Minimalistic version of Voice navigation alerts? In the voice selection menu could be the simple "BEEP" (or any other, even in different variants by users selection). I mostly drive with all alerts off, I watch the screen heree and there. But driving on highway can easily couse the junction miss. Simple tick or beep sound will notice me, the upcomming route change.

Make app usable on iPhone X
Love the Waze app. Been using it for years before it became popular here in Aus. However, app has become choppy and jerky on iPhone X. I know it is an old phone but Google Map and Apple Map's navigation don't even have this issue. Waze app is hard to pan and zoom in zoom out. I actually got lost many times due to this. Can you please make it usable on iPhone X?

3 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

Hi,
Could you explain the decision behind the latest update which moved all of the buttons to the far top right corner on the Android Auto/Apple head unit screen. If you're in an American car you have to reach across your entire head unit to hit them. This is dangerous and less intuitive than the previous version that had them in the bottom left (closest to the driver). Very poor decision by the Waze staff.1 vote -
Auto North Button
Please give the option to Auto North Adjust the map without using the "Keep map north up" setting.
Same concept as the Re-Center button, but "Re-Rotate" the map view to North Up temporarily.
For example: Apple/Google Maps have a compass icon that you can press to re-rotate your view back to north up.
(It also shows which direction the map is pointed in, which would be nice to have)1 vote -
Waze for golf
Waze should create a version called Playz for golf courses.....you can post how long a hole is taking based on who's ahead of you, whether the greens are fast or slow, if dear or alligators on the hole (yes!). My Garmin golf watch can't tell me ANY of this! Have the PGA sponsor you and they can let fans join in as golfers post updates!

Optimal route calculation - include price (consumption/persons time)
I notices that fastest route is chosen.
I always watch for alternatives if there is a similar time but shorter version.
Wery ofter is similar time (for example 20minutes faster vis highway, 23 minutes via road), but via high way is 30 km, via normal road is 15km. Difference in consumprion is huge, difference in time is acceptable, even if I calculate the price of my time.If you calculate best way based on "price", optimal way will be better.
Solution: calculate price of people time (for example 10USD for an hour) and 0,1 USD for one kilometer. Best price…

URGENT! Wase Map Issues
Kindly note that there are issues on Wase map while using iPhone 14 pro and apple CarPlay in my Toyota Altis 2021 listed below:
- The road map and the arrow is shacking while navigating to a certain place.
- The map have pixel box appeared while navigating to a specific location.Please help to check and rectified it soonest

Hej!
Om jag använder Apple car play så fungerar ankomsttid bra. Dvs jag ser tidpunkt jag kommer fram, hur många minuter det är dit. Så länge det inte är långt kvar. När det blir timmar och tvåsiffrigt antal minuter så tar den bort hur många km det är kvar.Jag har en Volvo XC60 från 2023 där Waze appen är installerad. När jag använder den visas ankomsttid två gånger plus inom om återstående sträcka. Hur lång tid det är kvar får jag räkna ut själv.

Show route turns on landscape and portrait mode
The upcoming turn-by-turn directions would populate in landscape mode not too long ago. Now, it only shows a zoomed out version of the map. Why would anyone not want directions like they do in portrait mode? This was an awful update which caused me to nearly have three accidents in my vehicle without CarPlay. I have had to resort to Apple Maps and google maps because Waze appears to care more about voices and cool features instead of functionality!

App development / upgrade to display larger MPH on cellphone while using Carplay or Android Auto
Can Waze find a way to display the speed limit in large font on the cell phone in conjuntion with and while using Apple Carplay. Today when I open The Waze app on my cellphone while using Car play I get the turn by turn directions listed out. My idea would be an option to switch that to a larger MPH display/displays on the cellphone which would be easier to see that the smaller MPH that is on the map. Just a thought but I think you guys can do it.

Allow the app to work without google play services/store/post it on github
As Google will be breaking normal downloading and forcing a lot of android users to use the app store (which is already a pain), and if this happens a lot of users who use android exclusively for the lack of restrictions will move away from android to open source forks which possibly won't even support google services at all...
Please post a version of Waze on github with its own internal services/dependencies! (Similar to how it works on Apple, no?)

Android Auto blocking scrolling
When using Waze over Andoid Auto, it blocks selections until you stop the vehicle. It is rather irritating as it is possible to use Waze if I disconnect from Android Auto, select address on the handset and reconnect, which requires 5x as much distraction.
It is OK to warn to watch the road instead, but it should release the further selection after a while like the phone app.
The most irritating is when I have just reached the desired
address and you mask it with the blocking warning :(

Also, using Waze inside Android Auto is cumbersome. Can Waze be separated out? I really don't like Android Auto or Apple Car Play. My phone and streaming services worked fine without the overhead. Now, EVERYTHING goes through Car Play or Android Auto - text messages, voice mails, streaming, etc. Just pull Waze OUT and let us run it separately from AA and CP.1 vote -

I have recently daily watched cars on a local street in Echo Park using Waze to get around traffic only to be directed up one of the steepest streets in Los Angeles. CarPlay
CarPlay dashboard navigation mapping is unstable.
Every time I use navigation, the mapping on the dashboard disconnects after a while and shows the message “Please connect Apple CarPlay,” although CarPlay continues to display normally on the central screen. This is definitely not an issue with the phone or the car system, because I tested it in my friend’s car and the problem reappeared.
In addition, the navigation route displayed on the dashboard is too thin, making it difficult to use. I suggest making the route line thicker and more prominent.1 vote -

If it is possible, it is just a suggestion in order to change the car screen system to something that you can do and it will be a very wonderful program.
First - themes for the program: colors, models of cars and their companies. We can control them within Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Secondly - The speedometer tab has a sporty shape and neat shapes that you can design and they are integrated with the themes that you will make with each car, company and model that has its own meter 💖💖1 vote -
BUG ISSUE - Music Stutters when app is in the background
After updating my iPhone 15 Pro to iOS 18, when I play music through either Spotify or Apple Music while using the Waze app in the car, I've noticed that the music stutters for about 1-2 seconds in the following scenarios:
- Entering the Control Center
- Entering the Notification Center
- Exiting the Waze app while directions are still running in the background
- Tapping on the Dynamic Island
This stuttering issue was not present before the iOS 18 update, and I've found that Google Maps does not exhibit this problem.
