Don´t take for the average the motorcycle speed
In all the countries, are motorcycles drivers using waze, when there´s a lot of traffic, they go faster than the cars, I was thinking that the speed of the motorcycles don´t matter, for this important reason it doesn´t have to upload the speed to the waze servers.
When we open the app, it could be a question: are you usen a motorcycle? or a car?, or it could be a setting too.
The information that is upload for the motorcycle drivers are impacting to the ETA of the rest of the drivers!!!!!!!!!

Audible Alert for Fixed Speed Cameras
Every Sat Nav device that I have ever owned HAS an audible (sound) alert to speed cameras. This is because most drivers keep their eyes on the road most of the time, not on their Sat Nav. I have done some basic programming in the past and know that adding a PING (sound) to something that happens in a software program is the EASIEST thing that a developer could possibly do. So, WHY on earth are Waze developers ignoring this important feature, when so many people ask for it? Just flashing up Speed Camera in words at the bottom of…

Eco mode
How about an Eco mode that would give you a warning beep if you accelerate or decelerate too fast or drive over the posted speed limit? Of course, the driving speed (for traffic) would need adjusted (because if you're driving 10 under the speed limit for MPG reasons that doesn't mean that there's traffic issues).

Option to Disable Specific Alerts, Including Speed Bump Notifications
I would like to request an option in Waze to allow users to disable specific types of notifications, such as speed bump alerts. While these notifications can be useful, they can become overwhelming in areas with numerous speed bumps. Having the ability to customize which alerts are enabled would greatly improve the driving experience and reduce distraction.

Can you alert people about Speed cameras sooner
Today’s mobile speed cameras can catch you one mile away, your alerts seem to be that or less and it just doesn’t give us enough warning.

Increase the notification for speed traps
The warning for speed traps was probably intended for when a trap is sited on the same road as the motorist. Some traps are now being located on higher elevations (road bridges that cross the target road or higher ground) that provide a greater line of sight and thereby rendering the normal speed trap warning insufficient. I would happily receive a warning at least a mile out from a trap, instead of seeing the trap before the alert occurs.

Great news! The alert for sudden drop in speed limit is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

Including the allowed speed in the vocal warning for speed camera's or trajectory control woud be a great feature.
Also a bigger actual speed and allowed speed indicator, one at the left and the other one at the right bottom of the screen woud increase usability.

Please remove the daily limit on alerts.
Daily limit on map alerts for police and vehicles on shoulder is WAY too low. Please raise the limit. On a long trip of 600 miles i passed through major cities and the amount of alerts goes up of course. This limit should be related to the WAZE score for the user. The higher the points, the more alerts per day you can send.

I would like to ask you to a feature to Waze: whenever there is a warning on a road speed camera, please add also the allowed speed in this
I would like to ask you to a feature to Waze: whenever there is a warning on a road speed camera, please add also the allowed speed in this road.

Alert police on both sides of the road
Currently, waze only provides an alert when approaching police on the same side of the road. In Australia, police will check vehicle speed in both directions. Waze should have the option to provide alerts when approaching police on the opposite side of the road.

Graph of speed throughout a journey
Would be very useful to access a graph of speed driven throughout a journey, once you've finished the trip.
There could be a section in the menu which allows the user to see previous journeys undertaken, along with a graph of the speed throughout the trip.
Would be useful for evidence, or to monitor and compare different routes.1 vote -
Adding roadworks and speed camera to the report list
My Waze maps in Melbourne Australia does not have the option to report roadworks or sneaky pop up speed cameras that sit on the side of the road 🫣 as it's not police it feels wrong to report it as police on the map 🤷

Top speed
Add a customizable user chosen top speed for calculating the optimal route.
It doesn't help me much if the routjng algorithm opts for freeways where I can go unlimited but drive a detour when I can't or don't want to drive these speeds1 vote -
exceeded speed limit voice instead of beeping
Please add the option to hear a voice warning like "you're driving to fast" or in dutch "je rijdt te snel".
There are already so much sound beeps in a car1 vote -
Max speed setting? My van doesnt go above 50-55
Hi, can we have a max speed setting? My van doesnt go above 50-55 so sometimes motorway routes arent the quickest option. It might suggest better routes based on my maximum speed

Width Restrictions and Speed Humps/bumps in the UK
Would be great prior to planning that Waze can ask do you wish to avoid width restrictions and speed humps (if its applicable)

Notice if a location has had speed cameras/police cameras report multiple time in that locations
An alert if a location has had multiple reports of speed cameras or police in that location in the past.
I'm thinking of mobile speed camera traps that are moved around. The locations for both mobile speed traps and mobile speed vans tend to reuse the same locations.
So being able to have an alert saying cameras have been reported in this location previously would be brilliant.8 votes -
Android auto controls to left side
Currently controls on android auto are all on the right side. You need to overstretch to reach this.if the controls could be shifted left or right so the touch controls are ne near the steering wheel.

Predictive Coasting Speed Alert / Vorausschauende Roll-Geschwindigkeitswarnung
I suggest adding a predictive driving option to Waze that helps drivers adjust their speed more smoothly before reaching reduced speed zones.
Currently, Waze shows the reduced speed limit exactly when you reach the zone, which often forces drivers to brake actively. My proposal is that Waze should calculate the optimal point at which I should release the accelerator, allowing the car to coast into the reduced speed limit without using the brakes.
The system should display an alert such as “Reduce speed to 50 km/h in 300 m” at the right moment for coasting.Additionally, the app could optionally collect…1 vote
