add in settings on “display” that we can edit the photo size of the speed camera that is coming up on our route. And if we can change the colour of it to our interest.. as the gray camera is hard for me to see and the size of it is small for me to notice..
Thank you for your great work making Waze 🤩

Auto speed adjustment integration with cruise control and auto brake function. On highways only.
Because of fuel burned, brake pads worn, and accidents during traffic on highways and frustration of stopping on a highway for apparently no reason at all.
Wake has enough data on the highway to integrate with auto manufacturers Cruise Control and auto braking function to keep all traffic flowing a almost constant speed. Without the concertina effect caused by human speed adjustment error. Humans will never fully trust or do not want to wait for or would possibly even afford a self driving car.
This system would only be available on highly congested highways to keep the flow of…3 votes
