3. Waze car icon bug in android auto

   I only use waze for android auto and have the car icon setup as a convertible. After every Waze update, it resets this to the triangle, until I launch the Waze app manually on my phone

6. Show temporary speed limits in construction zones

   Temporary Speed Limits for Roadworks & Construction Zones
   This suggestion aims to enhance road safety and improve the accuracy of Waze navigation by implementing a feature that displays temporary speed limits in real-time. These are the limits indicated by the yellow or orange signs on portable stands often found in road repair and construction zones.
   Currently, Waze primarily relies on static, permanent speed limits for a given road segment. However, in areas with ongoing roadworks, the official speed limit is often temporarily reduced to ensure the safety of both drivers and road workers. Without this information being reflected in the app, Waze may still indicate the higher, permanent speed limit, which could lead to confusion and unsafe driving behavior.
   How it would work:
   Users could report a temporary speed limit change in a manner similar to reporting a road hazard or other alerts. A new category could be added to the reporting menu, such as "Temporary Speed Limit". The user would then be prompted to select the new, temporary speed limit and the length of the road segment affected.
   Benefits of this feature:
   • Increased Road Safety: By alerting drivers to lower speed limits in construction zones, Waze would help prevent accidents and protect the lives of both drivers and road workers. This is the primary and most critical benefit of this feature.
   • Improved Navigation Accuracy: The app would provide more precise and up-to-date guidance, ensuring that the displayed speed limit matches the real-world conditions.

7. Resize directions box while connected to Android Auto

   After recent updates, the box displaying directions covers half the screen when connected to Android Auto. Please shrink the box, allow users to move it or resize it. It makes it difficult to see where you are going on the map sometimes.

   Great news! The feature of reducing the size of upcoming turn/direction/navigation box in Android Auto is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

8. Android Auto display on instrument cluster on VW Group cars

   I've hit this issue and according to research it has been reported by other people using Waze Android Auto on VW Group cars.

   In my case I have a Skoda Superb, and when using Waze Android Auto navigation, the instrument cluster will often(/always) show incorrect symbols for turns.

   It seems to mostly go wrong for roundabouts, which the UK has many of. Roundabout direction icons will either incorrectly show as just a turn, or in the worst cases a right turn at a roundabout will show with a U-turn symbol.

   This confusing display has been enough to stop me using Waze, I'm using Google Maps instead.

   Please improve the notification management for andoid auto. I would like to hear only some alerts, not all, and be able to manage the sound level.

11. Android Auto Coolwalk View Tile

    I was happy to see that Waze could now do split screen on Android Auto. My only feedback so far is if you are using Waze for navigation the "next step" at the top and the estimated ETA at the bottom take up a big portion of the screen. The next step at the top covers the up coming route. On the full screen you are still able to see the route ahead and any upcoming issues. When using the split screen view in Coolwalk before setting a destination the top right quarter of my screen defaulted to quick access for destinations to send to Waze while the bottom right corner was my media app. It would be nice if that top right corner of the screen could be used for the navigation directions, the bottom right corner would be the media leaving the left side for a less obstructed view of the map.

    I was happy to see that Waze could now do split screen on Android Auto.     Un using the alert panel add a new menu with speed limite panel as icons. Icônes appear on map as any other alertes.

15. Autovelox and Speed section control

    I have two suggestion about it...
    it would be so much greater if all the autovelox were reported every time also if we run under the limit, because if for any reason after the no ringtone pop up I go over I have no notification about the autovelox... it will be su much easier and safer if was introduced the possibility to enable an all time notification

    for the section control speed you must integrated a average speed in the section and improve the where the section start and finish

16. enlarge the size of the speed display on android devices, and change the colours to improve contrast

    I find the speed hard to read on my android when mounted to the handlebars on my bike. If the speed was larger, and with better contrast, especially the red on black, that would help a lot

    The alert about speed cameras warns about cameras that are positioned on the same direction the car drives, which is counterproductive.It should warn about cameras that are placed on the opposite direction, because these cameras are the ones that are relevant , they take the picture.

    Please support the geo:0,0?q={lat},{long}(title) url scheme in the android auto app.
    Currently it moves to a "random" address, sometimes as far as a few miles away.
