Miscellaneous Suggestions - Reporting Items Not There and Hazards
I would suggest having the ability to select reports and mark them as not there. For instance, oncoming traffic reports of speed traps or traffic that have since cleared up but not timed out.
Also reporting a road hazard of disabled vehicle on the road. Currently there's vehicle on shoulder and you can report an accident on the road. We should be able to note a disabled vehicle blocking one lane.

Allow waze users to report accidet/constractions on road/close road after I finishing "my route"
I propose to allow waze users to report on route accidet/constractions on road/close road after I finishing "my route"..
For now, I drove on the highway and my signed on the route exit was closed - there was constractions and wase didn't show that there was closure. I needed to pass this highway exit and to exit on the next one. I couldn't sing the closure becouse of driving, and after I finished "my route" I wanted to report about the cloused exit in waze for other users, but it didn't find this opportunity in the program. Police Alerts
A police report should notify drivers when driving within a certain radius of the report and not just for drivers that are traveling in the direction of the report. This would be very beneficial on highways and eliminate the need to report police twice for both sides.
To make this make sense, if you’re traveling southbound on a two-lane road and you make a police report, it will only alert the southbound traffic, not the northbound.

Need the ability to note that some roads are private and closed to the public.
I live on a single lane, private road that is very dangerous. Unfortunately, Waze directs drivers to use my road when there is traffic backed up on the state highway that is adjacent to my road. I would like this road to be noted as "closed to public" (i.e. non-authorized traffic) on the Waze live map.

Hope Waze Adds 3D Maps
Hope Waze can add a 3D map view like Amap to make lane guidance clearer at complex junctions and highways. This would help drivers avoid choosing the wrong lane.
Since Google Maps is also introducing 3D maps, it would be great to see this in Waze too.

Report menu redesign
Nowadays reporting menu is not fluent enough to use while driving, especially when reporting hazards, due to heavy use of text in the menus Latest update even made the font smaller...
I feel that hazard report menu should contain icons in the same matter the main menu uses them. Meaning: car, animal and anything else should have an icon describing. Thus, making the reporting duty during driving a hell of a lot easier. Same goes with the lane choice for the report (you can barely see those tiny arrows there).6 votes -

Add a driving preference/option that selects routes that have reduced exposure to the headlights of oncoming traffic at night to reduce glare and halos. In addition to generally avoiding busy streets, the route chosen might prioritize two-lane roads so the driver can get into the right lane, thereby moving farther away from oncoming traffic. Older drivers hate driving at night so this is a big opportunity to potentially attract new users.

Add bus lanes and gates in waze in UK
I would love to add bus lanes in waze so new drivers and visitors from other cities will be saved from bus lanes fines. Specially in night times boards are unreadable. It's humble request please add this feature.

Merge warning
Let users report when a multi-lane route has a section cut off and cars have to merge into a left or right lane, so it will warn users coming up to the merge to go ahead and starve merging into the other lanes.
This could be another button to report on the user interface.
Ex: when a 4 lane highway has construction on it and part is cut off, cars have to merge into 2 lanes. For less traffic and easier navigation, being warned to go ahead and merge would tell a user to get over…

Route improvement
For Hillsborough township New Jersey, use Auten Road instead of Beekman Lane to get to and from Marshall Road.

Limit WAZE ads when turns are coming up
In an unfamiliar area with many turns, WAZE ads prevent you from seeing where you're supposed to turn, particularly on interstate interchanges where lane selection is important. I keep having to swipe the ad off the map when I should be paying attention to getting into the proper lane. The current ad display is actually unsafe.

ROAD CLOSURES are not shared . How can you improve this issue?
Waze needs to make sure ROAD CLOSURES are noted for drivers.

Create a new camera category to support new AI cameras
In Greece there are new AI camera installed on various spots in Athens. These cameras issue tickets for a plethora of traffic violations. Seatbelts, helmets, red lights, speeding, mobile phone usage etc. These cameras are now using a red light camera icon or a bus lane icon or sometimes speed camera icon. There should be a new category for those cameras that cover all the violations.

Possibility to tick an avoid country lanes box
Overview routes are only general. A button to tick "Avoid country lanes/no name lanes) would be so useful to not go in circles, trying to find a better route towards a location. It's not always possible to avoid country lanes, but most of the times/most of the route can be at least on B roads.

Make Waze a perfect navigation system
It definitely needs lane guidance (even google maps which technically is not a navigation system has lane guidance)
When you search for POI it should tell you how far (distance and time) off rout the POI is from your rout. (again google maps does that.)
Wase has problem with long distance. I travel a lot from Somerset NJ to Toronto Canada, and always have to wait at least half an hour for Wase to start working aside from several times crashing and not being able to do anything with phone because it crashes. This might be due to large amount…

Improve the UI
- Speed Camera/Hazard/Red Light Cam pop up is too big & obscures lane navigation. Make it smaller! This is particularly detrimental when lane change is close to the speed cam and driver can't see the lane guidance
- After passing speed/red light camera, why the 10sec delay showing the warning? Not useful at all. Just a small icon will do, why take up precious screen space
- Can't close the speed cam/hazard pop up as the cursor keeps defaulting back to Search icon (I use a navigation dial on my Audi, which does not have touch screen interface). As it keeps blocking the …

Please correct my home address
My address is 10419 Chickahominy Falls Lane, Glen Allen, VA, 23059. When searching Waze, it lists the address as 10419 Chickahominy Falls Lane, Fredericksburg, VA. There is no such addres in Fredericksburg, which is 45 miles away. But, oddest of all, the directions bring you to Glen Allen. Can you please help me? I could not figure out editor.
